I'm still waiting in the base. Yeah I'm interested.
Molly accepts the help with a weak smile. "Thanh's, bub." She latches on to Dimitri with a weak grip and tries to walk over to the exit. She swallows with some difficulty and puts out a noise that sounds to be a cross between a chuckle and a groan. "Ya really smack'd me -- good in th' dome, man..." Her free hand goes to the back of her skull and comes back speckled with red. She lazily pulls her mouth into a cringe and groans again. "May need to... guh -- get to th' med place. Get me fix'd up." She extends an arm as they reach the exit and curls her fingers slowly. With a hum, Vulcanus moves from its perch beside the door and floats slowly, head first until it comes to a stop beneath Molly's arm, serving as a makeshift crutch to assist her in walking. She could barely see straight, and was leaning heavily on both her hammer and Dimitri himself. She looked to him once more, one eye glued shut by blood, "D'ya mind helpin' me to th' doc?"
"Let's be off then, yes?"
Priscilla nodded and drew her shield from her back, holding it at the ready as she trudged into the swamp. The sound of buzzing insects, croaking frogs and the sloshing of still bog water became all that she could hear as she set foot onto the slushy, drowned soils. Her eyes swept over the environment, taking in all that she could and remaining alert. She could feel a great presence, the sense of unknown weight that she felt on her mind whenever she was drawing close to the end of a hunt. She repeatedly adjusted her grip on her blade, the pins and needles almost unbearably present. Her footsteps were careful, testing the occasional patch of mud with the tip of her blade to check if it is safe to walk on. "Let us move quick. I itch to exact my vengeance and rid with world of this creature."
Molly's mind swam, and felt just about ready to fall open at any moment due to what felt like an axe wound in the back of her head. Her platinum hair, once clean and bright, was now more of a gradient of dirty reddish-brown, only retaining its former color near the tips. She lifted her head slowly, swaying slightly and groaning with a quaver in her voice. From her nose and the top of her head also ran rivulets of red, making her cute face look more like a horror movie villain's than a young woman. Spitting out some red-tinted saliva, she speaks weakly. "I... I stayed -- no'ne knocked me off th' hill." With a massive grunt of effort and some time spent slowly squirming, she pushed herself onto her knees and sat hunched over, arms out and fingers spread wide. With a pushing motion and a strobe of rumbling bass, she is pushed to her feet. She is able to stand with her knees facing inward, if only barely. "I'm m'okay, jus' gotta get patch'd up, man." She takes a wobbling step forward and promptly stumbles, but catches herself with another gravitational push. Once stable, she looks over to Ariella and James, and raises a hand to either speak or steady herself. "Coulja gimme som' help 'ere, get me over to th' entrance and m' hammer?"
As am I.
Cool with me, I'm having fun.
Priscilla stepped from the tunnel and smiled, feeling the open air upon her face. Her revelry was cut short by the smell of moss, stagnant water and rotting plant matter, a dank scent thick in the air that hit her in the back of the throat and made her stomach budge slightly with disgust. She looked to the dragonspawn and nodded curtly, "Well done, Dragonspawn. You'd make a fine miner, I'd wager. Still would have like to walk the earth on its surface, as the Maker intended, but we are here now. I have no interest in complaining." After a bash of her fist on her breastplate out of small respect, she turned to Jacque and pushed the scent of the nearby swamp from her mind, trying to take in all of the sage advice that he doled out. "I see. So in short, we have man-eating mud, man-eating insects and more man-eating mud before us. And we are to wade through it all before we reach the dragon itself?" She grinned, the prospect of danger exciting her and spurring her heart on even more. "I am to believe that the beast itself resides in the centre of the swamp itself?" In the back of her mind, she could still taste the scent of something malicious on the air, just as before. Rotting plant and brimstone, smog and smoke. Her fingers felt as if they were punctured on all sides by needles, and her eye felt fit to leap from her skull, prompting her to rub it slowly as she gazed at their surroundings. Something was here. Something unnatural. She tightened her grip on Verschlinger and gave it a small practice swing before pointing towards the swamp with it. "If so, then I guess its to the centre of the swamp we go."

Oh yes indeed. I didn't want either to have to be the loser because they both seem too proud, so it seemed to be the logical option. Solid fighting though, Leo is a cool characters to battle against. Fantastic work, had a lot of fun!
With a shake of her head, Tina swore that she saw something out the corner of her eye going behind the bus, but didn't pay it much mind. Must have been a bit of a daydream or some sort of gas cloud. Like swamp gas. But were they anywhere near a swamp? Oh well. She continued to watch the people enjoying her family's treats before setting down her skateboard and stepping on the deck in preparation to head off to... somewhere. She was pretty much free for the rest of the day, as far as she knew. Her step-father had told her to come out here and advertise their goods, but she didn't end up leaving until her mother asked. He didn't run the bakery at all anyway, he just liked to tell her what to do. She clicked her tongue in disapproval as she dismissed the thought. Her attention wasn't on her daydreams for long however, as she saw within the KFT that an employee took a short drop and a sudden stop, colliding with the floor in a rather dangerous fashion. She planted her foot firmly on her board and pushed off, looking both ways before leaving the sidewalk and rolling across the street. As she passed the bus completely, she noticed that two of the wheels had been removed entirely since the time that it had stopped. Now she knew that something was up, because it took her longer than that to remove the trucks on her board, let alone a bus wheel, LET ALONE two of the monsters. She could only shrug and look around with suspicion in her eyes, as she felt as if she saw another something just outside of her peripheral vision. She felt the need to show-boat a bit, and fulfilled her need by ripping a kickflip as she mounted the curb on the other side of the street. her stomach grumbled to remind her that she still felt a little hungry and had to ask herself, should she stop and get something to eat here? _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Meanwhile, in the dark of the forest just outside of town, a fuzzy shape stirs in the hollow of a tree. It climbs down from its sleeping perch on long, gangly arms and stands upright, taking a quick moment to peek out of the tree with its big, red eyes. With a look left and a look right to confirm that no one was there, it nods before coming out completely. It looks to be a boy covered in fur. Almost a boy that is, except for its long ape-like arms and the kite-like wings that started at the top of its head and ended at its heels. With a small flap and a short hop, it gains altitude and latches onto another tree with its talon-tipped fingers. Making no delay, it climbs into the coverage of the branches to get a better look at the town of Califum. What a wondrous place to be able to live. Roland almost envied the humans in that they got to live in such an interesting and shiny place. He loved the forest, but only so much and there was only so much you could do out here. As he sat in the branches, he debated taking another trip into the bustling human paradise when the dark of night fell. Maybe he just might today.

One arm at locked in a mutual hold, the other restrained and unable to aim her weapon, Morrigan was in a very precarious position. She growled and tried to wrench herself free but the hold was at much too awkward an angle for her to escape easily. The fact that she was going to lost to a miscreant like this was beginning to get to her, breaking through the carefully maintained façade of cool, calm sternness that she upheld whilst in command. It broke even more so as she felt the long, knife-like fangs sink into her neck with little resistance. She gasped out a yelp of pain and felt tears sting at her eyes, this was not good at all. With the pressure being applied to her neck, it was becoming harder to breathe and the white sparks flying from Leo's maw only confirmed that. But with him bent over, on the ground and her arms near his centre of mass, she felt there was only one thing she had left to do. The troops had all retreated at this point, leaving the battle as a conceded draw. Morrigan felt that maybe the battle she was fighting should mirror that of her troops. With her arms locked, she dropped Red Rum, and as it clattered to the ground she took a handful of his fur in each of her taloned hands. Using both his centre of mass and the anchor he had on her neck against him, she tried tilting back and pulling in an attempt to perform a sort of suplex and break the grab so she could pick up her gun and beat a hasty retreat. She felt her muscles straining as she struggled to pick him up, but hoped that the reserves she had left was enough to perform this manoeuvre and flip him off of her.
