Daisy Rhegall
Age: 19
Race: Beorc
Gender: Female
Affinity: Fire
Class: Barbarian Personality: Brash and rash- That's Daisy in a nutshell. Daisy is typically loud and, to be honest, a bit obnoxious. Rough around the edges, Daisy's manners could use a bit of work. Okay, a lot of work. And she might be a bit bullheaded and stubborn and maybe she's a too combative as well... but she does have some redeeming qualities! Daisy is an excellent fighter with a strong but odd sense of honor that most ruffians don't have. Daisy is also strongwilled and determined. Once she decides she is going to do something, she does not give up until its done. Lastly, Daisy is loyal to those she finds worthy of her trust and she will defend them until her last breath. Basically, don't get on Daisy's bad side.
Biography: Daisy was born to the noble family Rhegall of Cliace, where she was adored by her family. The family's baby girl, Daisy was spoiled by her mother, Helaine, and her father, Gwion. Though, even at a young age she wasn't the typical little princess most expected. Her favorite thing to do was wrestle her older brother Pellan. Her oldest brother, Gawyn, was a gallant young knight and Daisy's idol. She wanted to be a knight just like him. However, Daisy never got the chance. On her sixth birthday, her family threw a lavish ball attended by all sorts of friends and relatives. Among these guests was Pellean, the very jealous brother to Gwion. In an effort to assassinate his brother in order to take power, Pellean hired assassins to attack the castle. With music in the air and wine in their blood, the Rhegall family didn't know what was happening until it was too late. Helaine and Gwion were murdered while Gawyn escaped the castle with Daisy and Pellan. As they fled toward the northern mountains they came across a band of ruffians. Gawyn successfully killed them all before any harm came to his siblings but at the cost of his life. Daisy, only six, and Pellan, nine, were alone with no home and no one to turn to.
Not knowing what to do or where to go, the two just cried. They cried for their brother, they cried for their family, and they cried for their lives. Day turned to night and they hadn't moved. Their cries became snobs which became sniffles until finally Daisy fell asleep. When she awoke the next morning Pellan was gone and instead a young woman stood before her. The woman had a dangerous look about her but at the same time she had worry in her eyes. She asked Daisy who she was and what had happened to her. It was obvious Daisy was a highborn due to deep blue dress she was wearing. Daisy did not speak. The woman offered her a piece of bread from a satchel she carried. Daisy refused. Finally, the woman offered Daisy a warm dinner and a place to sleep before beginning to make her way down the road. Once the woman was far enough Daisy said her last goodbye to Gawyn and followed her.
Daisy followed the woman, making sure to keep out of sight. Daisy told herself she was following her because she thought this woman might know where Pellan was. She told herself that was why she was following her. It had nothing to do with the fact that she was lonely and scared. It had nothing to do with the fact that the woman had a dangerous heir about her that Daisy admired. And it certainly had nothing to do with the fact that she was cold and her belly was empty. Finally the woman came to a small cottage half hidden in the mountain foliage. Daisy watched the woman enter and waited. She waited until the sun went down and the stars had long been shining before approaching the home. Peering through the shutters Daisy could see that inside, set on the table was a bread and a cold bowl of soup. However, much of the room was still hidden in shadow so she told herself she'd go in, just to check the dark areas. Pellan could be in one of those dark areas.
Entering the cabin Daisy could see the woman sleeping on a cot in the corner. A quick search yielded no Pellan, only bread and soup. Daisy left the home and found a small hole hidden by a bush not far from the house. There, Daisy slept with a full belly. The next day Daisy watched the woman leave the cottage but when she attempted to follow her the woman quickly disappeared. Hours later the woman returned, her satchel full. Daisy again waited until nightfall where she peered through the shutters. More bread, more soup. Another full belly before sleep. This went on for days until Daisy lost track. Finally, one night when Daisy went to retrieve her meal the woman was not asleep. She confronted Daisy, told her not to be afraid. She told her that her name was Mohly and she wasn't going to hurt her. She also knew that she was Daisy Rhegall. She had heard in town what had happened to the Rhegall family and that people were looking for her. She promised Daisy she would protect her. Daisy believed her. That night Daisy cried herself to sleep in Mohly's arms.
Daisy stayed with Mohly from thereon. Mohly was a thief of sorts who worked alongside the mountain bandits. Their leader, Greggar, had a particular relationship with Mohly and made sure she was treated well. When Mohly introduced Daisy, now with cut hair and new clothes, he welcomed her. The bandits were blissfully unaware of Daisy's true identity, most believing Daisy was a nickname due to her rough nature. And so for years Daisy grew up with Mohly the thief and Greggar the mountain bandit.
However, do not be mistaken. Daisy has not forgotten her family. If it weren't for Mohly, Daisy would have set out by herself to fight the whole Cliace army in order to win back her home. Mohly constantly reminds her that she is not invincible and can't take back her home without help. Even if she tried to fight her uncle and his army and somehow got away, they would know she is alive. They would come for her. Most importantly, Mohly reminds Daisy that Pellan might still be out there and she would be no use to him dead.
