Things you should keep in mind about my RP...

1) If you need me to post, PM me. My memory is awful.
2) No matter how much I may love the source material, I will not join an RP if the Interest Check, IC, or OOC has too many posts. I am not reading all of that. If you want me to join, PM me a summary.
3) I won't even read source material in the Interest Check or OOC sections if the IP is, like, super convoluted, long, or snobbishly formatted. Keep that shit IC. Give me clear and concise posts or I'm gone. I dont have all day to sort through your five different fonts and your 17 paragraphs of setup.

@Assallya@Lady Selune

D'ren sighed and ignored both his general and the mistress as he turned to his pet. "Uh, why would we waste perfectly good metal? Take it to the Fortress of Doom blacksmith and have him turn it into weapons. Duh."

He ruffled the girl's hair with an adoring smirk, and then turned and glowered at both the Voice of Doom and Assallya. "Shut up. Both of ya. Send a platoon of cannonfodder to Giton Village and... get on outta here."

The Infamous laughed evilly as his marvelous pun.

no i have not read it. but D'ren (the one in charge of Malevora) is human who is pretty much Luci's second-in-command... so i do know the premise. but how he got there is for IC lol
D'ren was amazed when a familiar sight - that of a whirling black portal - appeared behind the man "helping" him. Out stepped a loyal friend, Vorshal the Wraith. The Wraith walked over and shoved the boy aside before kneeling by D'ren.

"Vor! Buddy!" D'ren exclaimed with subdued exuberance. "I knew ye guys would come!" Vor healed D'ren's wounds by simply waving his hands over him. D'ren blinked. "Ye don't have that kinda power."

In a deep, otherworldly tone that reverberated in the walls of the wagon, Vorshal said, "All will be explained! But first, come with me."

The two stood and walked through the portal. It vanished.

@t2wave"For the love of God, yes!" was an outburst that did not occur.

The captain, however, had to clear his throat and pretend like he was considering it for a moment before answering, "Uh, Yes please E-1."

He'd shortened ECAI-01 to E-1 because he wasn't very fond of long abbreviations, and his memory wasn't exactly the greatest. Elijah would've called her just "One", if he didn't occasionally jokingly call Zenith "Number 1." That would just be too confusing.

Although he'd been serving with Zenith for a few months, Captain McDonnell was not at all sure his XO liked him. Like most people on the Empirion, the bridge crew showed their commanding officer the respect of his rank, but that didn't mean they liked working with him. And the few people (mostly civilian contractors) who didn't bother showing McDonnell any respect seemed to him to be a breath of fresh air known as "honesty," something rarely seen in military units. Elijah inwardly groaned as he recalled threatening to demote a man for sucking up too much.

Despite the stress of his first command, Captain McDonnell looked forward to getting into the thick of things, whatever that entailed. He wanted this mission to be over quickly, though, so he could go back to patrolling some unclaimed sector of space. But he was also looking forward to talking to a counselor again. He just hoped he or she was an easy person to get along with.

As a man who abhorred unneeded conflict, it was often a shock to his crew or friends when he engaged in it, verbal or physical. However, he was never one to back down from his beliefs. And sometimes, Elijah had to remind himself that counselors - at the end of the day - have a job to do, and they get paid to do it. So when their discussions got too combative, Elijah would just stop going to therapy altogether. Some did not care about helping him, or anyone, just the paycheck.

This was why Elijah was so shocked to be given a command; usually it's the people who put on an act for their superiors and subordinates who get the jobs, not those who can actually lead. Not that he was a great leader- he'd only had the job a few months, and his leadership skills up until then had been little better than average. But there was one thing that did separate him from other leaders: he cared about people, especially those who served under him. And he felt like that would be the driving force behind success.
ive been away a couple days trying to deal with GM and co-GM and worldbuilding issues, and real life stuff, but today i will try to read up on what ive missed
i dont think there is a posting order, and i think Kiwi has been busy or away or something (most of the GMs I'm involved with have disappeared or something). its hard to do something when the person interviewing you is just standing there watching everyone do their own thing. maybe we're waiting for the interviewer? ive been away a couple days
@BlackPanther perhaps just have half of the tattoos able to come to life? probably not the uber-powerful ones?
