physical appearance
A natural brunette, Kashi has been known to constantly dye her hair. However, she seems to have settled on a soft pale blue since her freshman year. Her hair is definitely a statement piece with it’s unique color. Her pin-straight hair falls till a couple inches above her hips and frames her face and body perfectly. Her face is angular and slightly heart-shaped. Her pale grey eyes pierce through a curtain of blue and are set beautifully against her brown lashes and eyebrows. She has full rosebud lips of a light pink which are almost always curled into a smile or a smirk. She is long and slim with almost no curves to her name, much to her chagrin.
A big portion of her appearance is tied into her clothing and fashion choice. Growing up poor, Kashi was forced to thrift and tailor her own clothing. In the beginning, she absolutely hated thrifting but eventually she fell in love with fashion and loves twisting old pieces into fresh looks. Her style, in a couple of words, is simple and clean. Never one to shy away from color, Kashi loves being daring and interesting with her clothing choices.

-✶ IN DEPTH ✶
personality
Kashi is always full of energy and determination. Her loyalty and sardonic humor endear her to her friends but her drive and uncompromising attitude can often come as a shock to many people. She is a bit of a perfectionist who loves to be in control and in charge of her life and it’s direction. With an eye for detail and a deeply intellectual background, it comes as no shock that Kashi is smart. Her British accent also aids in furthering her reputation as a smart, and capable girl.
She is a bit reserved to people she has never met and to outsiders it can be hard to distinguish whether she likes them or hates them. She also reaches lofty goals and is always pushing herself to do more. She believes that she is lucky to be here and therefore tries her best to take part in all activies to do them to the best of her ability.

superpower
Artistic Animation: She technically has the ability to bring inanimate objects to life and have full to partial control over those animations. The animations have their own sentience but she can exert a degree of control over them. As she grows in strength, her control and the amount of time she can animate the illustrations increases. However, right now her skills are quite rudimentary and as such, she can only animate for a period of about 10 minutes. She can either bring to life one single animation for the entire 10 minute period or, at most, 2 animations (one then the other) for the 10 minutes.
She can animate any drawings, illustrations and sketches. However, as of right now she can only animate things that she herself drew. There are some issues with her current animation. When brought to life, these illustrations often do not hold the qualities that she creates them for. Example: she draws Cerberus in order to attack a villain however, as Cerberus animates, he comes as a meek puppy. Not entirely helpful when fighting. Additionally, as she is still learning, she doesn’t have much control over the animations and so they are relatively uncontrollable as long as she keeps them animated.

backstory
Her parents are both Albanian-Kosovan but, during the late 90’s fled to the UK after the conflicts between the Serbian-Kosovan and the Albanian-Kosovan. Kashi was born and brought up in London until the age of 13 when her parents relocated to New York. At the beginning, she hated New York City. But over time has grown to love NYC. Her mother is a Professor of Slavic Studies, Comparative Literature at Columbia University and her father is an associate at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz.
When the virus came, it attacked her. Hard. Kashi swore she was dying. For weeks she was stuck in a limbo between light and darkness as her skin turned feverish and her body could hold neither water nor food for almost two months. Then one day, the virus broke. She woke up, hungry and with boundless energy to see the faces of her tired and distraught parents. She also woke up with random powers. She had been brushing her teeth when all of a sudden her toothbrush disappeared. That was a shock. Over time she realized that her powers were random and appeared whenever they wanted, but most especially when she was feeling deeply emotional.
After the jubilation she felt after she realized that neither she nor her family had died, she took stock of the city. With her family, she started volunteering at many of the shelters. Survivors guilt people said. But she just thought that it was her duty. Her family was one of the lucky ones.
