Been some really fascinating stuff to read in this thread, it'd take me ages to get through it all though...most of it just hammering home how much of a poor writer I am

Blah

Anyways on topic

I can't stand people with absurdly high standards for what they're looking for in their fellow roleplayers, to the point there's not much of a hope in hell you can make them want to roleplay with you(especially when their writing isn't all that amazing either), so basically someone who isn't satisfied with anything but Brovo level of writing

As mentioned before by vance, people who just disappear off the grid without warning, if it's for a real life reason...well then at least try and get back to me somehow and let me know why you vanished, it makes me feel all sad and dejected inside when people disappear :P

Mostly just disappointed and frustrated, if I find someone I really enjoy roleplaying with and they're just...gone, completely off the radar, and I never hear from them again

I suppose I'm really not going to go on much longer, I feel like I'd just be repeating some of the complaints other people have already mentioned, and that I agree with

In regards to some of the things you said Kestrel, I'm really sincerely hoping you're not mad at me for throwing you for a loop in one of the roleplays we did...

EDIT: Oh hey did this turn into a thread that's not just about griping about roleplaying now? Would have read through the whole thing to find that out but...600 or so posts...
Yea I'll get you a post
There is a band of soldiers, it's ranked filled with sinners, murderers, thieves, rapists, and other scum...and they have created one of the deadliest fighting forces on the continent of Terrestria, for this is the method of an ancient king, to deal with vile criminals. The Legion of the Damned, created as a method of controlling crime, and getting usage out of those very criminals, who are sent, doomed to die in a fighting force that sends them to where the fighting is thickest, and fiercest, redeeming themselves in battle and death.

While one might define them as mercenaries, who they sell their contracts to makes it difficult to distinguish, the Legion will not sell its services to those it deems as evil, they are meant to redeem themselves by fighting evil, oppressive empires, mad and power hungry wizards, goblins, orcs, and others.

And they have come without warning to help a faltering kingdom, whose King lies dead, his armies largely broken, trying to fend off the predations of a larger country, who seek to annex it into it's own borders for its own greedy reasons, the only advantage the Queen has left is the large amounts of gold she has left from the rich mines inside her own borders.

____________

-To understand what's going on, this is a roleplay about a Queen, and her interactions with one of the Legions Chaplains, who are warriors who are capable of keeping the damned in line

-I don't play female roles, to clarify, so yes, you're the Queen!(or a princess)

Things to know about roleplaying with me

1. I don't want anything to do with someone, who's going to be touchy, okay? I dislike losing friends because said person bruises easily(and I mean really easy), if you're the kind of person who's gonna flip your lid over nothing, then don't even bother, I've had it with people who get offended easily, it hurts too much to lose friends cause of that.

I'm serious

2. Fantasy, and I usually do mature, but I don't have to, I've heard the belief that just because you're 18 and up, that you have no time for that 'little kid crap' as one roleplayer put it, that's just silly okay, I wonder what happened to things that suddenly thinking having sex in writing makes you mature and adult, and that being tasteful is 'kiddy'

So I'm okay with sex, blood, gore, etc. if you want it, great, if you don't, also great! (though gore, violence, and swearing is not negotiable, I won't compromise realism)

3. I really want someone who can do a high level of writing, I get tired of people who can't come up with their own plot, or write a decent amount in response(to often large posts from myself), unless character's are in the middle of dialogue it is NOT acceptable to write only one paragraph, that's insane, I'm looking for meat, content, I'm tired of sampling mere appetizers

4. Via PM, and if you're interested please PM me, don't message me here, I'll probably not see it

5. I like someone I can just casually chat with, if you're someone who isn't interested in talking, then go away, I like to make friends with my roleplay partners

6. I'm a gamer, and I also have my job, college and a baby to take care of, so if I'm not responding immediately, I'm sorry, sometimes I also need time to think of a post, cause sometimes I just don't know how to respond yet.

7. If you feel like I'm neglecting you, let me know

And with that, the New Macarthans are dead, in a horrible horrible way to make the rest of the collective loyalists shit their pants
All about was the stench of blood and gore, and human fear, the Night Lords had struck the New Macarthans without warning, without mercy, and with the excessive brutality their Legion was known for, dropping out of the Warp abruptly, they had unleashed an invention of tech-priest Deltrian...the Shriek, overloading all vox channels, all machinery with an unholy blend of what sounded like tortured souls...and screaming machinery, garbled machine code overwhelming and bogging down the machine spirits of the humans equipment.

In effect, almost the entirety of the Macarthans fleet, and their groundbased defenses were completely blinded, communication impossible, this gave the Eighth Legion more then ample time, to launch drop pods at the surface of the planet Thresha Secondus, before the enemy even realized it, the enemy was among them, with that the Eighth Legion jumped back into the warp, while the Claws worked their malevolent work.

The Shriek gone, the Night Lords proceeded to demoralize all of the Macarthans, by setting up equipment for the purpose of broadcasting everything going on in the planet to every single soldier, ship, planet, man, woman, and child, able to watch the horrific torture going on in eye-splitting detail.

First they defeated the ground based forces, for the Eighth Legion had launched at least two hundred Astartes, over thirty Claws, and thus the Guardsman were overwhelmed by the sheer speed, and surprise of the attack, it is one thing to fight off Space Marines if you know they're coming...quite another to fight them off when they use tactics of a sort many Chapters of Loyalists, or even traitor Legions would call cowardly, the Alpha Legion of course would have praised the Sons of Nostromo for the sheer speed, cunning and brutality of the attack, the Night Lords did not give the enemy even time to realize what was going on before they began killing.

When it was done, they gathered up the civilians, and then rounded up the women and children...and forced them men to watch as they brutally tortured and murdered them, when that was done nearly half of them gave up on life, offering up no fight as they were butchered, but the swift-acting venom of fear spread far worse through the rest of the Macarthans forces, having witnessed the whole thing.

The ground based forces disabled, the Eighth Legion's fleet dropped back into realspace, and attacked the severely demoralized forces of the enemy fleet.

Within two days, Thresha Secondus went dark, with only a single message being sent to the rest of the Macarthans, in a grim, vox growl.

"Weep and cry out for salvation that will never come, your Emperor is dead...and we come for you!"

Perhaps, had their hearts remained stout, and full of vigor, the Macarthans would have put up a better fight, but the previous atrocities, and the ones after that, continued to break their spirits, as Konrad Curze had once said, "Fear is a blade that never dulls, but grows sharper with each use, the element of surprise is lost quickly...but contaminate the heart with fear, and even the most invincible foe shall crack."

His words were proven correct, as the Night Lords reached the final planet remaining, Thresha Tertiary, though the population was much smaller, it mattered not as the Night Lords set up machinery for one purpose, to the rest of the factions that had served the Corpse Emperor...they sent a broadcast, showing the most horrifying, and ruthless atrocities yet, and a single message, audio only.

"The remnants of the Imperium have forgotten the Eighth Legion, and so here is a message to you why you should remember us, your god is dead, and now we come to finish what others have failed, the vengeful Sons of Nostromo are coming for you, and you shall remember why we made worlds surrender at the mere mention of our name...Ave Dominus Nox!"
And hey guess what, Moonlit Dreams is open

Again
I'll post as soon as I can, but right now lately I've been really busy
I PMed Eisenhorn, and I have received no word

Do I have permission now to slaughter his faction?
Don't get what you're asking Templar

I messaged Eisenhorn, if he doesn't respond in...5 or so days, he's out and my Night Lords can slaughter his guardsman, sound fair?
