Reddo Stood at the bottom of the citadel looking up at the moon. She didn't follow her "friends" into building to listen in on the meeting. She just stood waiting, her hair shining in the light. She looked at her hands thinking of all the things that have happened during her life time. She thinks of the things that caused her to rise up and fight the so called government.
Reddo remembered her best friend's face laying on the wet stone ground, rain was pouring that day and her hair was in a pony tail. His blood was everywhere and tears streamed down her cheeks. She fiddled with the heart shaped locket that was strapped around her neck and a single tear rolled down her face, shimmered in the moon light and then forgotten about once it splashed against the paved road.
She wiped her eyes and looked at her phone, which was of course was dead. Reddo didn't know the time or what her friends was doing. Which was okay she thought, nobody cared about her so why should she care about them. The red light on her belt began to pulsate bright red color. Which she knew meant to abort the mission. She wondered what had gone on in the citadel to cause the lifeless piece of glass on her belt to a beacon that showed everybody where she was and maybe even who she was. she didn't want that. She undid her belt and pulled the red light off of it. She stuffed it in her bra with the red facing her skin hopping to counsel it. which worked surprisingly well.
She waited and waited for somebody to come out but didn't see anybody. But, finally all she heard was some screaming. She looked up and saw a body of somebody falling. She only had enough time to step out of the way before the body hit the ground with a loud thud or so she thought it was going to do. Then in a split second the person was gone. She shrugged and turned walking away with no care in the world other than charging her phone.
