Determining your writing level? Casual or Advanced?

I think the main difference between Casual and Advanced is how much depth is contained in the writing. Casual posts I think tend to focus more on the direct action occurring in the RP while Advanced posts tend to delve into past events and how the characters reacted to them and how it affects them now. In other words, the level of character development is different. At least that is what I have noticed.

Oooooo...I love the idea of playing a muggleborn whose parents were killed by Death Eaters during the war. Maybe they join this society out of vengeance.

I didn't really want to take on a group RP at this time, but since I'm having trouble finding a 1x1 atm I'm potentially interested in this. I'd love to play a member of the French Resistance who gets caught up in all the war ravaging through France. I feel I could find a way to make it work.

[High casual-advanced]Searching for a long-term character driven story!

~The basics~ Due to somewhat limited internet access these days I am currently only accepting one RP(possibly two if you can persuade me). This means I'm bound to be picky in what I accept. I want a long lasting character driven story, preferably with romance. Romance is not usually a requirement for me, but lately I've been craving it so if it's not your thing then I suggest turning back now(I'm not looking for smut so if that's your thing then also please turn back.) ~The genres~ I try to retain an open mind in what I roleplay, but like anybody else I have my preferences. Firstly, pretty much anything in a historical setting will capture my interest. If that's not your thing then feel free to suggest anything else. I don't bite! Unless you're asking me to take on the role of a canon character within a fandom universe that is. I will also especially adore anybody who shows interest in any of the below options... In short, I enjoy realistic character development. It is a must for me. Nobody is going to learn everything overnight, for example. I also enjoy darker plots so be prepared to carry your characters to hell and back. Whether it's family drama, tragedy, political intrigue, betrayal, or anything else it's welcomed! Plotting is fun so communication throughout the RP is key; if you have an idea then feel free to throw it past me! Lastly, this will be over thread. I'm just not really comfortable RPing over PM, email, or any other medium.
