"You weren't assigned a team either? Phew, I thought it was just me!" Aiko sighed, relieved. She listened to the boy babble on, not entirely sure about what was going on before he dashed off, leaving a trail of dust in his wake. Aiko waved the dirt out of her face and watched him run through the gate. "Seeya Uchiha-san!" she called after him, slightly confused.
Then what he said clicked in Aiko's head - he was going to train with a Tokubetsu Jōnin! Ekirei Kokai, a teacher at the Academy. If Kota went to train with him, he would surely become better. Aiko's competitive instincts immediately kicked in - she couldn't let the Uchiha boy surpass her. Her general ninjutsu was excellent, but taijutsu was falling behind and Aiko had no clue how to use any other weapon other than a kunai. Now was the time to learn, she decided. But who could help her?
"What about Uchiha Ria?" Aiko thought, remembering one of the possible Jōnin sensei from the Academy. But her skill lay in Fire-Release ninjutsu and what help was that to a user of Wind and Earth? The kunoichi scratched her head, frustrated. She didn't have a choice. She needed someone to teach her and Ria was the only option. "This will have to work somehow," Aiko mumbled, beginning to head towards the Hokage residence.
