Berlioz was jerked awake when his head bumped just a little too hard on the window. Cracking his eyes opened with a noise of annoyance, he looked with slitted eyes over to his sister. She had been sleeping as well, and her pale white hair had become flattened on one side from leaning against her suitcase. She had slid over when the car had taken a sharp turn, flopping onto him and causing him to slide himself and thunk his head on the unforgiving glass.
"Toulouse! Mum told you to drive because she thought you'd be responsible. Not try to kill us!" Pushing his confused and still sleepy sister off of himself, he adjusted the headphones that had slid off his head.
His brother grinned back at the in the rear view mirror, eyes light with amusement. "Aw Berlioz, I am responsible! But, I'm also excited to get back to school. For the first time, I'm not boarding with you!" Laughing at the offended expression on his brothers face, he resumed looking at the road, lest he get told off again.
Berlioz rolled his eyes at his brother's antics and resumed looking out the window. It was true however, that they weren't boarding together this year. It had been his decision, because he just couldn't put up with the constant noise and mess, especially when most of his projects needed silence for him to fill it with his own music. The school soon appeared on the roads horizon, and all three of them seemed to straighten up a little at the sight.
With the car parked, they all heaved out their bags, Marie spotting her friends and running over with a squeal, pink suitcase rattling behind her. Toulouse saluted Berlioz, before turning to greet his friends. Alone at last, with nothing but the loud chatter of greetings being exchanged, he turned on his playlist and turned towards administration.
