A quick introduction of myself and a few associates of mine

For real though, I'm a Brit who dabbles in most genres of roleplay, but tends to go for fantasy and sci-fi in particular. I prefer high casual, but will use a more or less advanced writing style if I like the concept.

Announcing that there is now an (incomplete) OOC! It's earlier than I sai it would be, but I also said it's incomplete. Regardless, it exists.

I had an awesome idea recently. Just throwing it out here now.

At some point, whenever the power level would be suitable, I want to get Shaktimaan a headband of intellect. Then, his intelligence will be high enough for him to theoretically gain class levels. Tessa would train him as an apprentice wizard, and bam, we have ourselves the fantasy equivalent of a battle tank.
Blood and Gold

"This is where it ends. With blood and pain and revenge. But it began with love. This is how everything begins and this is how everything ends."
-The Great and Terrible Life of Shara Yvarai

Blood and Gold is roleplay using the setting and rules of the roleplaying game Houses of the Blooded. It is about the Ven, an ancient people whose society is obsessed with etitquette and ritual, but also Beauty, Romance and Revenge. It is about tragedy, about the struggle to survive in a world where a knife to the back may come from any hand. And of course, about the quest to place one's own knife where it needs to be. Players will be trying to climb to the top, whether with a vial of poison in the wine or a retinue of soldiers storming the keep. Sorcery, treachery, seduction, duels of honour. These and more will all be the tools of the players. Let's put them to use.

@The Mighty Hero I assumed I failed my arcana check (9) in my last post. I'll edit it if you disagree.
@Wick PM it to me, if that's good with you.
@Ashevelendar Strange, but not much that's simple is worthwhile. It'll be good to have you, assuming you plan to have us as well.
"I think I can help here, in one way or another. I could cast a spell to disguise myself as a servant, and go in through the alternative entrance Alric mentioned. Obviously, that'd only get me in, and I can't cast it on anyone else, but maybe the lock can be disabled from the inside. Alternatively, I could charm someone already inside the building, and, again assuming that the lock can be disabled from the inside, have them do just that. It would have to be through a window or something, perhaps at the servants' entrance, but I think that as long as they don't see any of you, it'll work."

Tessa explained how she could be of use in infiltrating the mansion. As she did so, she examined the door, obviously focusing on it but tilting her head slightly towards the people she was speaking to. It was not an easy barrier to break, as Thanath had demonstrated, but it could doubtlessly be circumvented.

"I don't know about this lock, Kethan. Do you have any idea, or any of you, for that matter?"

Just posting to say that this has not been abandoned, I plan to have an OOC up sometime on Friday.
Granted. You now have double muscle syndrome, and any movement causes excruicating pain, but hey, you look tough.

I wish that for a week, everyone on roleplayerguild turns into their avatar, irl.
@FallenTrinity Awesome, it'll be good to have you onboard.
