PERSONALITY: Vani is a person who usually says whatever comes to his mind and doesn't really care about what other people think about him. He does enjoy to joke around with people he knows and he will protect his comrades if they are in danger. Vani enjoys the thrill that comes from killing someone and always loves it when he has to silence some witnesses.
MAGIC NAME: Phase Shift
MAGIC DESCRIPTION: Phase shift allows the user to make himself or things he is touching intangible. Tangible object can't touch intangible ones and vice versa, the only way to touch an intangible object is if the other object is also intangible. Vani is able to make himself intangible for 30 seconds straight, but has to wait 5 seconds before he can do it again. Non living items are easier to phase and he can make them intangible for about 1 minute and only has to wait 2 seconds before he is able to do it again. Other living things are quite hard to phase and Vani is only able to phase 1 other living being at the same time and only for about 10 seconds, the waiting time for phasing the same person again is about 1 minute. These rules apply per object and he can freely choose what he phases when.
Vani uses his magic in conjunction with his wire daggers to make them phase through opponents and become tangible again while they are inside an opponents body.

History

Eva was born
Julius was raised as an orphan in Magnolia but thanks to his keen intellect was quickly adopted by a merchant rising up the ranks of trading guild. His talents when it came to anything requiring activity of the mind, whether it be balancing the books, working out profit margins, trade routes, price adjustments or anything else, brought himself and his foster father into prominence in the guild. At the age of nine, two years after he had been adopted, Julius met a mage who regarded him in a way that was unique to the boy. The mage stayed in the town Julius' father worked in and it came to pass that Julius began his training as an Air Mage. Although it was only for a brief time Julius got down the basics and his discovery set him on the future path of magic.

For over a decade the boy worked with his foster father and spent much of his free time in libraries and archives, studying anything and everything. His photographic memory forced him to forget nothing and, if it were not for his intellect, it was likely his pysche would have snapped early on. Having neglected his magic for years it came as no surprise that when the trading guild was attacked by a dark guild he was unable to protect himself or the merchants; including his foster father. By mere change he survived the attack, although a large scar, several inches wide, down his back marks where a burning beam landed upon him when the building was burnt down.

Devoid of his father, and the life he had led up until then, Julius sought to follow the path of magic opened to him years before and returned to his home town; to Magnolia. Having joined Fairy Tail Julius kept to himself, still disquieted by his father's death and the other tragedies of that day. Over a week had passed since he had joined but still he found it hard to fully embrace his new life with the shadow of the last hanging over him; forever engraved into his memory which is unable to forget the slightest detail.

Hakuran was really bored right now. The person she had chosen had as she expected accepted the contract, but she hadn't expected him to be like this. A mere butler, her master had his own master, the servant of a servant. This annoyed her a lot, but the thing annoying and boring her now was the time spent waiting for her master to come back. He had just said that he was going to get some food, that had been quite a bit of time ago now. Being stuck in a room with nothing to do was the most boring thing to Hakuran and if her master didn't show up quickly she would start to try out stuff to stave of her boredom, probably trying out her powers on the furniture in the room.

She was about to summon her weapon when her master Clifford Blake knocked on the door and came in. She looked at him placing everything on the table in front of her and he even stated what the drink was this evening. Basically the perfect butler. Deciding she had nothing better to do she picked up the cup and drank some of the tea. It really tasted good, maybe waiting wasn't that bad if it was for good food and drinks. Seeing her master just stand there looking at her made her remember what she promised, she would answer some of his questions regarding their contract. "I'm guessing you have some questions about our contract. As I promised you can ask away and I'll try to answer some of them, just remember even I don't know all of the answers. Also sit down I don't like talking to someone standing up when I'm sitting down!"

Diego
The woman in black was telling him that he was outclassed here and that she was the only one who could beat the other woman. Diego didn't really disagree as both of them had impossible strength. The one thing he didn't understand was what she meant with him being an anchor. Being an anchor meant he would be something that keeps her somewhere, but what would she want him to be an anchor for? 'Wait a second' Diego started to think about the strange light he saw as she appeared out of nowhere. Could she be meaning that he would be an anchor for him in the meaning of keeping her in this place. The tone of urgency he could hear in her voice meant that she would need his answer before she started fighting. Seeing no other way out of this he accepted. "Ok I'll be your anchor and whatever that brings. I accept your deal."
