The all-icy Aegis would be lying if he said he wasn't distracted by the girl's beauty. He couldn't really tell because of her suit, but.. it just felt like she was a 'worthy prize'. "And if you win, ...I die don't I?" Aegis shrugged, quickly breaking from his casual mood and throwing a wave bullet at the girl's feet. It's not that he didn't want to take her down, he just wanted to send her flying to make sure she was defenceless when he threw more.
"G-Guards!" One of the roundest of the Council shouted, pressing a button underneath his desk like a madman. Unfortunately the Enforcers below were occupied with a certain Crash Mage, who was taking great enjoyment in wrecking the whole lower level.

Another of the Council who didn't look so old and lazy growled defiantly and began trying to hit Ryuji with his finger-shot bullet magic. Another joined in and tried to slash the young Shirahama with their arm engulfed in darkness magic. At least they were putting up a fight.

...Though the majority were still fat useless bastards who had everyone else do their bidding.
Aria seemed distant as the battle was being planned out by those older than her, the ones more capable of holding their own. The little girl with twintails was content enough playing with her new Exceed friend off in one corner of the camp, but not too far away from the others. Then she caught on to what Winter was saying, ...she could take the town, sure. But it might be a tough fight if the defenders were good enough at countering the magic she used. It might be safer to have a bunch of enchantments being cast on her. Then Aria thought it might be a bad idea to suggest that - what if she got in the way of Winter's fight?

After Winny voiced her idea, Aria picked up Skyler in her arms and stepped nervously toward the others. "S.. So.. Where should I be during all of this?" She asked the group.

...Come to think of it, she could be doing a lot more than just standing back and supporting with her new cat's help. Exceeds could fly really fast, which might come in handy.
"Heh. How many near-death experiences did it take to earn you that strength then? I doubt the one I know could crush skulls with his pinky, and he's been thrashed to hell and back..." Aegis teased, despite feeling a little nervy at the aura of pressure surrounding her.
"Making new door," Rico said as he casually walked fist-first into the concrete tunnel. He made his own little tunnel beside the oh-so-impregnable entrance, and burst through with a smug expression on his face. There they were. Enforcers on various consoles and computers around the command center. And of course, the bunch of scheming bastards sitting at a round table in a conference room above all this. One of them looked out the window and shouted something behind the soundproof glass, causing all the others to gather at the window and stare down at Rico & Ryuji. All over the command center the Enforcers began to leave their assigned posts and ready themselves for battle... They looked uncertain, wavering almost. For two kids to have gotten this far into the complex was unheard of. In fact, no hostile presence had ever stood in this room!

"More of these guys, huh?" Rico yawned and stretched his arms out ready for round two.
Hah! x3 But the future will be so awesome if they make it through~
"Wow, that was cold." Aegis said neutrally as he turned off the wave barrier and faced the new enemy. The damn masked chick here just nabbed an easy victory from under his feet... Now he'd probably need to work for it. Oh well. "Just be happy they were already weakened from fighting us, otherwise it wouldn't have been so easy. ...But anyway, you're not allowed to get past me."
"~We were never here~" Luka giggled as the two left the area. At the moment she was questioning whether she was on the right side or not... But whatever happened, she was with Tamotsu - and she would never doubt the Academy's brave young mages.
Rico smirked at Ryuji's remark about a guardian angel. "We're the good guys like in the movies. Even if we're not that super powerful or anything, we've always got people looking out for us. Whoever that was they were a damn good shot. There was barely a second between the hits!" He chuckled as they were about to enter the underground base. There was the metal door right there... Needed an eye scan to open it. They could go all the way back and grab some idiot to shove into the scanner, or...

"Make a new door?" Rico deadpanned.
Cannon fodder is cannon fodder. They are doomed to be character food. *nods*
Damn Kaji is violent o_o
Yeps! ^_^
"Well, Mr. Sawada... I suppose if I killed you here it would just end it all more quickly. Buuuut, ...then I'll be vilified, won't I? I'd give that disease another day or so to kill you. It can't be long now... We'll be able to take your whole Family out so easy with the kid in charge! Not long now, no sir~" The firey-haired man chuckled as he stood up to leave. As he reached the door however, he pulled a gun on Sora and fired a single shot at the sickly man's heart. The red flames surrounding the bullet wound began to intensify before long, while the Diavolo Famiglia's boss blew the smoke off the pistol's barrel.

"Pff, I couldn't wait that long!" He laughed, "...Not after all you put me through anyway..." He said proudly as he left the room, and then house just as quickly.

Sora was left there in the living room, blood seeping out of his chest as storm flames continued to spread across his body from the inside. Even so, ...the man didn't even scream - he almost looked like he was meditating as his insides were torn apart and disintegrated. "...Calthorn, I want you to protect what I'm leaving behind." Sora said calmly, his eyes opening and his gaze turning to the exact space the to-be Mist Guardian was hiding invisibly in. Sky flames replaced the blood red fire, and within a second he had disappeared.
Ami considered what troubles Dad might have, but couldn't come up with anything. All his visiting pals seemed to be very nice ladies and gentlemen. He must have taken a wrong turn somewhere, or maybe something important was going to happen at work! See, Ami didn't actually know anything about Dad's work life other than 'it's extremely important'.

"Come on 'Nata... I doubt anything serious is- UGH!"

It felt like somebody bypassed flesh and bone, then grabbed a hold of her soul and tried to crush it into little pieces. She fell to her knees and pulled her arms tight around herself. It only lasted a second, but every measure of Ami's existence seemed to become engulfed in pain. That wasn't the reason for her tears though, even if it seemed like it. She didn't know why she was crying, but it definitely wasn't the sudden shock. It went deeper, and she couldn't understand why...

"Hinata, we need to go right now! I don't know why, just..." Ami coughed painfully and tried to pull herself back to her feet.

And on cue to make this whole situation much worse, suited figures began approaching the Nanami household - but only marching on the front door for now.
All over Namimori men in suits, carrying guns began to show themselves. Fortunately they weren't outright capping people on sight - they had a list of HVTs they wanted dead or captured. Still, anyone outside was warned to go return home or find the nearest shelter at gunpoint.

The Vongola Famiglia was caught off guard, and the only one left to call the legitimate Boss was already close to getting captured by the hostile mafia.

The peace in Namimori was being thoroughly disrupted, ...hint hint.
"Uh... Leo. Sniper, rooftop, end of the street, two o'clock. And a few more on the street, coming out of the alleyway. ...Those.. aren't Vongola.. are they?" Ruby whispered, ...in the car where nobody outside could hear her spotting targets anyway. And there it was. The stormy weather, the foreign country, the long fricking plane/car ride, ...and now this.

"...Damn it, I want back to Italy now."
"Well of course not, being confined to a bacta tank and all..." Erin said to Vor'loch, her ever-so-slight smile indicating that she didn't mean it in an offensive manner or anything. Joking wasn't her strong suit, and she didn't know exactly what other Jedi took as humor. Master Sabalya wasn't so serious, leading young Erin to believe it was alright... Maybe she'd just spent too little time talking to others, and far too much time training. The girl looked at Jerek questioningly - only now did it occur to her that she only caught the tail end of what the others were talking about. Her new messy-haired pal here took her attention aw- ...okay, she wasn't even listening in the first place! It's not like she could blame her poor 'downtime attention span' on Jerek.

"Well, so far I've heard that we're going to Nar'Shaddaa..." Erin started, her eyes rolling back to Vor'loch, then to Jerek again as she waited for his own input.
