After School
When Akane finished, Ayano asked about her manga. Puffing up with pride, she tapped her chest with her fist. "Of course, I'm always working on something, mostly one shots about random things I see or imagine about. I like to draw different things, no matter how strange or plain something maybe. I like to challenge myself to see what I'm able to draw and whether I do a certain thing poorer or stronger then the next thing." Pausing to stretch a bit, she resumes.
"I've long been working on something I'd like to make a series of, for whenever I get my big break, as kind of a rough draft, but I've hit a wall with it so I left it at home until I get some more inspiration for it. I can probably continue with cliche things, but I'm quite picky and want each chapter to be interesting. Maybe when it's finished I may show it, only if I'm pleased with it, that is." she laughed.
As Ryan began introducing himself and got to his 'hobbies', a blank expression appeared on his face. She couldn't help but think that he was forcing it. Sheesh, if you don't like it, no need to force yourself. Is he trying to appease me or something? She was close to saying this out loud, but refrained and thought better of it, wanting to get this out of the way and get drawing. After the introductions, they finally asked about the lack of presence in the room, causing her to chuckle to herself. "Have no fear, there are a few others in the club, there's a ghost member and the rest are busy with other clubs, like me and kendo. It's just a matter of catching them on the right day."
After drawing for some time, she saw the others out and left for the day.

"Savage?" She looked at Ayano with a puzzled expression. "How odd, here I thought I was earnest and passionate." She rubbed her chin. Was I too blunt? I see, I guess not everyone would like that. Hmm. She wasn't too worried about scaring anyone off, after all, she has already met the required members for a club thanks to Alexai, Rui and others joining. It was never her intention to recruit a whole lot of people anyway, just enough to keep the club going.
With her ever present smile, "Oh, No need to apologize, I wasn't offended at all. Just thought it was my duty, as club president, to inform you what the school would allow (also people may start not wanting to do anything). Don't get me wrong, though, I do like video games. Wouldn't want it to be confiscated (by the club adviser), eh?" Her smile was briefly replaced by an annoyed expression "That teacher can be such a pain sometimes...." she mumbled to herself.
"Anyways, I'm Akane Hanagawa, Year 2, Class 2. And as you know, the club president. My hobbies are reading and creating manga. I aspire to be a professional mangaka one day." she finished with a bright smile.

I totally forgot the weekdays when Anime and Manga club is active. Will it be open tomorrow? Alexei will swing by if it is.
The Club is active whenever Akane is there. xD
But the club has its 'meetings' or so Mondays and fridays, Alexai can swing by whenever there's someone there (Since Akane will stop by there whenever she can). But she won't be at the club in the next IC day as Tuesdays and Wednesdays she's at the kendo club (and then Saturday or whenever she has the time, for the MMA club).

Keep in mind, this is japan and plus, Akane's club isn't a video game club, so while some might be cool with it, it won't be cool with her. It's all pretty much in the post. It's one thing to be alone and killing time but while others there, its another thing. In this case, she's not accustomed to people being there since the club was pretty much dead and was facing disbandment before everyone started joining. So it pretty much became a habit and she was pretty much in her own world by the time he said anything lol.

Same goes for anime, but all who were into making it have graduated from the club already. Reading and watching them often proves helpful in such endeavors."
Turning to the new member, Ryan, "No, it wouldn't," she stretched as she continued calmly. "For one, this isn't a video game club and secondly, this is a high school club. Doing that may be fine in a university, but not here. It's one thing for handhelds to kill time before others arrive but this is an anime and manga club, you know. Are you sure you want to join this club and not a game based one?" she asked.

Oh flood, for future Reference, from the time you entered the room, it's only been you, me and Ayano. The club isn't exactly overflowing with people, a number of people are now ghost members. The only 'real' members are, aside from akane obv, Rui who comes every now and then since he's practically in every club and Alexai (and now ayano making her 2nd appearance at the club). There's no NPCs in the club, so pretty much whenever you enter the clubroom, Akane would pretty much be the only one there unless mentioned in another post that someone is there. :p
