Backstory: What all Sith, even 'wannabe Sith' want, is power of their own. Tavion's Apprentice began to build up a little power base of her own, plucking her own Apprentice from the ranks of the Disciples. Alora's Apprentice stood out from the many 'grunts with lightsabers', apparently having had her
real Force-sensitivity awakened by the sudden burst of power given to her by the Scepter of Ragnos. Even so, all of that power wouldn't last long once the Scepter changed hands - she would be just like anyone else who had their power gifted. Without real training, she would be nothing.
Arisa grew up on Nar'Shaddaa as a slave to a Hutt, just as her mother was. She never knew her father, because hey, scum don't stick around for too long do they? It was a disgusting and harsh existence, but the young Twi'lek continued to tell herself what her mother had always told her: at least she was alive. Sometimes the threat of death still sounded better than a life of slavery... Her mother was eventually taken off-world, never to be seen again by her daughter. When Arisa reached the age of eighteen, her world took a change for what she saw was undoubtedly better - anything not related to slimy Hutts sounded wonderful! Tavion Axmis and Alora came to the Hutt's palace seeking out a Sith artifact to drain energy from, and after some sour negotiations the two started about massacring the Hutt and all his people. Heck, maybe they just didn't want to leave any loose ends. They freed his slaves afterwards but forced them to become Disciples, and of the slaves, Arisa was the only one who willingly took a knee for the two Sith. She was dedicated from that moment to serving and growing stronger under the Disciples of Ragnos.
Alora took a keen interest in the girl's abilities after she'd been gifted power in the Force by Tavion. It didn't take long for Arisa to realise her potential either, and took a lot of pride in being above others. So, while it lasted, Alora had an Apprentice who she'd train in her own style, more or less making a blue-skinned copy of herself, minus the Imperial accent. They had to part eventually, with Alora heading to Taspir to keep Rosh Penin under watch, while Arisa went to Yalara to help capture an ancient planetary cloaking device. However, after the mission's success things started to go downhill. Something definitely wasn't right...
