Red was amused by Amanda's wish, more so because he was sure that this was what she would ask. He predicted that she would want to make a hierarchical relationship with him, but nonetheless, his own statement was what saved his neck, at least for now. He looked at Amanda's puppy face and laughed. Hard. It was more than he wished for to make his day, especially when he would ruin it.

"Amanda, dear...You should know that I am a man of my word. I have been straightforward my entire life, so I would never say something I didn't mean, even to you. So, with you being straightforward too, even more so than me, I dare say, and you said that the deal I proposed is sealed, without even trying to make any changes to its rules, I will be your bitch, if, and only if, you tell me everything you know about the Academy and, with five years here, I don't think the information you have accounts to only this much. Now, you can go back on your word and not tell me more, but lose the chance to have a dominating relationship over me, or take your time, probably for days, to exhaust even the last bit of info you have and claim you prize. That's why I love the overly logical crap you made fun of...It gives me the edge. Now, go help yourself with the waffles and, if you still wish to make me your pet, let's talk some more..." he said with an ironic and triumphant smile.
I had trouble adjusting Red's ability too Ciphra, but the Allen and the other GM's were helpful enough to guide me. I think that, as long as you focus on their directions, you will come in a conclusion that you will like and will also be acceptable by the bosses. It worked out for me, so why not for you? :D

Not Amanda. Not so early in the morning. It was a torture to start his day talking to her, but at least he had enough coffee to function properly. He figured that she wanted a victim to have some fun with and he was the one to pick the (un)lucky straw. Straightforwara as always, Amanda's topic for the day was Red's interactions with the female students of the Academy. Well, from a normal person's perspective, it would seem that he was hitting on them, but, oblivious as always, he didn't realize that someone would look at it that way until Amanda pointed it out. He had another sip of coffee, after swallowing the last bite of his first toast.

"You couldn't be more wrong, Amanda. I am not in any way trying to form any sort of sexual or love relationship with either your cousin or Poppy. I am not interested in this sort of thing. Relationships of that kind are not productive in any way and, besides that, they require affection and time and I can't provide either of them. On the other hand, both of them and any person I may encounter in the future could be a valued friend, but nothing more. I only loved my father and it resulted in me being broken from his loss. As for the latter statement, even if I was interested in that sort of thing, you would certainly not be my type. I tend to appreciate intellectual people and you are certainly not one." he said in a straightforward tone of his own.

Normally, he would just leave Amanda alone, but it was a great opportunity for him to find out more about the Academy. After all, it was his main reason for coming here and Amanda would probably know a thing or two about the place. Besides, her personality gave him an idea of how to extract information from her, albeit a dangerous one.

"Despite of what I said, I think I can give you an opportunity to get even with my on what I said, in your own, sadistic way. Tell me everything you know about the Academy, from rumors, facts, secrets, anything and everything and I will do anything you ask me. And by anything you ask me, I do mean anything!"

With the stakes placed, Red waited for Amanda's response.

Chris was making progress. He managed to eat a slightly bigger portion of food, without stopping. It was time for him to gain some weight, so it made him especially happy that he managed such a feat. While congratulating himself in his mind, someone else sat on the table. He looked at him for a moment and turned to his plate, before turning again suddenly, realizing that the man was missing an arm as well. He was also surprised to see that the man's tissue was replaced by metal. It was pretty ironic that the man sitting nearby had one arm and was made of a material related to Chris' own powers.

Curiosity overcame Chris. If someone lost his arm at school, Henry would have probably told him, so it must have been an accident outside the school. That was relieving, because for a moment, Chris considered that he might have hurt the stranger in the accident and he came to ask for revenge. He realized that he was staring at the stranger for quite some time. He was probably a teacher, his age indicating so. He decided to not sit by and watch and just talk to the person, as good manners indicate.

"Good morning, sir...Are you a new teacher? I haven't seen you around before. My name is Chris! Nice to meet you!" he said and extending his arm.

Normally, he wouldn't extend his arm before a one-armed man did, but, now, since he was one-armed himself, he figured it wouldn't be a problem.

"I guess we are somewhat lucky to both lose the same arm, otherwise a hand-shake would be impossible..." he added to lighten the mood.

A few moments later, a girl also sat in a nearby table and glanced at them every now and then. Well, it was a strange sight after all. Two disabled guys, one of them looking like Terminator. It wasn't so strange for even the whole school to be curious about them, so he didn't give much thought into it.

Hah InfernoHow does Chris not see the lizard man a whole head and shoulder taller than everyone else standing in the line?

I did think of that, but I added to the equation that he was sitting far from the buffet, thus the line, too and that there were people standing on his field of vision. I also couldn't actually picture someone this big accurately :P

The sound of the siren was something that Red wouldn't forget, even if he didn't possess limitless memory. He could swear that from all the waking up methods humanity has discovered over the years, this was by far the worst. He wished that the sound came from an alarm clock so he could reverently send it to its final destination- out of the window. He was sure that Jake would thank him if that was the case, considering he didn't do the same thing himself. Cursing the more than annoying sound, he lifted his body from his bed and scratched his head. It was 7 sharp. He was still sleepy, having to seperate much of the school's gossip he heard on the boat, the Cafeteria and the Administration Room, forcing him to sleep at around 2am. Sleeping for a few hours affected his brain speed, after all. He once again cursed.

He tidied up his bed, brushed his teeth and checked himself on the mirror. He made an imaginative list of what he had to do before going to the education building.

"Shower, hair-gel, gray vest and pants, blue shirt, black shoes, no tie, out of the room, cigarette, food, coffee, cigarette, lesson."

He was incapable of using more than nouns before having a coffee to wake him up. That applied to when he was talking to someone. Red could be the most insociable person when he was drowsy, a thing that he showed when answering to Jake.

"Cafeteria, later." was what he said to Jake before he left the room.

He followed his schedule exactly as planned, up to the point where he left the room. The difficult part was next. It was 7:30 and Red needed to smoke, but, in contrast to yesterday, the full force of the staff was out there and he was too sleepy to find a place to hide. So much for smoking was what he tried to say to himself, but didn't have the energy to. Once again, he cursed. What Red hated the most was getting out of schedule, especially if there was nothing he could do to get back on track. If he could help it, he would lock every last staff member and teacher for ten minutes, smoke and then let them out again, just to make sure that his plans were not messed up. =

Unfortunate that he couldn't enjoy a cig, he skipped to the Cafeteria. Students have already gathered there and the line to the buffet was long. One more day of him listening to unnescessary gossip, which would subsequently lead to him sleeping less hour to sort it out. There were probably familiar faces in the Cafeteria already, but he didn't try to look for anyone, instead getting a tray with food and coffee and sitting on a random table, not even considering looking if anyone was sitting there or not. The only thing he needed to do now was to wake up. Aside from that, anything else came in second. He took a sip of coffee and a bite off a toast. It was the only thing he could focus on, right now.

Chris woke up at 6:15. He didn't want to risk Valjean waking up while he was in the room, he would most probably be irritating. Chris would most probably have to listen to this oversized gorilla for most of the day, so he didn't want to have to have the same thing happening in his room. For once, though, Valjean didn't wake him up during the night, but it was apparently because he didn't see him sleeping. He might not have come to the room at all for all Chris cared - and hoped. But, to his annoyance, Valjean was on his bed, snoring like a buffalo. Not that he expected less.

It was his Extreme Makeover- Academy 218 Edition day. He had the chance and the tools to take care of himself for once in over a decade. Chris wasn't a man to be concerned with fashion, but he knew how to take care of himself in order to look good, or at least better than he was right now. He combed his hair straight and tied them in a ponytail (like David Beckham a football player he admired) and also cut his beard, making it even and better-looking. He considered shaving, but then, his skinny face would stand out too much. After that, he brushed his teeth, showered and used all the nescessary cosmetics (deodorant, perfume). He also had some clothes in his room. T-shirts, short-sleeved shirts, anything he was normally wearing in the past, probably Henry's doing. His attire today included a pink Hawaiian shirt, jean bermuda shorts and a pair of sandals. Just like the old times. Cold was never an issue for Chris, so he would dress lightly the whole year, even if it meant he would get sick or frostbite. He just didn't feel right with heavy clothing.

After grooming himself, he once again checked the clock. 6:50. Right on time. He left the room, leaving poor Valjean to wake up by the savage and merciless sound of the siren, which was forged in the depths of Hell. He knew first hand how badly the siren sounded. In the past, he was thinking very seriously of using his powers to pluck it out and into the depths of the ocean, a thing that he would have already done if it wasn't for Adam, this damn son of a...he didn't want to finish his thought.

It was 7 o'clock. Chris had already closed his ears, so the siren wasn't as unbearable as it would be if he was sleeping. Not wasting his time, he headed to the Cafeteria, where he was one of the first people to come. The others had just woken up and probably wouldn't be there yet. On the contrary, most of the staff was already awake and eating, much to his dismay. Most of the people knew who he was and what he had done. That made him feel uneasy. He was lucky enough to see Henry among the staff and talk to him or so he thought. Before giving Henry a signal, he was already gone. Not having anyone to talk to, he decided to fill his tray with as much food as he could. Even though his appetite was still miniscule, he thought that since he had a lot of time, maybe he could try to eat some more.

He sat on the furthest table from both the entrance and the buffet, to minimize the chance of someone joining him. He gave much thought about what occured with Vespera yesterday and decided not to open up too much to her in the future. She wanted to be a different woman and he wasn't going to stop her. Besides, he was to vulnerable right now to keep up with her current confidence and character. He would be willing to help her change if she wanted to, but it wasn't the case. From the way Henry spoke to her last time, she had apparently adapted this personality for some time and for her to still retain it, she must have been enjoying it. He considering keeping an eye on her for her safety in secret, but he rejected the idea, remembering that Vespera had a way to know about who was near her. Probably something related to her ability. In any case, he wasn't planning on looking for Vespera today, preffering to ask Henry's opinion on the matter. Henry was always the wise one of the duo, even when it came to love. If he wasn't for the scales, he would probably be Mr. Academy 218. Actually, Chris was pretty much sure that Henry could easily beat any reptile in a beauty contest. The idea made him laugh a bit.

The Cafeteria started filling with people, with Chris looking for Henry. But with the crowd getting bigger, his vision was limited and couldn't locate his friend, if he was here at all.
Cool...so I assume you are ok with the power up?

It looks to me like an acceptable addition to your power, but I am not a co-mod, so that isn't up to me.However, the problem I would personally find in it is that you added a power to your character after having already established and agreed to the parameters that were previously set. It isn't really a problem, per se, since it has never actually been used in-character and so on and so forth. I would simply suggest talking it over with the owner or assigned moderaters before any actual changes were made. The sheet essentially documentation of the accepted character; no harm is done though, it's just future advice.

I only added it because, as explained to Allen via PM, Red's power didn't have any room for improvement, thus missing the point of visiting the Academy at all. I didn;t think of that initially, but, what-the-hell, more ideas should come up as long as we play right? Besides, I wrote it in the CS so that it would be visible by either a GM or a Co and, if rejected, I will erase it immediately. As I said before, I am still an amateur when it comes to RPing, so I still have many things to learn. But I am really grateful for your advice Leo. Thanks! :D

What did you add to his power? I havent seen it yet.

It's under his main power...I would love to sum it up, but I am quite busy posting while my boss isn't looking, so I have to ask you to see it in his CS for now...Sorry for the incovenience!

Note: The name of his power-up is Data Vision on the CS. Hope that helps!
I also asked Allen about this, but with him being busy preparing the timeskip, I want to ask a co-gm about a future power-up I added to Red when de-classifying his powers. I am waiting for either your approval or rejection, in order to know if I could go on with it.
Hey guys, I am kinda worried about you, with the posting speed dropping so drastically...Is everyone okay??
