Blaise sighed in relief when the Cipher members were all down. They had seemed to have won. She felt goosebumps all over her from watching the snag machine being used to capture the Metagross. The man with the Houndoom then questioned anyone if they knew who these people were. Blaise blinked a few times in amazement. He doesn't know who they are? Is he serious? He must not be from around here then... Then right at that moment, Blaise noticed that the Cipher goon that was commanding Metagross and Alakazam earlier was currently trying to sneak away on a hover bike.

"Dratini stop him from escaping!" Blaise ordered in haste. Dratini flung herself toward the goon and restrained him by wrapping herself around his legs. The goon face-planted hard into the ground.

My savior! Haha. Hmm, I think it would be better story-wise if not everyone has a Snag Machine at first.

Okay lol, yeah I guess that would make it more interesting.
By the way Wolfy, were you referring to shadow ball or dark pulse (Gen 4)? Because I don't think there's a move called shadow pulse.. xD

I'm not posting because my character is stuck in the middle of nowhere. I'll wait for you guys to finish your battle and hopefully someone will pick him up on the way back to a city/town.

Blaise will pick you up. xD

Oh, but wouldn't it be better if you got the snag machine from the bartender? Since Gonzap is here too. You could just be like one of those dehydrated wanderers who finally makes it to the Outskirt Stand by chance after the battle is over... Or something like that. Just a suggestion. :P
As the Metagross used Shadow wave, Blaise knew for sure it was a Shadow Pokemon. Cyndaquil withstood the attack and maintained his battle stance, but Dratini was knocked back several feet. "Tch!" She clicked her tongue and braced herself for the psybeam. The leader of Team Snagem's Armaldo intercepted the attack but seemed to have been drained of it's energy. Before commanding again, the girl with the Bagon from earlier wobbly limped outside and joined the battle. Is she okay...?" Blaise thought to herself, taking her mind off the battle for one second before returning.

"Cyndaquil, use dig! Dratini! Try to confuse the Alakazam with water pulse!" She ordered and continued to observe as the other Pokemon who joined the battle also attacked. More and more people were joining the battle. Suddenly her eyes were caught on a machine attached to the arm of the boy from earlier in the Outskirt Stand. "A snag machine...?"

Also, made a post. (Got the battle started, hope the Metagross and Alakazam don't beat up my Pokemon xD)
A girl entered the Outskirt Stand, struggling to carry a Bagon. Why doesn't she just put it in it's Pokeball? Blaise thought to herself and shrugged. Suddenly she noticed the Bagon appear next to her and try to reach the counter. Blaise tilted her in confusion and understood that it's stubby paws were aiming for her glass of water. She giggled and placed the glass on the floor in front of it. The Bagon seemed content and began sipping some water.

"Cipher!" The boy from earlier looked out the window and yelled. Blaise immediately spun her head toward the outside and saw the scene unfold. While overhearing the conversation, she came to a realization that the tall figure who has just left was the leader of Team Snagem. Whatever is left of it at least... The unrest would not calm in her heart and the adrenaline began to flow. As soon as one of the Cipher members sent out a Metagross and Alakazam, Blaise leaped off her seat and dashed outside.

"HOLD IT!" Blaise yelled as she sent out her Cyndaquil and Dratini. Her sudden appearance startled the Cipher members, and without giving them a chance to respond, she commander her attacks.. "Cyndaquil! Use Flame Wheel on that Metagross!" She ordered and then turned to Dratini. "And you use Shock Wave on Alakazam!" Cyndaquil instantaneously spun toward Metagross in a fiery ball and Dratini launched a shock wave at Alakazam.
As Blaise turned away from the small pond, she noticed someone appear from the corner of her eye and unintentionally went into a defensive position. A Houndour approached her, but stopped halfway when it was suddenly surprised by its own reflection. Blaise slowly returned to her normal stance and watched the Houndour curiously as it seemed just as confused as herself. Suddenly the Houndour began to speak.

"I'm... I'm Zaraph?" She stated her name, however it seemed as if she was questioning her own accuracy. Blaise was slightly surprised at Zaraph. She seems harmless enough... Blaise thought to herself and smiled slightly at the fact that she wasn't an intimidating Houndour who was going to attack her.

"I'm Vulpi-... Er... Blai-... Wait, no... Yes? I think I'm Blaise..." Blaise began to jumble up her own words after pulling out what seemed to be her name from a faint memory. She noticed Zaraph was standing a few feet away from her and stepped closer. Blaise glanced around at the other Pokemon and concluded that they had all just experienced the same thing, or at least something similar. After turning back towards Zaraph, she knew asking of their current situation would be pointless. But it wouldn't hurt to try I guess.

"Um, do you happen to know what exactly happened earlier and what our current situation is?" Blaise was meaning to ask about the Alakazam as well however she decided to hold it off for now.
Blaise silently watched as the mysterious figure walked in and spoke some unfamiliar phrases to the bartender. She waited quietly while sipping her glass of water and watched the two converse for a moment. After they shook hands goodbye, the figure left the Outskirt Stand. Blaise gulped down some water before speaking.

"So what was that all about? Who was that?" She asked with her never-ending curiosity. The bartender shook it off and gave a smile.

"Don't worry about it, you're still my number one deliverer." He bluntly replied and then went back to wiping off glasses. Blaise pouted a bit but then figured she should allow him his privacy. I didn't mean it that way, but okay... I wonder what they meant about a Skarmory flying at dawn. She thought to herself.
A sharp pain was felt at the moment of a flash, and Blaise began to slowly regain her consciousness. As her eyes fluttered open, everything felt unreal. She was confused and shut her eyes again tightly, trying to remember anything. The way her body felt was strange and unfamiliar. Blaise began to squirm around for a couple of seconds and pushed herself up on two feet unintentionally by habit, just to lose balance and fall once again on her back.

What... What's going on...? Is this a dream? She thought to herself, struggling to learn how to control her sudden change of movements. Once she was back up, she realized that her body required her to stand on four feet.

Wait a second... These aren't... Blaise trailed off as she glanced down and noticed reddish-brown, stubby paws. "What is this?!" She questioned aloud. Blaise frantically began scanning the scene around her and noticed Pokemon everywhere. An Alakazam was visible from the corner of her eye and it was spouting some sort of nonsense. That was when Blaise walked closer and noticed the Alakazam was speaking. She suddenly fell back from shock and shook her head.

I can't remember very much as of now, but I'm pretty sure Pokemon aren't supposed to know how to talk..! That was when something suddenly hit her mind. Could it possibly be? The different body shape, colored paws, and sudden enlargement of the area around her is just an explanation that Blaise was a Pokemon. However she can't tell whether she was always a Pokemon or not due to her memories being hazy. Blaise turned and noticed a small pond near by. She quickly, and wobbly, made her way closer to the water and looked down at her reflection.

"I'm a... Vulpix...? Have I always been a Pokemon...?" Blaise began to feel a recurring dizziness and pulled herself away from the reflection. She decided she should try and interrogate the Alakazam or at least another Pokemon of her current situation and whereabouts.
