I can hear Cordelia's voice in my head, commenting on Red and Jake being roommates:

"The Suits are living together...it wouldn't surprise me if they fucked each other...after all, rich people are gay..." :P
Red Winston

The one-armed man that passed by Red somewhat confused him. He looked like a bearded mummy, his clothes worn out, seemingly not changed for over a decade, but he could get the smell of shampoo from him. Why on earth would a cave man smell like shampoo? What was even stranger was that he approached Henry, who in turn looked very happy to see him. The man certainly piqued his interest, but right now, he had to focus his attention to Poppy, who was apparently still hungry.

With the Valos family taking off the table the possibility of hanging out with Jake, the second canditate for a social approach was gone. That reduced Red's options to either going to Henry's table or leaving the Cafeteria and head to the Administration room to pick their rooms. He told about the options to Poppy.

"Sure, get something to eat, then we can do whatever you choose (from the above options), or something else, if you do have something in mind..."

Christopher Fox

Chris was sure that Henry's hug would break some of his ribs if he went on with it. He had a hard time with Henry strength when his body was still in his prime, let alone now that he had a fraction of the endurance he had in the past and the fact that Henry was considerably stronger than twelve years ago. He was really happy that Henry accepted him so open-heartidely, even introducing him to his other friends. Not wanting his friend's generous offer go to waste, he replied:

"Dana, Teresa, nice to meet you...By the way, I am technically still a first year, so don't bother treating me as a senior. Due to some..." he paused for a few seconds, "...circumstances, I haven't ever passed my first year..." he said with a low voice, hesitant to reveal the fact that he was the one responsible for the deaths of some students some years ago.

Trying to change the topic, Chris said to Henry:

"I should follow your advice and get something to eat. As far as I remember, the french fries of the Cafeteria were like the World's 8th wonder. Besides, I am going to need all the energy I can get, if I want to challenge you in the Arena again sometime. We were pretty much equal in the past, but, right now, I bet you could beat me with your hands tied to your tail!" he said, trying to joke around.

"I am going to get some food and come back...I will also try the champagne, I always wanted to taste alcohol. Be right back!" he said and headed to get some food.
Soap opera alert!!
Red Winston

Red noticed Poppy's hesitation in touching his hand, along with the small gricace when she did so, but he didn't say anything.

"She probably smelled the cigarette smell. From her fingers, it is easy to deduce that she doesn't smoke and her smell and clothes indicate strict cleanliness. It is probably uncomfortable for her to hold my hand...Should have noticed earlier." was what run through his head.

He pretended he was thirsty and let her hand in order to fill a clean glass with water, not giving his hand back again, to relieve Poppy. He didn't want to put pressure of her when the reason he first spoke to her was to make her less tense.

He saw his idea going to waste when Nikki and Amanda took off and headed who-knows-where. With Amanda, it wouldn't surprise him if they wanted to swim back to America and back or something along those lines. He calculated all the possible candidates that could match Poppy's profile, but he couldn't find anyone available, with Jake being with Gabe, Henry in another table and Nikki heading out. Of course his calculations were rushed because it would seem akward if he just stayed motionless to enter his Brain Hall to make a thorough analysis.

"Think quick, quick, quick!" Red thought, his brain running at full speeds.

Finally he could only come up with this:

"Well, we are pretty much unlucky. So that leaves us with two options. Go after the girls that just left, which I already know are good people, or try our luck with a new group, if you are feeling lucky enough! I am also open to any other option you may come up with! Just tell me what you would like to do and I come along!" Red said, trying to encourage Poppy by giving her the freedom to decide.

That's when a strange, one-armed man entered the Cafeteria.

Christopher Fox

Twelve years. Twelve years of solitude and now he decides to go back to the Academy. It would probably be the last time he lived in the wilderness of the artifical forest that surrounded the Academy. It would almost be nostalgic, if it wasn't for the reason he lived there in the first place.

Realizing he would go back, Christopher Fox tightly grabbed the place where his missing arm would normally be. He was still relutant to go, but, this time, things were different. Henry was assigned as a teacher there, someone strong, someone Chris aknowledged. A former classmate and a valued friend. And he hoped that Henry would still consider him a friend, too, after the incident that is. He was now at the top of the cliff nearest to the Academy, taking one last look of it from afar, since he would now be living in it once again. He didn't know how long it would take for someone to graduate the Academy, since he abandoned it on his first year, but he figured that most of the classmates he had should already be gone, making Henry, some of the oldest members of the Academy and a few others the only ones who knew who he was. For all the others, he would just be a stranger. He walked down the cliff steadily. He didn't have the power in his legs to run, due to his atrophic muscles, which allowed him only small actions. Taking his time he was now by the front doors.

The school didn't change much from when he was a student, so he knew where to go, since this was the first day. The senior students once claimed that Dellamore makes the same entrance ceremony every year, so everyone should be in the Cafeteria by now. His first destination, however, was different. He headed to the Gym. He had to take a shower, or the other students would die from his odor and he wouldn't bet on the staff to not have given his former room to someone else. Not a chance he wanted to take. The Gym showers were open, even though the Gym itself was not. Searching a bit, he found shampoo, probably from one of the students who had to rush to attend to the entrance ceremony, or be late. It was the first time in years that he had a proper bath, which also answered his question, whether his skin was tanned because he was burnt, or because he was dirty, confirming that the first actually stood true. It was also the first time he looked at himself in the mirror. White hair mixed with black, probably because of fatigue and harsh conditions. He was so skinny that he looked like a mummy and the missing arm made matters even worse. He even wondered if he was dead and this was a result of another superpower he had. He got rid of the idea rather quickly, though. He also needed to shave, but safety razors are strictly personal and didn't want to use one that wasn't his own.

Unshaved and with long hair, someone would swear that it was Tom Hanks as the castaway from the movie of the same name, who was washed up at the shore of the Academy. Except he wasn't as handsome as Tom Hanks. The only difference between the two was that Chris was now clean. Other than that, his appearance and his worn out clothes made him an exact replica of a real castaway. With that appearance he went into the Cafeteria.

On his way, he saw two girls exiting the Cafeteria, one of them pretty shaken up. In the past, he would just pop out of nowhere to cheer her up, but now he wasn't in that mood. He didn't seem to recognise either of them, but, after twelve years, he wouldn't be able to tell if he knew them or not. Concentrating on his main purpose, finding Henry, Chris stepped inside the Cafeteria, causing a small reaction to some of the first years and some of the seniors too. Not something huge, like the whole banquet suddenly turning silent, but some people who noticed him coming in couldn't help but whisper about his frail appearance and missing arm to their fellow friends and classmates. Not that it mattered to him.

He slowly rolled his eyes from one side to the other, until he found the only person he knew he would recognise in a glance. With the exception of being considerably taller and bulkier, he knew that the lizard-looking fellow he saw was Henry.

"He looks as intimidating a lizard as he was when I first met him..." he commented in his mind, ready to burst into tears.

Composing himself, he walked towards the table Henry was sitting. He approached him hesitantly, after all, Chris didn't know if he would recognise him too and even if he did, would he be mad about the incident twelve years ago? Did he even know Chris was coming back? He was about to find out with Henry's reaction to his gentle touch on his shoulder, along with the phrase he muttered in a weak voice:

"Hey, buddy...I am back..."
Corrected...ready for my second audition!
Can I change it to a quarrel in the shipwreck going wrong? I guess that the shipwreck should be ok!?
Also updated my relationship section about the Valos family, Nikki, Amanda, Henry, Poppy and Cordelia. Also introduced a new character and awaiting confirmation.
"Keep it...so the next time you feel depressed, you will remember that at leasyt you have a friend...of course you might need to wash it first. And you have cute name, Poppy! Pleased to meet you too!" Red replied in an encouraging tone.

Experiencing pain was something that occured quite a few times in his life, even worse when he was forced to remember it for life. So at least he could make others feel at ease whenever he could help it.

"I am aware that someone from the group over there miht have hurt you in a way or another, but I am pretty much sure that all of these guys are good deep down. Of course there are people that I still haven't talked to yet, but we won't find out unless we go over there again. The girl over there is called Nikki and from what I know she is friendly. Now, I am pretty much sure that you would prefer a female friend during your stay here, so why don't we join the others and give her a chance to get to know you? You two will certainly gget along!", he said to her and offered his hand.
Name: Christopher Fox
Nickname/Alias/Etc: Chris
Gender: Male
Age: 23
Height: 1,78
Weight: 52 kg
Status: Returning Student
Appearance

Hair Color: Black with White Hair here and there
Eye Color: Blue
Ethnicity: English
Physical Appearance: Christopher is a tall man, slim to his height, almost atrophic. He has some frickles on his face, but not too many. Living most of his time in seclusion, Christopher's face features have become rough and ugly, but someone with vivid imagination would know that he would be considered cute if he put on some weight. The most distinguishing feature of his is the fact that he misses his right arm. His hair is messy, long and not been taken care of for a long time. The only thing that still retains its beauty is his deep blue eyes, but it is hardly enough to make up for the rest of his appearance. His skin is tanned, burnt from the prolonged exposure to the sun (or maybe because he didn't have a bath for years). There are many scars on his other hand and a large scar that covers his back, from the left shoulder to little above his right hip.
Attire: T-shirts, or other light clothes, but his favorite option are Hawaii-styled short-sleeved shirts.
Personality

Outward & Innate Personality: By the time he joined the Academy, Christopher was an overzealous and extremly extroverted person. He could easily make friends, which he always stood up for and he was always honest to everyone. He never declined to help someone and he would go to extreme actions to make the others happy, even if he had to goof more than his dignity allowed him to. That's why he was equally loved by his fellow classmates in the Academy or his other friends before it. He hated slacking and always tried his best in everything he did, although he wasn't always at it. His grades were satisfying, but his moments of glory had always been team sports, in which he would always be the heart and soul of his team. However, this zeal of his was what changed him completely. Due to an incident at the academy (details at History), he secluded himself from everyone, abandoning the Academy and living alone in one of the most deserted spots of the island. The shock from the accident has affected him in dramatic ways. He is afraid of hurting people, that's why he avoided them for twelve years and he now refuses to try hard, because of the incident mentioned above. He occasionally suffers from nightmares and he sometimes speaks to himself. Deep down however, there is still a trace of his old self and that's the reason he abandoned seclusion after all these years and decided to return to the Academy.
Skills/Talents: His time in seclusion made Christopher a proficient hunter and explorer. He is able to distinguish footprints of normal animals in a glance and knows the wilderness of the island like the back of his hand. In the past he was a natural at goalkeeping. He also enjoyed playing drums, but didn't practice too much to be good at it.
Quote(s): "Your hands aren't dirtier than mine..."
Prized Possession: A screw.
History/Bio: Christopher was born in the slums of England. He was the oldest of a small group of children and their protector. From a young age he developed his "team" personality because of them. It was his outgoing nature the reason he found a family to accept him and the other children. An old couple living in Liverpool accepted them and raised them as their own, despite their financial difficulties.

He discovered his powers at the age of ten, when he was playing in a construction site and he instictively stopped a collapsing part of it's steel frame. Realizing he had some sort of magnetic abilities, he decided to improve his control over them, until he reached a level where he could at least consciously use his powers. He never told anyone of his powers, preffering not to cause an uproar with them. That was until he received an invitation to attend to Academy 218, twelve years ago.

Gladly accepting the invitation, Chris arrived at the Academy, befriending many people. However he was especially close to Henry, whom he found a really cool guy despite his lizard-like exterior. Quickly blending with the students, Chris participated in activites, tried his hardest to pass the lessons, despite his difficulties in learning and of corse improving with his abilities.

At some point, he wouk occasionaly hang out with others in the shipwreck. It was in one of his visits there that changed his life. In s quarrell against a senio, Chris, never going easy, tapped to his full power, without having the proper control over them. Pulling some of the ship's supports, he took d8wn a part of it, resulting in the deaths of 11 students, severe injuries to many others and him losing his arm. That day was called the "Doomsday in the Wreck", a story that some of the older students and the staff still remember clearly.

After recovering and devastated from what he did, Chris ran away from the school and moved into the most secluded depths of the island, holding only a loose screw he had taken from the shipwreck that day. The huge shock of the consequences of his actions forced him to subconsciously put mental blocks to his powers, rendering him unable to lift anything heavier than a single screw. Suffering from daily nightmares, the only thing that kept him sane was his guilt that by losing his mind, he would be getting away pretty easily for what he did. As such, he suffered alone for twelve years, with some staff from the school watching over him discreetly.

Twelve years later, he was informed by a visiting member of the staff that his friend and former classmate, Henry, would be a teacher in the Academy, prompting him to return, hoping that Henry would be the only one capable of keeping him under control.

Family: His foster parents and siblings.

Powers

Power Class: Energy 8 (Currently 1)
Power: Electromagnetic fields

When capable of using his powers normally, Christopher has the power to produce electromagnetic fields and to pull or repel ferromagnetic materials (such as iron, steel etc). He can also use his magnetic fields as shields against ferromagnetic projectiles, such as bullets. By forcing his powers to the most extreme, he can also affect matter in a molecular level, although he can do that on really small objects and only to ferromagnetic materials. The range of his ability and the weight he can control vary with his control, but, before the accident he could consciously control ferromagnetic objects with a total weight of 200 kg in a 300 meter radius.

Weaknesses/Limitations/Drawbacks: As with a normal magnet, temperature affects his powers. Heat lessens his powers, while cold enhances them to a point that he can't accurately control them. His trauma is also directly linked to them, allowing him to only use a fraction of his powers, lifting nothing more that any weight equal to a single screw.

Other: His nervous system is unable to send messages to the brain that indicate cold. He is affected by cold temperatures (he can get frozen, have frostbite, get sick, or even die), but is unable too feel cold itself. (I only added this so that my character can wear only short-sleeved clothes.)
It seems that luck would be on Red's side today, since most of the teachers and staff of the Academy were busy with greeting the first years. Thus he was able to find a good hideout to go on with his not-so-healthy hobby.

He got his small pouch of Van Nelle hand rolling tobacco out, along with rolling papers and slim filters. He was a loyal supporter of both rolling tobacco and Van Nelle, a Dutch brand. After swiftly rolling his cigarette, he quickly lit it with a Zippo lighter of his own and took down a good sip of smoke which went down to his lungs. The word satisfaction was almost visible on his face. Always alarmed for a passing by staff member, he enjoyed the cigarette he craved for hours, also examining his surroundings as he did so. He noticed that the Cafeteria was connected to two buildings, although he didn't have the slightest idea that these were the dormitories. The buildings in the West Wing which he recognized were the gym, the hospital, the shop, the library and a second cafe. He couldn't identify the detention room, the Garden and the tower.

"Talk about resources...So many facilities and the buildings look brand new. Whoever is running this place must be getting really good funds. And why shouldn't he? It's a superpower collection center here. It wouldn't be impossible that students of the Academy could get jobs at governments as agents." Red thought.

He decided to make a recap of all the important information he had about the island. He took down a last sip of his cigarette, put it out with his shoe and closed his eyes, motionless. That's how he entered his memory hall, from which he entered his different memory chambers. Scanning through the chambers, he found all the info concerning the Academy.

"The Academy is surrounded by a wall, probably to protect it's occupants from the wildlife. It is an enormous facility and I am currently certain that it accomodates a gym, a library, a hospital, a shop, an auditorium, an arena, a detention center (from the principal's speech), a reception office, the docks and two cafeterias. It is safe to say that dormitories for the students and staff, classrooms and a place to train one's powers also exist. The Academy's invitation is not limited to age, gender, nationality or personal background, thus one could possibly meet the son of a king to a crook, as long as he had powers, thus the main factor for an invitation being to possess one. The principal's name is Darell Dellamorte, but I don't expect to find any info by Googling him. Conclusion: Estimated percentage knowledge about the academy - hardly 1%. Further information is vital."

After finishing his analysis, Red exited his brain Hall, after storing all the information he currently had to one of the rooms he could quickly access so as to limit the time he needed to access them again in the future.

Not seeing any point in staying alone outside, he decided to go to the cafeteria again. He wasn't gone for that long so the banquet was most probably not finished. Back in the cafeteria, he noticed that Poppy was now at the end of the table the others were, alone.

"Small line across her cheek, the eye being the source, most possibly from a tear. The probability is even higher from the fact that she secluded herself from the others..."

He changed his initial plan to go back to his seat and instead took the handkerchief he had in his suit's chest pocket and politely offered it to Poppy.

"My father always told me that a lady should never cry...So i think you might need this, Miss. And please excuse me for not replying to your earlier gesture. My name is Red."
