You awaken from darkness, laying on your back upon a cold layer of concrete; somewhere on a rooftop with rain drops landing on your face. A deafening ringing plays out within your head, ears screaming with agony as a flurry of blinding red strobes shine down upon your face. As the ringing begins to fade, you scan your surroundings with confusion. Who are you? You can't remember, only fragments: The City of Eris, The Year 2087, your famil? No.. There's nothing there, the only company you have is a lone security drone flying around you, watching you with radiant red lights. Someones watching you, but who? 

Your body trembles and shakes as you attempt to rise to your feet, a pain erupts from within your spine bringing a sharp headache to strike you like a fork of lightning. You wince with uncomfortable pain as a high pitched ring fills your head, a static follows it, this can't be normal? It's almost as if your brain was part machine, or... Is it? 

With a grunt you pull yourself to your feet as the static suddenly cuts out from within yourself, and a sudden angelic chorus of female vocals calls to you, her voice almost soothing and relaxed, a welcome comfort in comparison to the hellish machine noises that came before.

"Hey?! Hey!.. Listen to me! You're in danger, they wiped your memory and they are coming for you right now, I'm here to help you." The girl said with a relaxed sincerity; who is she? What's the danger and who are 'they'? 

"You can call me Cell, you can trust me, I'm plugged into your implants and I'm watching you from that drone above you, here, you'll need this." She'd say as the drone would float closer, opening a storage compartment and dropping a rather large, high powered mass-driver revolver to your feet. It's fully loaded, you have six shots.  

You pick it up, you feel confused, you've never used a gun before? Or have you? You begin to remember.. You cock the futuristic revolver as you hear a rushing of footsteps coming up to the roof from bellow. Adrenaline builds up within your stomach, as it gets closer. "OK.. There's five armed guys coming up! Get ready!" The mysterious girl would shout. 

Perhaps after this you could finally get some answers? All you knew deep down was your instinct to defend yourself, and if this girl is willing to help you, perhaps she will explain what the hell is going on.

You narrow your eyes and raise the gun towards the door as it suddenly blows open...

Hello everyone! Thank you for checking out this interest check for my new RP!

This roleplay story will focus around the relationship between a mysterious girl and your character, a man that can't remember who he is or anything other than the ability to defend himself, he's highly skilled in firearms, martial arts and also appears to have post-human abilities due to his extensive augmentations making him effectively a cyborg. The story focuses around the mystery of your own history, who are you? Why are you being hunted and who is this girl that's helping you and why? These are questions that will be unveiled and explained over time as the story progresses. 

In a way, yes, this is a futuristic Jason Bourne. 

This story will play out like it's a TV show with episodes, there will be several chapters/seasons and will include music and graphics to help further illustrate this feel and style. I'm a creative writer and enjoy making things visually pleasing and interesting to look at. I will drive the narrative along but you of-course have the freedom to tackle things any way you wish, you can choose the look and basics of your character, you have that freedom but his history is down to me to decide however I'm happy to discuss the details of this with you! Throughout this story your character will meet an array of side characters, make friends and enemies and explore the city of Eris, a gritty cyberpunk utopia ruled by corporations.

Within this roleplay I'm looking for:

Someone that is active, I'd like at-least a post every 2 days, I'm really active so I'll have a post up soon after you do.

A person that is comfortable with mature themes, this roleplay will include violence, drugs, profanity and basically anything that could happen for real, this is a mature story.

I'd love it if you were a creative yet realistic individual, art and music is something that I love to be used as a reference when reading so feel free to make this RP your own! 

If you are interested please send me a PM! Afterwards I will delve in deeper to the universe with you and give you a detailed explanation about the city, the people and the overall history of the city and the universe so you can better understand what you are becoming a part of.
