In situations like these, one should probably feel insulted or at least something after getting the cold shoulder on his offer. Though, the doctor, another of his kind, had something to add. Using the woman's mechanical hand, that he found prior to joining them, he placed the palm of the hand on his cheek and tilted his head to the side. Wearing a fake smile accompanied by a fake laugh, he closed his eyes,
"Don't be such a wet blanket. To think there'd be a 'thing' on this so rude. The tea is quite delicious too. Such a waste." feigning disappointment to stay in character.
It was a common character type, especially found in mangas, where the character acts nice to all but when talking to a certain someone, acts completely different. He was going for 'sounds like being nice but in actuality was being insulting'. He wasn't sure if he said it in the right manner or got the hidden message part down. The one thing about human comics, its written one way but can be said another. Either way, he was just testing it in front of the others. Enso, being another Unnamed, probably wouldn't get it. As unnameds, the full understanding of human emotions alluded us, left to mere imitation. But interesting nonetheless.

Was cyborg the right human terminology for it? Either way, as she quickly moved around the room checking the pods, Alastair gave a salute with her robotic arm. I guess I can give it back to her later. A butler must be a gentlemen, after all. With a smile he turned around and faced the girl that said his name.
"Yes, that's correct. I am Alastair." he said with a bow.
"Certainly." he replied with a smile to her response. Well, at least the tea won't go to waste. It's such delicious tea, after all. Once the woman, Teige, was all set, he presented her with a cup of royal milk tea.
"Here's your tea madam." he smiled.
Pressing his hands together,
"A rescue mission, huh? Sounds interesting. Let's do it." he said in a calm, natural manner. On the captain's orders, he went to get himself ready for lift off.
