Greetings, Guildies!
I am new to this site and interested in finding a partner for a literary two-step, a waltz of words, or as the kids call it these days, a 1v1. My interests are many and varied, though usually of a darker nature, and I prefer dancing with writers above the age of 18 due to the possibility of explicit romance. The level of writing must be, of course, advanced, so be prepared for in-depth plots and characters, longer posts, and exemplary writing. As a personal preference, I'd like any potential partners also to be able to play a number of characters, in order to increase the size and scope of our stories. I am much more comfortable playing female characters when dealing with any sort of romantic pairing and I'm not into same sex romance.
Take a Gander Among a Few Ideas:
Tightrope Waltz: A dark circus based role play, in which magic and the supernatural are prevalent. A cast of gifted performers are held captive by the owner/ringleader. I would like this to have a steampunk and/or Victorian feel.
The Blood Plague: In this gritty medieval fantasy roleplay, characters in the kingdom of Gazia are in the middle of a war that becomes more complicated when their people slowly begin to contract a plague. This terrifying disease graces them with brute strength, while also driving them mad for blood and lust.
Extraterrestrial Diplomacy: With the destruction of Earth, humanity is forced into the cosmos to find a new habitable world. However, upon arriving at the newly dubbed planet, Thiea, the humans encounter a new, intelligent, humanoid race that is not entirely comfortable with the new arrivals.
A Dance of Swords: An Amazonian warrior has been taken captive by a group of Roman soldiers and is then given to a prominent general-politician as a gladiator. Will she be able to survive the ring? Will he be able to survive the dark plot being put in place by his colleagues? They might just have to work together.
A Tale of Scales: I don't have much of a plot for this one, but I'm really in the mood for dragons. Shoot me any scaly ideas you have!
I am also very interested in hearing your ideas!
