By the time they caught up to the Eevees, it was too late. The two Eevees had leapt out of a Sitrus Berry Tree, one that had a big gash against the bark, which meant it was an Ursaring claimed tree. Sure enough, one came barrelling after them. Luckily, this wasn't the same one from before, this one was much weaker, but still quite strong and the little Eevees had no chance. Troublesome but got to hand it to them, they got guts. Still quite stupid of them, though.

Just as they were cornered and were about to get attacked by the bear pokemon, the leader Eevee jumped in and took the hit for them, with the Eevees letting out shrieks of Agony as the leader got sent flying, landing hard as it desperately struggled to get up. It was getting bad, the Ursaring was poised to strike again and the 2 Eevees were too shocked to do anything. Luckily, Ruby and Dan managed to get there in time and attacked it.

Taking advantage of their attacks, Lucy quickly took a potion and used it on Zap, restoring it's health back to fighting shape. With Zap back in action, it was time to join in on the attack. Following up on Ruby's attack, "Zap, hit'em hard with Hammer Arm!"

It seems like their efforts paid off as Megumi managed to find something in regards to the way the shadow held the sword. With Megumi's suggestion, Rui tasked Sato as being the one to sneak behind the enemy and launch an assault. It was up to Akane and the others to act as bait and draw out the barrage. Which meant it was back on the attack again. Given how it managed to draw it out last time, there was only one choice. Summoning Setanta, "Kill Rush!" she commanded as she went on the attack, Katana raised.
Blair | Backwoods Cathedral - Soul Sacrifice

As she continued to follow the source of the surge of power, she noticed a group traveling ahead of her and a familiar face among them. The Archangel, Kushiel. It seems, her hunch was right. Though, she didn't expect to run into him again so soon, not that she minds at all. Deciding to follow them, considering they too were following the source of power, Blair arrived at the chapel, which was defiled on a whole different level than the rest of the Cathedral. She managed to slip in behind the group before the scenery changed.

It was there she was met with another familiar one, Enepsigos. Of course, it all makes sense now. It was the name of a demon that held the title of 'Madamma', Blair has only came across her a few times, and each sight was equally brief, since she started working for Sheba but she has heard enough about her to know what she's capable of. Though, she's quite different from how she pictured her and how most of the other demons acted. Not just any demon obtains the title of 'Madamma' after all.

Just as she noticed that the table Enepsigos conjured up had the exact number of chairs for the heaven enjoy and her, the other demon called out to her. Stepping into view of the others, she walked past the Archangel with a mocking grin. Despite being found out, Blair wasn't surprised in the least. "As expected of a 'Madamma'," Showing as much as she calmly walked towards Enepsigos. Though, it's not like she was being overly discreet or anything. Not after those minor annoyances she went through to get here.

Blair wasn't sure what the demon was up to nor did she care, as long as she got her job done, nothing else mattered. As much as she'd love to finish off the Archangel here, she was outnumbered and she was in a Madamma's territory. Wouldn't exactly be wise, besides, if she could finish this mission without the aggravation of a drawn out battle, she'll gladly go along with it. Though the demon was aware of her, this was the first time they formally met and it would be rude not to introduce herself. With a respectful bow, "A general of Mundus, I go by the name 'Blair'."

To produce such 'toys' from before, one can sense that Enepsigos must've been quite bored and as the human stated, must've held an ulterior motive. Real intentions aside, everything now hinges on whether she can convince Enepsigos to become Mundus's ally.

With the long struggle finished, York returned to reality to see that the two pokemon were on the ground and completely exhausted. He called out to Talonite, only to find him busy with a sandshrew, and turned his attention back towards the two pokemon before heading over to the cafe counter. When he returned, he had two plates of pokemon. One for Ren and One for the Dewpider. As exhausted as the Dewpider was, the moment it caught a whiff of it and came into view and instantly revived.

As soon as they were comfortable, York turned towards the Dewpider and asked if it wanted to join him. For a moment there was no response, then the Dewpider looked at the plate of food before looking back at York. At first the Dewpider wondered if it was a trap, but the smell of the food and the fact the trainer gave it food earlier, made it not care anymore. With drool forming at its lips, the Dewpider voiced its agreement to joining York before vanishing to it's plate, stuffing it's face with food.

After the Gastly managed to get the sand out of it's eyes, it gave the Sandshrew a nasty look only for it to realize it was already asleep. With the pokemon now immobile, Talonite threw the pokeball that he took out earlier and tossed it at the sleeping pokemon. It shook twice before finally stopping and capture being complete, causing a sigh of relief. Now that the 'battles' have concluded, they finally were able to enjoy their meal for once.

Just as it appeared they were heading for a fight, one of the other Eevees from before stepped out of their caves and managed to convince the leader to step down with a few little yelps. Lucy wasn't sure what it said to get it to stand down, but she was thankful for it. A battle so soon after the last was the last thing they needed. After a moment, the rowdy Eevee turned towards Zap and began yelping errr talking. The wait was long and awkward but once finished, Zap turned towards her and tried to explain but got caught in the moment and was slow to realize she didn't speak pokemon.

Well, it happens. Lucy and Zap can understand each other quite well, but not exactly the best at explaining things, especially when it comes to relaying messages or whatever from others. Zap than resorted to explaining charades style, using his motions and drawing in the dirt. Suffice to say, it was quite hilarious and Lucy had a hard time resisting the urge to laugh at loud, much to the Elekid's chagrin. It was a bit rough, but Lucy got the general idea of what this was about. But if the translation was spot on, the faces of the other Eevees said something else. Or at least they decided to mess with it after the fact

With the explaination done, all seemed to have concluded. It sounded like trouble, but a promise was a promise so they made to leave. That was when Ruby, Dan and Ven arrived at the cave. And if they were there that must mean that the Ursaring problem has been revolved, meaning it was all over now. At least, that's what Lucy decided. Though, it still felt like it concluded a little too easily. Giving Zap a reprieve from explaining, she turned towards them and began explaining the situation. However, with their backs now turned, two of the little Eevees took advantage of that fact and sprinted passed them.

By the time they noticed and turned around, the two little ones had a good sized lead. As the leader took off after them, Lucy and Zap shared a look before deciding to follow after them once more. She was careless, there was more to this than they originally thought but what exactly? "Well, let's find out." she said to no one in particular.

With York remaining oblivious to the mortal struggle going on nearby, the two pokemon started trading off attacks, Ren with quick attack and Dewpider with Bubble. While to them it may appear to be a serious fight, if looked upon through other peoples eyes, it probably looked like a silly fight between children and would simply laugh at them.

After slapping each other around and cursing each other out, they both collapsed on the ground out of exhaustion. Though, even then, they laid on their backs exchanging slow, tired slaps before it slowly came to a stop, leaving both defenseless.

Cursing it's luck, the Sandshrew tried to close it's eyes only to find that it couldn't move. Soon it found itself closing it's eyes for an entirely different matter. As it started feeling drowsy, the Sandshrew made one last desperate attempt to stop it with a Sand-Attack, but alas, it soon found itself falling prey to the Gastly's Hypnosis. With the little mouse pokemon now asleep, it was now wide open.

RIP Edgelord. You're WME (Weapon of Massive Edge) shall be missed.

While she doesn't like to admit it, it remains clear that if it wasn't for Zap, they wouldn't have tracked the Eevees as far as they have. They managed to track them down to a small cave, which seems to be where the Eevees live, if she was to understand Zap correctly. Just as they were about to get closer to investigate, a rowdy looking Eevee, presumably their leader, came out instead to confront them. It made few grunts and growls, that Lucy wasn't able to understand but from the tone, it was clear that they weren't wanted their. Probably a threat.

Though, she was partially correct, while it wasn't exactly a threat, they did want them to leave, if what she understood from Zap was accurate. After following them this far, Lucy had no intention of turning back now. There was still something she didn't get, the Ursaring. Crossing her arms, she looked right at the rowdy looking Eevee. "Tell me what happened with that Ursaring and we'll leave." as well as the berry, the 'race' was still on. Of course, Lucy and Zap didn't tell them that. Now it was up to Zap to translate, she was hoping that it wouldn't lead to a fight, after all, Zap was still hurt.

Sacrificing her golem, she was given additional time for her search. While she was thoroughly searching the courtyard, for a way back into the main building, a Massive surge of power caused her to stop what she was doing. This power was something she was easily able to recognize, fear. It was a fitting power considering the state of the cathedral and one that she was able to quickly pin-point it's location.

Wasting not a second longer, Blair took off in direction of the power surge at full speed, having finally found her target.

While they managed to put the shadow on the defensive, it meant little when the 'shadowy princess' began screaming, which was as strange as the fact that it seemed to be sucking the strength out of them, making their attacks seem much weaker. They were getting nowhere and if this kept up, they'll be in big trouble. During their clash, Megumi seemed to have found a way to defeat this troublesome opponent.

However, due to the brief exchange, she wasn't able to confirm it. Which meant that they had to get it to use it's swords again. Well, that shouldn't be a problem. With them needing a way to negate the effects of the shadows screaming, Rui had ordered Akane, and whoever can, to offset the problem by buffing them. As Sato called forth his persona and casted Marakukaja for defense, Akane called forth her own and casted Matarukaja to increase their offensive power. Raising her Katana once more, she went in on the attack once more.

Hopefully this time Megumi would be able to confirm whatever it was she may have discovered before.
