James laughed, as he listened to his friend sing. "Personally, I think you've excelled yourself today, Lt. Well done. They should award you a medal for that performance" James spoke over the comms to Jax. James dipped his hand into a side pocket, pulling out a $10 note. "Here, Sergeant. Here's the start of a fund for that satellite radio. I'm sure we can get a pool going, and get nearly there, before the tour is over" James smiled. "Where we heading? We're just going for a little drive. Sight-see a little. Maybe pop to the local shop, and pick up a souvenir" James said, looking up to Dominic. "No, we're doing a patrol. Looping around the base, making sure we're seen. Any one who gets ideas for an attack on the base, should see us, and think twice"

Has everyone ignored my post about the vehicle?

There was at least two occupied Humvees, and my Captain was in the first, without Kenny, and as you addressed Kenny, my guy didn't respond! Sorry, I love you dude.

"You heard, load up. Let's roll out" Captain James said, climbing into the Humvee. He tapped the side of his door, and then looked at Nate. "Lead the way, Sergeant" The Captain smiled. He clicked on his radio, "Lt. Jax, I expect your southern charm, sing us a song. It might be an order" James said, clicking off. "Forgive me, Sergeant, try not to crash" James said to Nate, and then clicked back on the comms. "If he sings, I do apologise.. But we need some sort of entertainment while we're on patrol"

"Greetings, I'm Captain James" James said, giving Kenny a salute. "Welcome to our little family. Don't mind these guys, they're a little slow at times.. But they're lovely" James said with a smile. He turned to Jax, who asked. "You want me to permit you, to be alone with our Medic? That's like asking my medic to put a gun to herself, and shoot. Do you not like sitting in the same Humvee as me? Your request is accepted." James said smiling. "Right, serious time now. Fall in, listen up. Full gear out there, and nobody, and I mean nobody. Shoots first. We don't engage, unless engaged first, and Medic. Let's not have too many heroics out there. Don't risk your life, if one of these fellows gets themselves a paper cut. Copy? Everybody, copy?"

I think I'll probably be the best at first line? Can I pop a grenade in there? Just make the bomb explode that way?

James turned to Jax. "Remind me to get you some English speaking classes. Half of those words you just said, they went in, and then out. At a guess, you said something about biscuits? You make me miss NYC. Where people spoke properly" James smiled, joking to his friend and colleague. If you served together, the jokes came as part, but have no doubt. James would surrender his own life, if it was to save Jax, or any of his people. James turned to face the Sniper. "Gun Sergeant" He said, returning the salute. "Hop in, we can use you. Your eyes" James smiled, waiting for more soldiers.

Jax went off to play the Hero. "Lt. Jax, I am sure she is no damsel in distress, but a member of the U.S forces, who can handle herself!"

James starred blankly at Jax. "You've just insulted me, remind me to send you on the first plane home" James said, and then broke into a smile. "I've been awake for the past two hours. Good morning to you, too" James said, spotting Nathanael on jump off the humvee, and he returned the salute with a crisp salute of his own. He always like professionalism, and it was easy for a soldier to forget it in this heat. "Good morning Sergeant, at ease" James said, ending his own salute. "Is she up and ready?" He asked, looking towards the humvee. "I want us to do a patrol, a few miles out of the base, loop around. Make sure there's no new surprises out there" James said, as he stepped towards the Humvee, checking the wheels, and outside first. "Sergeant, round me up a squad. We'll need the company for the patrol, can't go just us"
