Keilan padded softly after Lumina and investigated the first portion of the guild a bit more thoroughly than she had prior to her nap.
Reshiram soared through the bright sky, eyes on the world below. The wind rushed over her body and cooled her, though she knew she left a shimmering heat trail in her wake. Nothing seemed very out of place. Soon, she would go back.
So. I'm just gonna bump this a little. The Island is accepting character applications again. One slot has officially opened and a second may follow within the next 7 days or so. Some one willing to work with me a little on back story to make it easier for me to fit the new character in would be nice, but you won't be far behind, so don't worry too much.
What's goin' on guys? Everyone still good?

Once we get through the last introductions, the plot line is gonna move a little more fluidly and chances of getting left behind somewhat are probably gonna grow. So... One more post before mine, I think. If Electric Velvet can't post before this evening, I'll go ahead and post an intro for Latia (under the assumption she is currently being shy in game) and move things along to the next stage. There is an excellent chance of me posting a delightful text-wall to do so.

I'm also going to assume Nitrogentle is out and open his/her slot back up..
Me too!
"If you'll pardon me, while your homeland sounds... lovely, I think I'll stick to my clear nights, burning hot days, desert winds and sand storms with only one rainy/storm season. Though, I would like to see some of the scenery you speak of. When in Japan instead of Egypt, I loved running through the wooded mountains with Mother." Leilah remarked, wincing slightly at his vocalization of thunder. She looked at Zandrea, noticing her flinch as well and take a step back. She had looked as though she were reminiscing, enthralled by his words, until the 'BOOM.' It made the Kyuubi think that, perhaps, Zandrea's homeland was similar to Syrax's.

Leilah also began making her way out of the rows of seats. "I guess we should get going towards the dorms before all the good rooms are taken?"
Sonam wasted no time after a good night's rest and a rather early breakfast. No more than an hour after sunrise she was back on the streets of Huo Dao. Knowing she would be an unfamiliar face, she appeared to wander a bit through the streets and alleyways to avoid drawing undue attention. In her experience it was highly uncommon for a stranger, unknown to the city or any of it's people, to walk deliberately and purposefully to any one place unless it was the place they were staying the duration of her visit. Everything in her past and training told her to go straight back to the place where the Dragon was painted would be idiotic. To slowly meander there, however, was entirely fair game.

On her slow, winding path there, the small, tan, crimson haired woman stopped at a few vendors and looked at trinkets. She even bought a small pendant she found that had a symbol for 'peace' similar to one she had seen in her temple teaching manuscripts. A small, leaf-wrapped bundle of Mochi may have also found it's way casually in to one of the pouches on the belt fastened at her waist. At last, however, she found herself back in front of the building she had mentally marked the day prior. Her eyes studied the stone wall on which the Dragon was painted, gently running her fingers over some of it's features. It might open... Sonam told herself, but I'd better not try. It's broad daylight.... Instead, the teal and black clad woman opted to enter the building through it's front entrance.

Bright eyes examined the room swiftly, taking in it's features out of both habit and sensible necessity. "Hello? Is anyone here?"
Keilara moved quietly through the dim tunnel with the younglings and two Jedi, sticking close to the former. For some reason the small initiates comforted her slightly. Perhaps it was knowing there were still those weaker than her that would need help, or perhaps it was just knowledge that someone was as scared and confused as she was without a clue of where to go next. She wasn't entirely sure, but she allowed their presences to aid in soothing her enough to focus on anything other than the searing pain just above her hip bone. At last they came out in to a chamber where others had gathered.

Thank the skies others have made it, the Vahla sighed to herself, running her hand through thick, red hair. Another Temple Guard seemed to call over to the one that she and the rest of her group had been following, Kraytan apparently. Her blood ran cold as she listened to some of their conversation. Things were bad. Bad all around and to a degree she could have never have imagined. Something was hunting in the Temple. Something horrible that had killed the Temple Master. Now those in questionable condition would be left behind. Keilara forced back the tears that threatened to sting her eyes and bit back her own protest akin to the female Guard's. It wasn't her place. She was there to follow and learn, regardless of what may happen or was happening. She felt a sickening twist in her stomach, but remained outwardly steady.

She looked, then, to recollect herself, to the Anzati and Nautolan younglings. They looked terrified and haunted, their small faces reflecting her own feelings. The Anzati cried quietly. As she waited on orders, she stooped slightly so that her tall frame was more on their levels and she reached and offered a comforting arm to each of them. Softly, she whispered some encouragements, desperately willing herself to believe her own words, "Be strong. We will get through and things will work out. Have faith, alright? Now is the time to be brave and focus on listening carefully to what the Temple Guards ask of us. You have come this far and have done well. You can make it. We can make it. We will find the rest of the Order and regroup in a safe place. You will see."
Sonam is trained enough to look for subtleties, and creative enough to find it probably, but do I want her to is the question? lol
Okie dokie. I'll post again later this afternoon, probably.
Hmm, now what to do.... *ponders over new post*
