Yeah I'll get my post up within in the next few hours.
Oooooffff. But why can't there be moonlight too?

Sorry I'm so bad at this, please let me know if I do that again. And the times after that.
Wow that's probably the longest post I've ever made and it's not even that long.
Areia's mind was elsewhere, darkness enveloping the group as they walked through the trees. She had seen places similar through her travels, in fact she was unsure whether she had ventured through this particular area before. She followed the mage as he led them, making a beeline for a old abandoned stone building, overrun by nature. The golem continued to amuse her as it broke the heavy chains and opened the wooden doors to its master's command. The building was seemingly empty, ruined tapestries hanging from the walls and cobwebs in almost every crevice available. Her steps echoed as she walked down the cobble stairs, running her hand along the wall imbedded with stone. A large chamber awaited at the bottom, lit only by the soft glow emanating from Heinrich's staff.. Again, she was in awe at Heinrich's ability as he conjured up a decently-sized campsite with appropriate bedding and all. It was cosy, to say the least. Areia pulled up a stool and sat, rather happily scooping herself a bowl of the stew. It made her a little homesick, to be honest. The delicious smell reminded her of her days before she left on her travels as a bard, the smell that would engulf her house as her mother cooked the meal. Beef stew was somewhat rare in her household as the main had become increasingly rare for people of her class, but that was what made it so special.

She picked up a spoon and began to eat the stew, ignorant of the others around her. Of course, it wasn't quite as good as her mother's but that didn't stop the sudden nostalgia from flooding her mind, the memories of her and her siblings crowding around the table for the largest serving. Areia couldn't stop herself from letting out a small sigh as she continued to eat, reminiscing of her younger days. She held her hands out towards the fire, soaking up it's pleasing warmth amidst the cold of the night and taking care not to burn herself. Last time she got to desperate for the heat of a flame she ended up with second and third-degree burns on her arms and torso.
Deedlith breathed in the scent of pine trees, trees that were present within her House's land. Like Areia, the Elf was already beginning to experience slight homesickness, although it passed quickly when they approached the stone building. It was simple, yet the abundance of plants and flowers entangling themselves around it made it even more of a sight to behold. The clay golem abruptly destroyed the chains and broke open the large double doors, much to her human companion's delight. Peon, who was perched calmly on her shoulder, dug her talons into Deedlith's skin, causing her to wince. While the bird was not easily frightened, loud noises alarmed her to some extent. The Elf stroked Peon's soft coat to soothe her and the owl's sharp claws loosened their grip.

She stepped inside and followed the mage into an underground chamber where he summoned a campfire, food and bedding in the centre, an interesting spell to have in one's arsenal. Magic required a somewhat complex understanding, although performing the spells themselves lacked such complexity. The use of magic was forbidden to all members of House Araviel, restricted only to the clan's healers and shamans who were the only members not to learn any form of offensive skills. Deedlith had read few books on the art of conjuration in her time, but her knowledge was limited as she could never quite grasp a clear understanding of the subject. She took a seat next to Areia, who had almost devoured her whole serving, and spooned herself a bowl. The Elf was aware that the mage's energy would have taken a blow from such a spell, but she suspected that it wouldn't affect him as much as it would affect someone of lower standards.

Beef stew wasn't a typical meal for Deedlith, in fact she had never encountered the combination of meat and vegetables at all. Of course she had read of it, but the taste was largely unfamiliar. Her meals usually compromised of nuts, fruits and berries, despite her clan's great appreciation for a good boar or deer. She wasn't necessarily a picky eater, nor was she against killing animals for food, so she simply pushed aside the small pieces of beef and ate the vegetables without saying a word.
Okay I updated it, here are the changes.

Backstory said ...During the fall of Hinata's final year of training, an unknown accident occurred within the monastery, burning it to the ground...

Abilities said Earth projectile: Hinata raises a chunks of earth from the ground and hurls them at her enemies at a great speed. The force typically knocks the target(s) off their feet and causes them damage.

Iron flesh: This ability creates a stony armour around herself or allies, creating a near-impenetrable defence towards physical attacks for a short period of time.

Lightning: Hinata has the ability to summon lightning herself or using Pandora, and it is used to electrify opponents and cause them damage.

Fireball: Hinata summons an orb of flames and uses it to attack enemies.

Stream of flames: Using Pandora as a conductor or her hands, Hinata releases a stream of fire which is slower than throwing a fireball but is better for close-range attacks.

Healing rain: Hinata summons a small rain cloud which heals all allies in a small radius for a short period of time.

Ice shard: Using a nearby water source, Hinata forms sharp objects made from ice to pierce and harm enemies. Similar to earth projectile, it is thrown from a distance but is faster and preferably used against targets with weaker armour.

@Insomnia: While I don't mind the monastery being destroyed (it helps that the personality doesn't look like you're using it for an excuse to throw darkness into the RP), I'm not so sure about the idea of a group of "rogues" being responsible for it. It doesn't really feel like it fits the modern setting, to be honest. So, while it's fine for it to be destroyed, I'd like if you could change the reason. I'm not even saying it can't be humans, just...I don't really see there being roaming bands of rogues.

The abilities look interesting (the attunement idea kinda reminds me of Guild Wars 2, ehe), but I don't really see them fitting with magic as it is in the setting. While it's possible that someone could use multiple elements (or even all of them if their affinity didn't get in the way of it), they would just know spells related to the elements, rather than attuning themselves to different elements to change what they can do.

Alright, I could change it to just an accident then?

Yeah, the attunement idea was based of GW2. But if that's the case can I give her say one or two spells per element? If I do that it leaves room for development and skill progression and things.
I thought half dragons were created from a dragon giving a mortal his blood or something like that.
Deedlith smiled at the samurai, who introduced himself as Kyoto, and shook his hand with her own gloved and delicate hand. "Pleased to meet you, Kyoto. Deedlith," she said as the man held out a bag of coins. She exhaled through her nose, looking at the man through his olive-shaped eyes. "I have no need for trifles such as money, but thank you for the offer nonetheless. I too am here merely to test my own skills, however, if you were to ask my companion, her answer may differ from mine."

In all honesty, the elf didn't know why she agreed to journey to Krystallem. She certainly didn't need the money and she preferred keeping to the confines of her home rather than adventuring and fooling about outside. While she did want to test her skills, she could tell by the form of the letter that this particular mission would grant her knowledge that not even the largest of libraries could contain.

Areia, unlike her companion, had nothing on her mind other than the strangeness of the so-called "golem". She reached out hesitantly to touch it, but flinched and retracted her hand. She stood in awe for a few more moments before noticing the samurai making a comment as she turned to face him. "W-weigh me down?!" She exclaimed, astonished at the man's take on money. "Coin will never weigh me down! The only thing that will weigh me down is the thought of lacking coin!" Her logic was flawed, but she appreciated any good reward, no matter the challenge.

Deedlith let out a small laugh at the similarities between her and Kyoto. "Glad to see someone who shares the same point of view. How are you supposed to keep light on your feet when you have the burden of piles of money?"

The red-head scoffed and threw a hand onto her oversized blade, running her fingers along the hilt. "Do I really look like I could be weighed down any more than I am? Besides, I always have room for money," she laughed, flicking the sword. Her eyes widened as a bag of gold appeared before her and grabbed it instantly. It did feel heavy in her hands, but she stuffed it in her pockets happily.

The elf listened to the man called Heinrich as he explained their goals as well as examined the rest of their group. She knew that Areia wouldn't listen, but she surely would have time to explain later. It was a rather large group, but the more the merrier. She was used to travelling in small, agile units all with similar fighting styles. Even Areia's way of combat was unusual to her. But she was skilled at adapting to the situation at hand, and so she would as that situation came. Deedlith noticed a trio of elves, a young female elf with rather odd red eyes, a male elf who looked somewhat similar to the girl, yet their features were almost polar opposites and another male clad in dark attire, carrying a bow. To his side was a grey wolf, a beautiful creature indeed. That particular elf intrigued her especially, more so than the other two, and she couldn't help but find herself staring at him and watching his movements. She wondered where they were from as they were dressed much differently to her, particularly the one wielding the long blade. Almost every member in House Araviel, in fact all members were some form of skilled bowmen. It was the perfect time to learn, Deedlith supposed.
I just realised that the pic I used for Deedlith looks quite childish so can you all do me a favour and use your heads to imagine something less cartoonish and more... mature I guess?
Oh yeah she's kind of based off an Elementalist from GW2, if you hadn't picked that up yet.

Name: Hinata Kagome

Age: 18

Personality: Hinata is seemingly always cheerful and has the ability to constantly see the positive side of things. She is highly tolerant of everything, but often keeps her other emotions pent up within her. Hinata is occasionally the voice of reason and is known for stopping others from making rash decisions. While she can light up a room in an instant, Hinata knows how to take battle seriously and is seemingly a completely different person, depending on the situation.

Backstory: Hinata lived in a monastery just on the outskirts of Nekoyama for all her life, trained in the ways of the elements. She had a very strict routine and learnt to appreciate what little things she was permitted to enjoy. Her personal belongings were limited so she had little to lose and always maintained a positive attitude through her difficult practice. During the fall of Hinata's final year of training, an unknown accident occurred within the monastery, burning it to the ground. Hinata, who had left for a journey of solitude, returned to the blackened rubble of her previous home and was lost for words and actions. Upon this she turned to the Nekoyama guild which granted her a place to stay in her troubles.

Abilities/Equipment:

Pandora: Pandora is Hinata's staff, which is used to cast various elemental spells and magic. Hinata can cast magic without it, but by using the staff she is able to create more powerful versions and avoid fatiguing herself more than necessary. Often, for a single spell Hinata will summon whatever element she desires from the orb of the staff and use her free hand to redirect it more accurately.

Earth projectile: Hinata raises a chunks of earth from the ground and hurls them at her enemies at a great speed.
