Also, having RPed in the Advanced Format, I can at least help you with story settings a bit if you like, without being a Co-GM...

Hello guys! Nice to meet you! I hope that being a little bit old school and keeping my faith in first generation Pokemon still makes me eligible to join your RP!
Red Winston & Henry Ollin (cameo: Administration Building Assistant)
It's been two days since the blackout. Red didn't find the generators in time to fix them and someone else probably did the job before him, so he quietly returned to his room. What happened later, though, awakened his curiosity once again.

It was Dellamore who gathered the students for a speech. Red didn't consider this unusual, he was the principal of the damn place anyway - he had to show his face every once in a while. It was what he said that urged him to find out more. A student was murdered during the blackout. An Academy packed with metahumans of every kind ought to have enough security measures to ensure the safety of the students, yet a murder still occur. It was something Red never expected, even more so, since he was confident that the Academy was top-of-the-art in every aspect, including security. First of all, the only known way in and out of the island is by boat and the shore is guarded quite well from what Red knew. So, the perpetrator had to at least have some knowledge about the Academy. Every idea that popped out of Red's head only augmented the feeling he had. The murderer was not an ordinary one and he was dangerous. The Academy had to act quick to find him, or things could turn out ugly. Coming all the way into a secluded island to kill a random student does not give someone a solid motive for murder. So, there was only one thing that Red was sure about. The murderer would strike again given the chance.

Then it came to him. He thought about it himself just a little while ago. The Academy was packed with metahumans. Some of them could have powers useful to find the criminal and Red was one of them. Investigating murders was something he stopped doing a long time ago, considering the death of his father came because of his involvement with such cases, but, right now, it was of top priority to eradicate the threat. If not for his sake, then for Deborah, Shannon, Poppy and everyone else who could be endangered because of this. Red decided to act on this one without the Mystery Hunters. He was not going to involve any lives on this one, unless utmost nescessary. This time, he would work alone. Taking a hiatus from the school puzzle they have started, Red rushed to the cafe, looking for the only person he could talk to about the problem...Henry.

Eventually running into him in the cafe, he realized he was talking to someone. Taking his time and simply giving him a slight gesture to get his attention, Red waited until he responded.

Ruben had walked off at this point, and Henry had been keeping himself busy with his coffee, phone, and Jessica, who had been his waitress for the time being. She knew him fairly well, and it was a slow day. Not many people were at the cafeteria, and so, she had been chatting with Henry on and off throughout the duration of his visitation. She left a few minutes after, and Henry began to entertain himself with a book. As he read Harper Lee's legendary "To Kill A Mockingbird" he noticed out of the corner of his eye that a student was standing not far away, seeming to want his attention.

"Come, come!" Henry said, smiling somewhat his gummy toothless smile. "Sit down, Red." he said. He paused for a moment, realizing that Red probably didn't know how he knew his name. "I apologize, as you can probably guess I get to take a look at the names in the student body. I recognize you. Among others. Take a seat." He said, closing his book and resting it on the table, and motioning for Red to sit down with his other hand. "How can I be of assistance?"

Red quickly scanned his surroundings, but nothing grabbed his attention except from "To Kill a Mockingbird". Seeing Henry and the book next to each other made Red wonder if Henry was just your typical bookworm with a good taste like him, or if he could relate himself with Atticus Finch.

"This is a nice choice for a reader who can understand a few things more than the others. I am not in any way surprised that you know my name, I figured the reason would be something like that, Dr.", Red said, although he was convinced that Henry knew his name from the first day at the banquet. He should have an enhanced sense of hearing after all, so it wouldn't be too difficult to pick a name or two.

Taking a sip of a coffee he grabbed a little while ago, he said:
"Dr. Ollin, I will be honest with you. I am more concerned about the murder of this girl, Vera. There are many factors that determine that the blackout and the murder happening at the same time are not a coincidence, but, this I am sure you have already thought of. However, I didn't come all the way here just to express my concern...You see, my powers grant me the ability to memorize just about anything I see, read or learn. This included things I learned when I involved myself with some cases in the past. I do not know if you can check my background before coming to the Academy, for which I am just about certain that you can, but what I wanted to say is that I am more than capable to help you with your investigation."

Henry's face contorted into a frown as Red spoke. "I said myself that I wont condone any searching." Henry stated, looking Red in the eyes, his yellow eliptical orbs meeting Red's circular ones. "What you find, I can happily report, and if you want to show me something you've found, then I'm happy to oblige." he stated, "And while I wish I could, I cant lead you into a dangerous situation. If you come across something, I am here, and I am going to be putting things together on my own time, and I could use any leads you find." he said. "But I wont ask you to put yourself in that situation. It must be by your own choice." he said, before he sniffed the air. "It seems like you've already found a few who are curious enough as it is." he said, faint smirk on one on his face. "I'm not saying go to them and help... but they'd be more help that I would."

Red expected something like that to be said. Henry wouldn't involve a student in a search, that would be the worst thing a teacher would ever do. But it gave him the chance to speak about what he wanted to say to Henry before. For the sake of his solitary investigation and for solving the puzzle of the Academy, Red tried to convince Henry:
"Dr. Ollin, as I said before, due to my ability, I have memorized vast amounts of information, including academic related material. Right now, I am one of the most versatile people, if not the most, in the academy. Doing lessons like a student really hinders my thinking process, so I would like to ask you to vouch for me for a position in the teachers' group. I assure you, I can take even the most difficult of classes, plus it will grant me more access to places where I can investigate the recent events easier. So, would you please ask Mr. Dellamorte for an audition about this matter?" Red asked as humbly as he could.

"Red," Henry began. "There is a portion of being a teacher that you're missing." He stated. "There's an experience portion that comes with age. There are situations you will have to deal with on the academy that you haven't been prepared for, as a sixteen year old young man." he said. "And frankly I dont think you'd want this job as a new student. You dont understand the responsibility and the gravity of every choice you make." he said. "The only reason I, a twenty five year old, was even considered for my position-" Henry started, "Was because I've grown up on the academy and inside it's walls. I've seen things that would make your background look... small." he said. "I can't recommend you as a teacher, or as a member of staff. That's a position you have to inquire about on your own. I can vouch for you if you are considered, but there will be several members of the staff that are included in whether or not you are recruited." He said.

"You have the intellect. No doubt about that," Henry said. "But you dont have the wisdom. Not yet."

Red wasn't by any means content with the answer. The shortcut he thought about was cut off as an option and that didn't give him many more moves to go on. He decided that the conversation would have no merit for him after this and stood from his chair.

"This is a really interesting book, Dr. Ollin. I hope that we might get to discuss about it the next time we meet. I will start an investigation soon enough. At least, you could use your authority and grant me entry to where the corpse is and at the scene where the body was found. The images will not be shocking to me, I assure you that. Please pass my offer for assistance to Mr. Dellamorte. If he agrees, he should be able to grant my request of access to any place I need to visit. Of course, I will always talk to you first before I decide to visit a place. Is that okay, at least?"

"I'll keep that in mind." Henry stated. "You will need to be the one to inquire with the Headmaster. If you're dead set on it, go to the administration building and set up an appointment." Henry said. "I can't give you permission to investigate," Henry said. "But I wont stop you either." he said, taking a sip of his coffee. "Good luck, Red. It was nice speaking with you."

Leaving his cup filled with some coffee, Red gestured goodbye to his reptilian teacher and headed to the Administration Office to ask for an appointment with the Headmaster. He passed the message to the Reception Office, where he managed to get an appointment with Dellamorte sometime later. With nothing else to do, he found a place to hide and light a cigarrete.
I can make the scenario for an Academy 218-based comic!
Red Winston

The gathering of a crowd this big annoyed Red. Deborah set out somewhere as soon as she heard a noise, it wasn't hard to deduce that her powers told her something that piqued her interest. Most of the group followed after the unofficial leader of the Mystery Hunters (even though some of the people were not part of the group and it wasn't an event for the Mystery Hunters to explore at all), leaving Red with Poppy. The guy who lit the surroundings moved along with the rest, taking away the light source from where they were to Deborah's location. Another person was there along with Deborah, maybe a relative of some sorts to her, from the characteristics he had. Nothing of interest to Red. In contrast to Deborah, Red was only interested in serious matters, not every little secret and situation around him.

He took this chance to think what he should do. Going along with the rest was an option he did not deem possible, wanting to be away from crowds. The only reason to gather with crowds so far was for his own self-interests and since there wasn't something to accomplish, he didn't have any reason to tag along. He decided to try and find the central power equipment of the Academy and see if he could do anything about it. Of course, there would already be some kind of engineering team that would look after the operation, but Red could probably repair the damage faster. Electronical engineering was one of the many fields he knew and he could pinpoint the problem easier than many experts in the field. There was also Poppy to think about, however.

Judging from her reactions, Poppy would be more than happy if Red left to bring the power back. She was probably really uncomfortable with the darkness. Worst case scenario, she would tag along with him, something that Red didn't mind. As far as Red knew, Poppy wasn't an oppresive person, thus, she wouldn't get in his way or be annoying. Plus, one person is not a crowd, especially since she already knew her. With that in mind, he said:

"Poppy, I am going to check on the problem with the power, before things get hectic and people start panicking. It might take a while to be back, since I don't know where the power generators are located, so you might want to go along with Deborah. I would suggest you don't come along with me if you consider it an option, but I won't object if you want to."

Having said that and taking advantage of the darkness, Red walked away from the lounge through the mass of students and headed out. He didn't say anything to Deborah, she was busy with her own business. The first place he decided to check out was the Administration building. If the generators weren't there, at least Red would find a clue as to where their location was.

(These events occured while the group was concerned with Jago, so Red left before the others and is not in the room)

Deborah's reply made Red feel bad, because he seemed like the bad guy. Leaving Poppy alone and just heading off to somewhere was not a nice thing to do admittingly, but Red was the type of person who, once he sets his priorities straight, would pay all his attention to them. However, Deborah had a point. The first time Red talked to Poppy was because she was crying. She was a fragile character, so it would be best to keep an eye on her. He took advantage of Deborah using her phone for light and scoped around for anything unusual, but everything was mostly in place for the time being.

"You are right...Let's stay together. Poppy would appreci...Woah!"

Red's mental conversation was interrupted by Shannon's overreaction. Red was already convinced that Shannon disliked him and would usually not pay much attention to it either, but her overreacting character was getting into his head. Maybe the sickness made his a little less patient than he would normally be, but he was annoyed by her gesture. He turned his head and covered his mouth to cough away from the girls and noticed that another person was with the group, a person he noticed that was with them before, but didn't really pay attention to.

"My sickness must be really affecting me...I wouldn't normally miss a person standing near me like that."

He tried to make his usual profiling by sight, but he couldn't concentrate to compare his details to his information, so he once again turned to Shannon. He had to make things clear between them one way or another, so he took the initiative and said:

"Shannon, your reactions are going to give me a hard time. If you don't decide to make clear what's your problem with me, I will not be able to fix it, no matter how eager I am to do so. So, instead of acting like a spoiled girl and just bitching your way out of your problems, try to make things right by facing them...", then he turned to Deborah," ...and yeah, I agree that we should get to somewhere else. I am certain that both the Garden and the Hospital will have backup generators in order to function properly. Except if you have something else in mind."

Victoria LaRouse

Victoria was certain that she heard Henry's voice, who said that he was in the Cafeteria. With the location pinpointed, the only thing left for Victoria to do was to go there. Her clothes were heavy from the water they had absorbed, by the time she reached the cafeteria. She opened the door and entered, but it was too dark to see who was there. Her vision was vital for her powers to work, so protecting Henry from any possible threat was much more difficult in here. First things first. She had to find Henry in the dark. The only peculiar thing in the room was a bad smell in the room (from Theresa's vomiting). Nothing more. She decided to use her phone for light, but it short-circuited from the rain outside. She wanted to swear, but thought that she shouldn't startle Henry, which also made her question herself if there is someone else in here. She said:

"Croco-boy, c'est moi! Are you here? For any other person who is here, I am Victoria, Henry's friend!"

A thought came by Victoria's head when she shouted. She thought that something similar to a movie could happen, like her looking for people in a place that's full of zombies. Although, in her mind, she would kick the asses of the zombies, hard. Taking advantage of the darkness, she took her T-shirt off, to dry it somehow. She hoped that the lights wouldn't come back quickly, it would be embarassing, especially if someone else was in the room. She had the bad luck to wear a black bra with purple outline, which she thought was very provocative.

"If anybody's here, please don't turn on any lights soon, or you can kiss your assess goodbye!" she said.

Red Winston

And just when the conversation started, the lights went out. A blackout. That's great....Red was hurt all over from a sinking ship adventure, hurt from the powers of a psychologically unstable adult, fell sick and he is now faced with a blackout. What could get worse? Frightened first years who cannot control their powers going berserk...maybe things could get worse after all...

"It seems that our little reunion is going to have to wait until the lights are back. But if you want my opinion, we shoukd avoid staying in the lounge...People might panic in such a situation and things can turn out to be quite hectic!"

Of course, Red wasn't only thinking of just going out in the rain. Even sick, there was ine thing that wouldn't change. His curiosity. Taking advantage of the situation, he touched Deborah and Shannon to establish mental contact with Deborah's ability. Then ne proposed:

I think that this is a good chance to ditch Poppy and make a go for a new expedition, a more authentic one, I might add!", the last phrase containing a bit of humourous sarcasm.

Victoria LaRousse

Victoria, after returning from her little adventure with her nosy roommate and her friends, spent most of her afternoon in her dorm. That was because, as soon as sne returned, she learned thst Henry was wounded in the hospital. It was a nasty surprise thst, combined with the mental stress she had, exhausted her. While she was fooling around in the shipwreck, Henry was exposing himself to God-knows-what kind of danger. If only she would go with him on the jungke expedition, she could help him, support him and for that, she blamed herself. Her power was strong enough to give Henry a hand and she could handle herself pretty well.

She didn't hear any news from Chris after they returned to the Academy. She thought of paying him a visit, but wasn't in the mood to do so. That's when a thunder was heard and the lights went out.

"Stupid Academy...You have technology to support and suppress some of the world's most powerful individuals, yet the electricity is cut from a simple thunder...stupid Americans!", she said to herself.

However, the blackout gave Victoria a boost in her mood. The blackout made her uneasy about how things were running in the Academy, whicn in turn made her worry about Henry once again. For her, there wasn't the slightest possibility to let Henry get injured again, at least not without her trying to protect him. She had to go to her beloved, although she was pretty much tired herself. Without wearing a jacket, only a white T-shirt and a pair of running trunks, she jumped out of her dorm window and changed place with a big rock she placed nearby beforehand to control her landing. It was her usual faster exit for the dorms.

Getting awfully wet, the rain turning her T-shirt semi-transparent and revealing her underwear without her noticing, Victoria ran around the Academy yelling:

"Henryyyy! Where are youuuu?! It's Victoria, mon ami!!"

She was clueless as to where Henry was, but she counted on his heightened senses to hear her voice and find her.
Red Winston

Red woke up in a rather plain room. His clothes were replaced by white clothes bearing the school's insignia and he was surrounded by some medical equipment, although most of it was probably was not used on him at all. He tried to sit on the bed instead of lying down. What happened? The last thing he remembered was being taken by Ben from a strange Luis guy, then everything was blank. Did he pass out? Possible. He had a deep wound on his forehead that was bleeding excessively. Judging from his surroundings, he must have passed out and brought to the Academy's hospital. Considering that his abilities are not related to his physical attributes and he was mixed in something like a superpowered shipwreck, maybe he was lucky that only this much happened.

He was surrounded by curtains, but he could vaguely see the figure of someone else that was lying on the bed next to him. If he had to take a guess, it was probably Chris. He had experienced quite the shock back there, not to mention the toll of his body from the overuse of his power. It was a good thing that they could both get out of there. Red wouldn't stand it if Chris died, even more so since he was the one who was eager to find out about the Academy. Technically, it was his curiosity that created this small group, since he was the one to propose to Deborah to do it. He didn't have more room for guilt in his brain to lock away, so he was glad that they managed to get out.

He got up from his bed and took a couple of steps, only to realize he was staggering and his body hurt from head to toe. There was a full-body mirror next to the bed and Red noticed that he had scratches and stitches all over his body and that the deep wound on his forehead left a scar parallel to the one he already had. It started from the top of his forehead and it diagonally cut a line on his eyebrow. Great...Now he had one wound across his face and another one just above his eye. At least the second one was somewhat covered by his hair.

Red realized that he also suffered from a fever. It was a bad thing to happen to him, because it dulled his powers. His processing time would slow down considerably and, sometimes, he wouldn't be able to function, considering the task. Although he would normally rest so he could fully use his powers, he decided to go to Deborah and Shannon. He was uneasy about this Luis guy and he didn't want to leave them alone (even though he was probably weaker than them). His hand leaning against anything that could support him, he headed to a wardrobe, changed to normal clothes (albeit not his own. They probably belonged to the Academy and they were more casual than the ones Red preferred, namely an open checked shirt, which he wore over a black T-shirt and a pair of slim jeans, with the ends of its legs inside a pair of All-star boots.)

He left the hospital ward and now headed to the lounge, the place where it was most possible to find Deborah and/or Shannon. His eyes scanning the whole lounge, he eventually noticed the duo along with Poppy. Red wonder what they could be discussing about, but he wasn't going to ask. He moved to the small group, giving a discreet greeting.

"Hello ladies...Seems like I have troubled you a bit *cough*, but I am back now. And, of course..." he turned to Poppy "...I am happy to see you too, Poppy. I was worried that you wouldn't be accustomed to the Academy, but I can see you can *cough* manage on your own just fine!"

Red picked his words carefully, so he wouldn't spill anything about what happened before. He then sat in a nearby chair, since he was tired of standing and walking while sick.
