You know those old Saturday morning cartoons you used to watch as a child? Where the hero and his team would always win despite how daunting the task may seem? We were so innocent back then, life was simpler and everything seemed fair. Sadly real life is anything but fair...

In the real world so much pain is normal we dig our heels and endure it for the sake of being part of society. We are told that we have no choice because we live in a world where the rich gain money from other peoples hard work, where art is a business and we buy things just to make ourselves look good, where the one who is meant to instill justice to criminals is actually the biggest criminal himself. People say that so long as you work hard you will be successful and they are the biggest lairs.

Life is unfair but that isn't why you are here. You are here because like everyone else here you resorted to being a criminal in the eyes of the world. Either for revenge, justice, a sense of duty whatever the reason may be. At first you were all victims of the infamous serial murderer blood eye they are called this because the victims eyes bleed and keep bleeding until they simply die from blood loss or infection. It is a horrendous way to go and their is no cure, the only reason you know its not a disease is because of a simple fact. Your loved one, your friend, someone you cared about, they all were given a letter signaling they were the next target. Of course they called police, called in favors, even tried leaving the country. None of these have worked and have all died the same way. Clearly the police wont do their job, are you willing to do anything to get your brand of justice or vengeance? What will happen when you discover that the killer is actually a small cog in a bigger and much darker machine...

First off thanks for reading till the end of that story :) I want to first state that this reality is something I made up save for the persona elements we will obviously be using. As a result we will be delving into new territory, I have only played Persona 5 and what little i know of the universe i learned from someone else so please don't be afraid to join if you find the idea interesting but don't know about persona in general. Keep in mind that what we will do is mostly use the information from Persona 5 which is the most recent game to my knowledge. So first off I will explain what a persona is to those that don't already know:

Persona (What is a persona?)

I will do my best to explain to my own understanding, keep in mind I am using information i have gained through said friend stated earlier and my own experience in the game. I will also provide links to each topic as I explain them.

A Persona is the manifestation of a persons inner self. We all live with a mask that we wear so we can deal with everyday life. These masks come in many forms of course and appear because we try to fit into society instead of going against it. This could be as simple as pretending to be smarter then you actually are in class or to the more extreme of blending in while having murderous impulse within a psychopath killer. However these masks are formed they are created and left deep inside our hearts where a normal person wouldn't ever reach or change.
Certain conditions need to be meet in order to even have ones mask rise to the surface. I will explain that later of course, however when one rips off their mask this is a literal sense of discarding the you that followed the rules, discarding the you that endured everything simply to fit in, and discarding of the you that you simply couldn't accept anymore. This then leads to what is known as your "persona manifestation" this causes your true self to come to the surface and fight under your command.
Their is some times known to be second awakening when you fulfill certain requirements but that will be revealed as the rp moves forward.

Next thing to understand is Arcana:

Arcana (what is this and how does it effect me?)

Arcana refers to the character themselves and is connected to a persons persona. The Arcana refer to the 22 tarot cards of the same name. The tarot or Arcana is more closely related to the person and how they act. Sometimes that Persona's fate matches that of the player character, or personality attributes, and so on, but they in some fashion need to be similar. They are big indicators of how your character acts as a person both in the real world and in the second one where your persona can manifest which will be explained another time. Think of the Arcana as a representation of your character and how they act around other people. I will write a list on the Arcana as it will be first come first serve. For now simply look through the list i will provide and make your character at the very least similar to what is described for whom you choose to be. Keep in mind that reverse tarot will be allowed.

This is each individual explanation keep in mind however that both the Judgement and World Personas wont be playable:

• The fool: He who begins the journey is a jack of all trades, he is the one that unites the others as they travel down the path
• The Magician: The one who uses their talents in order to realize their potential they the magic wielders the ones of knowledge and skill
• The Priestess: She with hidden knowledge and the one with hidden power yet to be tapped
• The Empress: The mother that loves, she who fertility, comfort, and protection come naturally and feels for others
• The Emperor: He who seeks control and will do everything to attain it for they feel no other path is acceptable
• The Hierophant: He who delivers education and is the spiritual seer to all
• The lovers: They who reveal the spirit of romance, the crossroads of the easy path or the right path
• The Chariot: They who are driven and determined to make their own path
• Justice: They who their form of justice be it revenge or fairness do so at a critical trial
• The Hermit: He who asks why and gains knowledge at the expense of solitude
• Fortune: They who seek opportunity and believes in adaptation rather then luck
• Strength: They who believe in self control and virtue rather then brute force
• The Hanged Man: The survivor who is pulled between the two realities of their existence
• Death: They who embody metamorphosis and change and search within the mystery of death itself
• Temperance: They who seek balance within their lives
• The Devil: They who do everything for themselves and give into greed and impulse
• The Tower: He who is his own greatest enemy and runs towards their own ruin
• The Star:They who are of strong hope and faith
• The Moon: They who hide themselves by trying to be the ideal person and as such has hidden depths
• The Sun: They who are the light no matter the darkness of the situation

I will take this opportunity to explain what will make this group function as an organization so to speak:

• First you are all victims of the blood eye cases
• Secondly you feel you need to find the killer it doesn't matter what reason you give your character but you must feel it strongly enough to go to any lengths to find said killer.

Your characters must have both these requirements in order to join this rp
please know that this will allow this group to form more cohesively and with greater direction. After all none of you know each other and their is no reason to trust one another but these two facts are what will give the group its common goal to strive towards despite this.

Rules:
1. What the Gm and co Gm says is law but we will listen to reason and will take suggestions.
2. You can kill each other but only if both parties agree to the death.
3. I don't mind if you get into a heated discussion OOC, however, any arguments that become name calling and hostile I will ask that you go to your PM we are not children so don't act like it.
4.Your Persona must be based off a realistic or fictional character: good examples are Arsene Lupin, Zorro, Genghis khan Bad examples: Naruto, Ichigo, Or making something up
5. You must follow at least a few of the behaviors of your chosen Arcana within your character, they don't need to be exact but enough that you can say you follow its example
6. As proof you looked over this write down Phantom thieves

As this is an interest check i will not post up the character sheet until i am sure this has enough interest.

The turian raised an eyebrow at the question but didn't question it. He then said "only the captain or the lead researcher in charge of the vessel would have access. That would only be allowed on their return however, otherwise the only ones with constant access to the files would be a lead researcher of their departments" he explained. He then pressed a few buttons on his omnitool and revealed the faces and names of the lead researcher of each department.

At the message the commander frowned a bit before messaging 'keep investigating we will check the ship' as they kept moving and soon enough found the ship which was marked for destruction into scrap metal. The ship looked like hell although the question was if this was intentional or not

It didn't take long for them to look and at his mention of the surda he grew curious since he thought it was just a virtual intelligence. He then said "I'm surprised you heard about that so quickly. Yes that transport was going to be sent to another research lab but what happened was the ship got attacked. We were told by bandits according to the lone survivor. The rest of that crew were killed" he said sadly.

When the commander got the information she nodded to herself before she went back to searching. She then asked about the ship and got the same answer. When told that she asked to be seen to the survivor and where their transports are in case their was something off about how it all happened.

None would openly voice their agreement to what she said as they kept doing their research. As he asked about his V.I. the turian would be apprehensive letting a foreign entity into their system but he would not argue. He went to a nearby terminal and placed the proper authorization before saying "connect her through this terminal if you would." He offered before once again taking a step back.

The commander and Angelo were still searching however they found something interesting. Or rather the lack of something that was interesting. They found that the initial test subjects were not there. At this realization the commander typed a message to urtum and asked 'please search records for any recent transports carrying research subjects. Lack found in the lab, please confirm'

He nodded and said "and I agree. We get much more done together then apart but what we can we really do when our leaders force our hands to do otherwise" he said as they soon reached the archives and he watched as he started to go to work.

When the commander got the message she wrote back to keep her informed on what he finds. For them they soon got to the facility that had the means to manufacture the immortals. They were off course free to look the place over the commander then used her omnitool to start scanning everything

As they walked through to the archives the turian sighed as he talked about how inefficient it was. When he mentioned that their equipment was last he scratched one of his facial plates and said "that's to be expected. While we are approved as a research facility none of our home planets want to expose their latest advancements to the others for fear of loosing an edge. Each department is deliberately given older models to use for research. The only places with current and even advanced equipment at the areas that are exclusive for that species." He explained as they soon found their way to the large archive looking like a grand library with many younger scientists researching and looking through them.

In the mean time the commander and Angelo kept moving forward following the salarian to where they were meant to find the facility able to produced the monstrosities on the planet Angelo had searched.

When their resident scientist spoke up the commander listened. She was no scientist and if it would help he felt his strengths should be used elsewhere. She nodded and said "please have someone escort our scientist to you archives so he can get a closer look at your results" while the turian was a bit apprehensive he nodded and decided to take him.
