The Zorua rolled his eyes and almost prepared to transform into Zaru and show himself some gratitude. But then his friend actually did thank him which made him grin.
"Well your welcome. Heh... As if you need to ask. Let's go get em, lead the way Zaru, your officially the team leader" he stated after all it was Zaru's mission and he didn't really know the in depth details about what they was supposed to be doing. He was eager to lend his support however, and for the purpose of sheer intimidation he transformed into his cousin A Flareon.
The Meowstic raises a brow as the Flareon replied, and once she started thinking it was difficult for him to read the surface thoughs as he already had connected to her. '*click* Real we are indeed... But yes, I do know the general shape of a Dwebble, but I it's helpful to know if you noticed any variations from the norm, size difference, cracked shells... Scars... Just in case we run into more than one Dwebble in there it would help us if we knew if it was actually the culprit... After all its unlikely they will carry a sign that say :I did it: ' he replied straight into the Flareons own mind after making a connection tone.
He glanced to Kargool and pointed in the direction the Flareon directed them. '*click* Get ready to head out... ' he said to Kargool by telephacy as well.
The modern world you live in is much like earth, except with the addition of other humanoid races that inhabit's the regions just like normal humans would. They walk on two legs, generally speak a single language and while some have some more special traits its usually nothing that give them a huge advantage over the other races.

As this is a Tabletop, everything will be Led by the (Game Master) Which will be myself of course. And everyone else will be Players.
The game master set the stage, and Players proceed by reaction to these events and take actions accordingly.
(Mostly For the one's New to Tabletop games)
Every Action try to do, or decide to attempt make will have some kind of outcome, and Often Require Dice rolls for successes unless its something so basic that 'We' can assume your character can just 'do it'
A Simple task could be to pick up something small on the ground (Provided it was described to exist there or asked before hand to confirm) You wouldn't need to roll to pick up a small rock, unless your in a hurry for some reason or if its hard to reach.
A Medium difficult task, could be to interact with something that's around you. Such as 'Trying' to do something that cannot be assumed to automatically work for you. We can assume you can walk on flat terrain, but if you try to climb, or just try to open a door you must state that 'you try' to climb or open said door. That's because you can't assume that all doors are unlocked, nor might be able to be opened easily... nor that you could just climb somewhere with ease. We use normal dice rolls for most of these while I can decide if doors are locked, stuck or just swings open as normal.
A Difficult task, could be to take an action related to a cosenquence. Or because of an event that just have happened. Often this reffers to actions you have to take immidetly, such as trying to grab something to prevent a fall, avoid danger, or attempt to force open that door that was 'stuck'.
You often need to put your stats against that difficulty to do something and roll for success.
A Deadly task, Well at this point its about survival. We can assume that most humanoids would be stressed, afraid and/or paniced when really bad things happen that can threaten their very lives. These tasks is what makes the Rp a survival, as if you trigger them your life will be in danger... At this point your at the Mercy of the Dice gods. And usually have to roll with penalties to your rolls.
in the end...
You may also get an advantage or penalty depending on how you write when you attempt actions.
This Brings us to the Stats
This Tabletop uses Seven Core stats that's directly linked to your performance and abilities. These stat's can only 'Increase' from special circumstances. But can 'Decrese' temporarily from events during your adventure.
I Will Refer to your Stat's as 'SPECIAL' from now on ;) And are as following...
Strenght: The ability to lift and carry stuff, as well as to perform tasks that require a bit of muscles such as pushing, pulling and punching.
Perception The Ability to See,Hear,Smell and feel things around you. Its needed to notice or spot things and/or determine what certain things are at a distance or hidden.
Endurance:How 'resistant' you are physically against taking damage and not crumble from hazards that effects your health.
Charisma Affects the ability to command others. Such as interracting with 'Npc' get information or intimidate someone.
Intelligence: Affects your understanding and ability to grasp situations mentally. It also helps you endure Trauma, and effects that tear at your mind such as 'horror' effects.
Agility: Affects your ability to climb, grapple or to balance. It also effects your initiative in dangerous situation and your ability to flee if you need to escape.
Luck:When all else fail, Luck will see that you prevail. Luck is a constant factor in everything, and the only thing that could possibly save you from death when all odds are stacked against you.
So when you encounter a problem when you need roll dices. You roll an amount of six sided (D6) dices equal to the stat that is currently used.
For Simple and Medium Tasks: You will succeed on any amount of 6's rolled. And any other results will be discarded. If no 6's are rolled the roll is considered a failure. (Other characters can be asked to help to make it faster /easier) You can freely try again until you succeed or give up at a penalty of time being spent.
For Difficult tasks: You will need roll at least one 6 result to succeed, but also an additional 6 if you roll any '1's'. Dice's of 1 will be discarded for any retries until you either don't want to roll any longer, don't have enough time to continue... or run out of dices.
For Deadly Tasks: You will need to roll at least one six to not suffer any consequence, but any results of 1 will be considered a failed roll with an instant consequence and if you fail the roll you will suffer additional consequences until you either mange to get out of 'Danger' or run out of dices.
A character in a deadly situation must either manage to escape on their own, or be rescued by others. Failure may lead to character succumbing to the dangers and dying.
And with that out of the way I suppose we can look a bit into who your character is.
Your Main character is a Humanoid at an age of 15+. But its up to you what 'Type' of person you are, such as a Student or teacher/Average Kim/Industry worker/Soldier/etc which can help with different things in a small way such as boosting your chances of survival in certain situations.
You don't necessarily need to be fully human, but you need to have the same structure, bipedal, arms and legs... etc.
The time period is the modern era so swords might be out of place, but guns is not.
Think of the Type of work you have as your character's "Class" For the sake of the Rp, you can create a custom Class if you want, and pick freely between two types of situation where you would get a bonus for it. As well as a item of choice that goes with the class.
A Student or Teacher could get an advantage trying to solve puzzles using intelligence and finding landmarks. (They start with materials that could be used for reading, drawing and researching)
The Avrage Kim is your everyday person that might not do much out of the ordinary, but they can receive a advantage while searching for items of interest, and doing ordinary tasks. (They start with an ordinary items of choice) 'Could be any everyday object within reason)
The Industrial worker is someone who works with heavy lifting and industry, someone who receive a benefit whenever they try to use their body for physical based stuff, Both in Strength and Agility. (Could start with a single choice of tool)
The Soldier is the one that you call when stuff needs killing, they receive a bonus to Survival, finding food, water or stealth. They also knows how to put thos weapons you find to use gaining an advantage to Gun usage. (They have 2d6 Ammunition and starts with a Pistol '+2 to hit rolls')
^^ Well if you made it this far, I assume your Eager to Get your pen out and start hammering out your character.
(As usual with Tabletop's its A bit more work to start then it is to play)

As his idea of showing the girl the importance of not exploiting a Pokémon center whenever you ran into a bit of trouble, and Especially not when one was having trouble with their economy was 'whatever sauce'd'. Kero gave the girl a head start as he said nothing and packed back up.
When he reached the Pokémon center himself he went into the right and leaned towards the wall as she didn't seem to want to listen to him anyway which made trying to strike a conversation useless. She also seemed to bed to busy chatting up others to be worth his time at this moment.
They seemed to have just about left as she laughed to his mention of a code name, sure other people probably called it a 'Nickname or pet-name' but for Kero himself it was more of a code name for more reasons than the most obvious one. "I like it shaken, not stirred..." he replied and chuckled slightly himself as he caught onto the Spy movie thing, it was actually not such a bad cover up either... if she was fine with thinking of him as a spy movie nerd it was something that would greatly benefit him in the long run.
Then they headed off, and seemed to end up on a beach near the ocean when Sophia started to look around and thought that she would find something precious within the ten first minutes they actually spent there. Kero rolled his eyes at this, he didn't really mind being here on the beach, especially not with a lady at his side... it was almost like a first date of sorts. But Kero didn't really disturb her, he watched her go about her business and found that it was qutie interesting to watch her getting all hyped up and disappointed over finding a bottle cap. He walked up behind the two of them and gently picked up the bottle cap once more, giving it a few twirls in his hand as he held it up towards the light.
He then chuckled slightly "Oooh... a Soda pop cap from the plantium edition, that's very rare... " he said as he put it into his pocket after snapping a photo off it, he intended to sell it to a collector for some real cash. He then glanced to Sophia again "I bet I could get a thousand for this cap of yours... but really, if you want to borrow my dowsing device you could just ask you know" he said and chuckled slightly...
By this point however the two of them seemed to get themselves into trouble with a local Starmie, it made Kero facepalm slightly as he watched them get all hyper once more and almost get drenched by its water type attacks... he watched the rather straight forward fight, it was not very graceful to say the least... it was lucky for them that the Starmie happened to be weak enough for them to overpower it. "That... was interesting... " he mentioned, which was probably the nicest thing he could say about such a sloppy battle. A Gym battle would be far away from this girl's grasp, but in a way it was something she had to find out for herself.
Kero raised a brow towards her mention of needing to return to the pokémon center, "No. We shall not bail to the pokémon center just yet Sophia... what we should do is to take a break... come on" he said as he suddenly took the lead to what looked like a campsite on the beach, there he attached a rope to two poles and pulled out a towel. "Hang your clothes up to dry, it won't take long in this sunlight. And let Gothita back out... as she haven't' fainted yet you should give it an healing herb or berry" he said as he put some wood on the camp fire and then glanced to Dusty. "Dusty... Hellfire!" he called out causing the Eevee to leap up in the air and growl slightly at the logs, and in that moment Kero lit it ablaze with his lighter.
He then laughed slightly as he sat down. "First rule of adventuring... always come prepared" he said as he kicked back and waited for the fire to settle down a bit.
