Maybe Aniela was really changed like she said, or maybe that wasn't at all he case he thought as he walked int the hunter's base before shortly exiting. He was happy to have gotten two of the three weapons that Mason had crafted. He marveled at the gauntlet as it clasped around his wrist, it fit like a glove, the intricate metal design, the markings, combined perfectly with technology. It was beautiful and admirable by anyone, but none could appreciate its beauty more than a weapons builder. He never before had seen anything like this though. He even tried it out for himself on a tree, not too far away from Mason and Ani, he took aim with both weapons. He preferred to call them tools. they seemed like grappling hooks after all, he fired both toward the tree. Once the silver blades were deeply embedded into the wood Aaron let out a surprised yell when he was pulled. This weapon was able to pull him with ease, maybe if he made resistance it wouldn't do such a thing. There he was though, hanging from the branch, he felt embarrassed up there, now with everyone being able to see him in his idiocy. “Help? Someone?” The young hunter called out, he gasped when he heard the cracking sounds of the branch. He had a frown on his face, he didn't want the female to feel like this was her doing, she was the cause for reaction but Anthony chose to go about it that way. He knelt down and placed a hand on her shoulder, smiling softly all the while. “I know, thank you for trying to help, it was admirable..” Mason said to her, his smile never seeming to fade, he sighed when he had heard her apology. “I know you’re sorry, I just need everyone else to know that..” He said, trying to sound the least bit hopeful. Mason turned his head toward his brother’s voice, smirking when he had seen what happened and breaking into a fit of laughter. “How did you manage that?!” He said with a laugh, poking fun at his brother, he glanced at Ani and smiled. “Would you like to help him?” Mason asked, pointing to Aaron who was still dangling from the very high up branch, unknown to Mason, the branch his brother was hanging on had been slowly cracking, threatening to give way.
Aniela quietly listened to what Mason said. She had tensed when he put his hand on her shoulder, she wasn't used to humans showing any kind of affection to her. She did give up and said sorry, she did it because she is afraid of Mason. The kid could withstand her power, he always seemed to be stronger and faster than a normal human.. it was unnatural. But she had to stick with these humans now.. she had no choice. She had changed in some sense, she could understand what fear was like, and it wasn't pleasant. She began to like this human Mason even if he had tried to kill her and even if he scared her. He could be nice.. if he wanted to be.
Aniela nodded slowly and looked up at Mason, he was smiling. Not smiling evily like earlier. He was smiling gently, as if he did care. "I'll help him before he falls." She said then stood up. The Empousai could hear the branch that Aaron was dangling from crack, as if it was about to break. "He is about to fall, you know that right?" She asked Mason before jogging over to Aaron. She positioned herself under Aaron and held her hands out, if he fell she would catch him.. she was sure she would. "I got you, Aaron." She called.
