"Doubt not, right?!" Hana quoted her little sister as she and Rin rocketed past the defenders and into the main hall. The bright red light was blinding for a moment, but as soon as Hana's eyes adjusted she would detach from Rin, acrobatically dispatching two powerful-looking dark mages in mid air before sliding to a crouched halt in the middle of the massive room. Two katana had been requipped in her hands, which she didn't bother to put away at the end of her deadly entrance. That black box from those few years ago was on an altar located below a statue of a hand, arced as if it was supposed to snatch something from out of the sky. The black box continuously gave out an unlimited source of magic power - it was one thing that hadn't changed at all since the war...

"Rin, get out of here," Hana said as she felt an increase in pressure. This was Minerva's area. She could appear and strike at any moment, and having Rin around would only put the Exceed in harms way... And Hana's way. "He told me I'm not allowed to die, so go tell Joey to hurry up and clear this place out."

"Run, kitty... Run...!" A ghastly female voice came from all over the main hall.
Meanwhile, in the lowest of the massive courtyards on the mountain-fixed castle... Chaos erupted.

There was a thundering explosion as the two Dragon Slayers landed. Between the raging flames, the powerful water pressures and the surging azure wind, many of the dark mages were knocked unconscious, their limbs broken or their weapons destroyed. "NICE PLACE YA' GOT HERE!" Misaki roared at the opposition as she began plowing through the everyday grunts with Tamotsu and Melissa. It wasn't exactly boring. The enemy had skill, but they still had nothing on these three - and they weren't coordinating like their enemy. Misa, Meli and Tamotsu were an unbeatable trio at this point... But ahead, there were dangerous and challenging enemies. The magic cannon far up in the clouds, the Shades, and any other surprises they might have up their sleeves.
"Nope, I can already hear the chaos." Luka made her presence clear to Chris and Amelia, latched onto the latter's neck as she tried not to strangle her old guildmate. Amelia scowled at her, twitching her eyes in confusion at Luka as if to question how this came about. "...What?! Everyone else has transport! You were gonna leave me behind!" Luka complained.

"Why didn't ya' just hold onto your boyfriend or something?!" Amelia growled back as she increased the flame output to keep the three moving. "Tamotsu flew off before I-!" Luka snapped back, interrupting herself only when she realised what Amelia had tricked her into saying. She started to blush while her old friend started smirking triumphantly. "You get what I mean!"

"Yes~, you're in love~ And you just told us~" Amelia teased, but ceased her giggling as Luka suddenly shifted her arms to lock around the French girl's neck. Going this fast she might end up breaking something! "Okay, okay! I'll shut up and give you a free ride..." she murmured as the three caught up to Jessica's gigantic beast. Amelia didn't want to get too close though - thing might step on them before they got to the fight!
(Dragonblood will be arriving last, just sayin' ^_^ Should get some more serious fights started up before the backup arrives)
"...One thing I can remember from it all? It was a pretty awesome night, regardless. That's something I'll admit," Kaori said, grinning as she slid the door open and began to leave. It was half way through the morning already, but that was still more than enough daylight for business. As if it was put there for the moment she walked outside, sakura petals blew around Kaori, landing in her hair and on her shoulders. For once the murderous chick actually looked pretty calm...

"Are we going back to the Citadel to talk to those two?" Kaori asked, staring up at the sky as the petals blew around above.

(It'll only be peaceful for one post though! Don't worry xD)
"Nice, Aurora!" Blaze cheered as the castle walls began to shatter, though she hadn't noticed the girl falling unconscious in her arms after exhausting all her magic power supply. It was quite a display from the newbie! Iggy and Torie charging in was Blaze's cue to start covering them from the air, despite the Dark Mages getting really smashed up already. Maybe she could infiltrate from a top window or something - find another way to cause chaos. But~, reinforcements could always arrive and cut off Iggy & Torie's escape route if things got bad in there.

Blaze flew into the town, her fiery wings disappearing before she slid to a halt in a dark alley. Gently, she laid Aurora against the wall and smiled. This'll have to do for now. I doubt anyone will come through here. You've earned yourself a nice rest, newbie. She thought, lightly patting the unconscious Aurora twice on the shoulder before running out into the open and launching herself to a rooftop.

"...Damn it, Iggy. I need more action than this!" Blaze sighed as she began to keep a lookout for any signs of backup. That, and she stretched out her senses trying to find magic fluctuations around the town.
I'ma have a post up by tomorrow!
Just been busy with things is all...
With a thundering crash, a body was launched out of the Odd Jobs shop and onto the cobbled street, a cultist with blood pouring from ...well, everywhere! The other two ran outside, bound Daedric blades in hand - they weren't stupid enough to keep discounting the kid's speed after the first one-hit-kill, and opted to use melee weapons to defend what wards simply couldn't. They didn't waver in the slightest. Commendable, but they had no idea who they were messing with...

Aria slowly stepped outside, tapping the ground with the tip of her katana. She lacked any real expression, mainly due to the fact that her opponents' faces were masked. She wondered if they were shitting it or genuinely standing their ground. Probably the latter; they were so damn zealous. "Can you two do yourselves a favour and spill everything before you leave Whiterun forever? It's bad for business if there's three dead morons bleeding all over the street outside my door. Oh, you still need to pay for that door, too."

"You pathetic runt... You will fall before the loyal servants of the true Dragonborn, and so will your friend and that witness you have!" The larger of the two snapped as he built up a fire bolt in one hand. Before he could make another move, Aria closed the gap between them, swiftly and powerfully taking his arm off at the elbow. The larger cultist fell and screamed as the deceptively strong young lady kicked into the open wound.

"You already smashed the door, you freaks! You burn my shop down and I'll rip through those masks and burn your eyeballs out!" Aria growled sadistically. The second cultist made a clumsy swing for her neck, but she was behind him before he'd even finished his swipe. Everything was still for a moment, until the man's robes began to turn red. The cultist fell forward, and Aria quite calmly began walking up the street toward Arcadia's Cauldron, the tip of her blade occasionally dropping a droplet of blood onto the clean cobbles. "And you, with the missing arm? Move an inch and I'll make sure you die slowly. Kay~?" she chanted as she left the injured man's sight.

"Cronic, you alive?" Aria called up the street.
"Not amazing, just very lucky to be a part of this team." Lucia told Akira, "We watch each other's backs, and 80% of the time it works out okay," she smirked and turned her attention to Xan, ...but~ it seemed like he'd dozed off. Either he didn't get much sleep on the way here, or he was too cool to get scared by swarms of automated mobile suits and dozed off because he was bored. Whatever, it's not like they were fighting right now.

"Heh. Well, if he's not gonna wake up for a while..." Lucia turned back to Akira and dived through the zero gravity, grabbing onto his arm and pulling him towards the door. "Let's see how good you are in that Impulse of yours! We'll probably be working together a lot, so I hope you'll impress me in a mock battle."
"Eh?" Glitch blinked a few times as he woke up. The beeping had to stop...! He slammed on the communicator trying to turn it off, but Cronic's voice began blaring through it. The Irish kid was so tired... Damnable R&D projects, all these experiments and new constructions were taking their toll on the Junk Guild's youngest, but most skilled Engineer as he worked day and night to get the new mobile suits ready. And now the Minerva needed more frickin' Impulse Silhouettes too?!

"Mh.. Yeah, leave it to me. I'll see what I can throw up," Glitch murmured before taking a large sip of his bottled energy drink. How long had he been asleep? "I'll get the guys on it, like, right away..." he yawned.
There it is again...

That feeling shot through her again, though it didn't show. Izumi was getting paranoid, and for good reason. Something was definitely wrong here in Prosperity City, but nobody else seemed to catch on. Perhaps they didn't have that 'gift' that herself, the Extended pilot and Cronic had...

"Zerenis, does anything seem off to you?" Izumi asked out of nowhere, while they were just finishing up their contraband crew supply pickups in a drink store. Considering this feeling was sort of following the two around, it felt a little eerie. But maybe Zerenis couldn't feel anything at all, and it was all in Izzy's head. She certainly hoped it was...
"A sound plan, General!" Blaze said in a playfully fierce manner as she saluted Iggy. She then gave Torie a nod with that same expression, "Good luck you two! Don't get hurt n' don't hold back for anything." With that said, Blaze's wings of flame shot out of her back. She flew around behind Aurora and wrapped her arms around the pink-haired girl's form, ready to fly!

"Don't be afraid now, I won't let ya' go. You just focus on making their ears bleed and blow up!" Blaze cheerfully tried to offer words of comfort, but of course it became an eerie image of dark mages suffering. ...Well it's not like there was a reason to be subtle and merciful! These guys totally had it coming, Blaze thought. Not a second later the two girls were flying toward the dark guild's HQ. They were in for a hell of a surprise...!

"Whenever you're ready, Aurora!" Blaze shouted above the roar of the wind and flames. They were about to pass over the castle...
"Don't underestimate the Guild Mages, Kinzoku... It isn't as if they'll be a real problem, but keep your wits about you." Johnny shrugged, sat in his chair in the main hall with most of his subordinates at his side. ...Most. Kaze wasn't around, not even in the castle or the town. So where...
There was another knock on the door a few minutes after Cronic left for Arcadia's Cauldron. Despite having one job to deal with, quite a risky one at that, what's to say they couldn't take on another request for later? Aria slid her chair to one side and strolled over to the door, but she stopped as she heard not-so-friendly noises. Focusing for a moment, she noticed the sound of lightning sparks surging up and a sword being carefully unsheathed. This was clearly no customer...! "Go upstairs, Mr. Client. We have some unwelcome visitors," Aria quietly told the man, who panicked and ran for the upstairs rooms muttering something about being found so easily.

"For the true Dragonborn!" A sinister voice rang outside. Aria narrowly dived behind her desk as she felt a surge of power outside the door. A Thu'um was cast... There was only a single, weak 'Fus', meaning that the apparent shouting bastard wasn't very versed in the Dragons tongue. Still, it was enough to blow the door off it's hinges. As the dust settled the three cultists ran inside, only to find the Odd Jobs' boss sat on the desk twirling her katana around like it was a damn toy! Bone masks, robes, magic users. Yep, these were the guys!

"...You're gonna pay for that with gold or steel, but either way, you don't just get to barge in here. What's it gonna be? Pay up cash or push up daisies," Aria made her offer. The three cultists obviously didn't like this cocky kid from the moment she opened her mouth. She was in the way. Their witness was in this building, they just had to find him... And that meant going straight through the stupid brat who openly challenged them.
Whiterun's streets fell very quiet all of a sudden, with the exception being the one-word Thu'um outside the Odd Jobs shop. Everyone outside at the time of the cultists' entrance to the city was paralysed by magic. Those inside couldn't exactly witness what was going on, but they could probably hear it all happening.

"Aren't we supposed to do this quietly? Sorjal already used a shout!" A muffled voice came from outside Arcadia's. "Well then let's just do this quickly instead. The magic will wear off soon. Remember, everyone in here dies - no loose ends." With that, the door burst open, with two cultists charging inside... They knew Cronic was here, and they were going to kill him and the shopkeeper so she wouldn't become a witness also.
...I concur. Wha? o_o
"Ugh, fine. Thane will just have to miss out on the fun, wherever he ran off to." Saren muttered. Sure enough, Dragonblood knew about this before anyone else did. Heck, they were the ones who tipped off the Council! Their Sea Dragon Slayer had left a day earlier though, stating that he had something that needed to be tied up. It's not like the rest of the team needed him though... Saren, Kurai and Kinzoku were more than a match for most powerful mages. "...By land or by flight?" he asked his two subordinates rather casually.
Zephyr rolled his eyes and stood up, feeling his control collar kicking in. Minerva's will was now their will, but it was odd in a way that they could still talk and think for themselves. They just couldn't act for themselves. "Fuck no. We might take one or two of them down before we go down, unfortunately. I sure hope that gunslinger chick isn't coming our way... Or Kurai, Kinzoku, Saren- Oh god damn it! I don't want any of them to die because of us... But what can we do?"

He felt the urge to walk suddenly, and he and Takashi would not-so-obediently follow Minerva's mental command to head outside their dungeon and head into the underground portion of the castle. They would guard Minerva's chambers shield generator until they died, or killed everything that got in their way. Either way - after tonight, no life would exist. ...Given all things went to plan.
"C'mere! Let's race the Dragon Slayers!" Amelia laughed as she held on to Chris and started using flames underneath them as a boosting force. Skating on fire, they'd arrive soon enough.

Arthur wouldn't dare turn down her ladyship's command, swiftly breaking into a fast sprint despite the 'extra load'. Of course, he was going to be tired by the time they reached the fight this way... "Wait. Jessica, if you can do fuses, ...don't you have anything with wings? Or something like a cheetah?" he asked, though his tone made it clear he wasn't trying to suggest. It was just a question, ...and if Jessie saw fit to make this easier, that would be her choice!

Rico had finished telling Yuuki how he'd come back without a scratch and all that, and now he was chasing after Emily as she pulled a reluctant Aegis along. One thing was for sure: Shirahamas fuckin' loved to get into fights! Honestly, Rico couldn't wait to smash someone's teeth in either - they made a mess of his and Yuuki's date timing! Aegis gradually picked himself up and was soon running with his girl. This time he wouldn't be on the receiving end of her inhuman power, this time they were going to cause double the damage, together!

(Let's have the reinforcements arrive in a few more posts!)
(I remembered her name by the way, Joey's little white kittycat! ;3)

Skyler, Rook and Rin were carrying the ones who would be first to fight. Misaki, Melissa and Tamotsu were probably going for the nearest punching bags they could find when they arrived, while Hana would take.. a slightly different approach.

"Rin, can you use your max speed when we come into view? On the screenshots I saw the main hall had a kind of reddish glow coming from it. I want you to get me there - she'll be there..." Hana explained to the white Exceed. They could see it already. The castle was the size of the damn mountain - the interior of the place was supposedly all tucked away into the mountain too, where all the equipment to keep defences going would probably be hidden away, safe from bombardment. There were so many levels, so many defence lines. But near the top, there was the grand hall where a red glow was beaming out into the night sky. The other light was purple, coming from the top of a tower that extended up into the clouds. That was the magic focusing cannon - that needed to be stopped too.

"Tamotsu... Do you smell something familiar? Deep in the castle... Really vaguely, but I swear that's.. your brother. And that Ice bastard." Misa spoke up as they approached. There were so many dark mages and their mass-produced staves down there, they looked like ants! They were prepared. Or, as prepared as they could be against the two Dragon Slayers. Meli could technically be one too, but the same went for her either way. These evil people, ...they could never be ready for something like this trio.

Skyler smirked at Rook as he prepared to go into max speed. "Here goes! Is everyone ready?!" he shouted above the increasing rage of the wind. Hana was going to help Rin's speed using her magic, and she'd be like a damn cannonball of a Saito when she made her entrance!

"Rin, now!" Hana yelled. This was it!
