Amelia shrugs. "Just go see Aya about ir. I'm sure she won't make a huge deal about it." She yawns slightly as she looks around the camp. "Pretty quiet today, you're here at a good time. Usually people are running all over, yelling...fighting. " she shoots a sharp look at Misha and Kianna.

Jett sighed, "Well then I guess not much has changed since I left." He followed her gaze and frowned slightly, not recognizing either girl. "What sort of drama has been going around the Rabin camp, anyway?" he asked curiously.

Amelia bites her lip. "Not today. Give it... a week. Let her settle down and get used to having you around more." she nods firmly. She looks at him. "How's that nose doing?" She asks.

Jett nodded in agreement. "Yeah, I'll talk to her then." At the mention of his nose, he realized it really had begun to throb again, so he pressed the cloth against it. "The bleeding stopped, but it really hurts," he admitted. "Hopefully it's not broken," he sighed, truly hoping he wouldn't have to deal with the embarrassment of Sacha breaking his nose.

Amelia sighs heavily. "If she has that much anger and rage when you barely spoke, I think it's safe to say she's still hurting. I think you should talk to her. Even if it's just to be clear about why she's angry." she shrugs. "If you want to be a Rabin again, you should have every right to be a Rabin again. We're the better group, and we shouldn't send people away." She says, assuming that he wanted to rejoin the group.

Jett nodded slowly, but his head jerked up at the mention of rejoining the Rabins. He hadn't even considered that, and it still seemed pretty far-fetched at the moment. He wasn't even positive that was something he'd be interested in if he stayed on dangerous terms with the group leader. "Thanks, you're right, I probably should talk to her," he sighed. "Hopefully she's just not feeling violent this time."

Amelia blinks, finding it hard that her leader would ever do that. She bites her lip as he finishes. "Oh geez Jett. I'm sorry." She glances at Sacha's tent. "She probably never mentioned you because she was so upset that you left." She exhales and looks back at him. "Have you tried actually having a conversation about that night? Why you left, how you felt? Instead of being so angry at her about everything?"

Jett glanced at Sacha's tent and sighed. "I'm not sure how open to conversation she is with me," he pointed out, dabbing his nose again with the bloodied cloth. He looked back at Amelia with a pained expression. "You said she was happy before I came. Would I just be making her life that much more difficult if I tried to bring it up with her?" he asked hesitantly.

Amelia huffs slightly. "I'll be right back." She shifts and scampers into her tent and then runs back out with a small cloth in her mouth. She then shifts human and holds it out to him. "For your nose." She says before sitting next to him, watching him a moment. "So how come you left?" She asks curiously. "I mean, if you didn't want to, and she obviously didn't want you to either."

Jett blinked gratefully at her and took the cloth, dabbing the dried blood from his face. He froze at her question and thought deeply. "Well... it was a long time ago, but I remember that day perfectly." He paused and glanced at her, trying to read her expression, but he only found genuine curiosity, so he continued on. "It was the absolute worst day of my life. Sacha had gone out on a morning border patrol, but when she hadn't returned after a few hours, I checked along her route just to be sure she was safe. I found her unconscious by the border, bloody and badly hurt from a fight with some Broms looking for trouble. I sprinted back to the camp as fast as I could, carrying her in my arms, and immediately handed her over to the healers." Jett shivered at the frightening memory. "They told me she'd be okay, so I stayed by her side all night. I'd been asking her for months before that day to consider stepping down as leader, or even just being more careful near the border, but she never listened. So when she finally woke up, I begged her to leave the forest with me so we could go somewhere safe, somewhere where we could live a normal life together and be happy... but she couldn't. She looked me in the eye and told me that the Rabins would always come first to her." He closed his eyes and sighed, his voice trembling slightly. "Once she fell back asleep, I decided I'd rather remember her alive from a distance than find her dead on the border another day," he whispered. "The Rabins always were her first and true love anyways," he added sourly.

Amelia blinks at the sudden hostility, instantly becoming defensive as she steps away from him warily. "I mean, Sacha's our leader, so we have to care about when she's upset, and you obviously did something, so..." She then frowns a bit. "Sacha never even mentioned you after you left Jett." She tilts her head, narrowing her eyes in thought. "Jett, she was crying for three days after you left." she shakes her head. "You really hurt her, whatever you did."

Jett's anger vanished as suddenly as it had appeared, leaving him with an unbearable sensation of emptiness. He sat back down on the ground and put his head in his hands, and stayed there in silence for a long moment. "She didn't even mention me?" he whispered, half to Amelia, half to himself. He took a breath, gathered himself a bit, and looked to Amelia solemnly. "Trust me, it sure wasn't easy on me either." He sighed and ran one hand through his disheveled hair. "She certainly made her feelings on the matter clear."

"If Sacha were a smarter leader, she would have cut off one of your ears or something." Amelia snaps. "Two weeks?! You do realize the pair of you are going to shout and argue all that time right?!" She scowls at him. "You're going to irritate the shit out of me. But I guess it's all about Sacha. And all about Jett. And all about your little drama isn't it?" She sneers.

Jett gritted his teeth and advanced towards her until they were only a foot apart. He looked down at her with an icy glare and growled, "Who are you to talk to me about my relationship with Sacha?" He felt his pent up frustration bubbling to the surface. "I mean, what the hell would we even have to fight about? I learned a long time ago how fucking useless it is to try to get her to listen to me anyways," he spat. "What I didn't expect, though, was to find that she'd turned everyone was against me, as well," he muttered, eyeing her suspiciously.

Amelia narrows her eyes at him. "Jett?" She breathes, then kicks his shin as hard as she can, before glaring angrily at him. "You're a real piece of work you know that!" She hisses, careful to keep her voice down as well. "Your stupid face! How could I ever forget. But that grin? Oh ho, I could never forget that." She scowls. "Why are you back here?!"

"Dammit," Jett hissed as he shook his leg loosely, trying to ease the pain he felt in his throbbing shin. The Rabins haven't exactly rolled out the welcome wagon today, he thought scathingly. He glared back at her and snapped quietly, "I told you, I just need a place to stay, so Sacha gave me two weeks. You know I wouldn't have come back here to face everyone if I had any other choice," he pointed out, a look of pain crossing his face.

Amelia scoffs at his tone, rolling her eyes. "You know what? I don't give a crap what Sacha orders you. I'm bored and I wanted to come over and have a---" She cuts off and steps back, glaring coldly at him. "How do you know my name?" She growls, glancing at her crossbow by her tent. "You say you're not a Brom but seem to know an awful lot about this camp, my leader, AND my name?!" She balls her hands into fists. "Who are you?"

Jett sighs in frustration and glances around the clearing to make sure there was no one else around---especially Sacha. He knew there was no point in hiding the truth from her any longer, so he leaned closer to her and said softly, "How well do you remember what Sacha's 'stupid ex or whatever' looked like?" He cracked a small smile at her.
<Snipped quote by jaywing93>

Amelia shrugs a bit. "She's supposedly got a date tonight. But that's as far as I know. Sacha's personal life is quite boring to me." She lets out a loud, exaggerated yawn. "Anyway, Sacha doesn't just punch someone. I find it hard to believe you're just a punching bag. And honestly, she's been in a good mood before you suddenly showed up. So tell me. What did you do to her to make her hate you so soon after arriving?"

Jett snorted contemptuously at the mention of Sacha's date. He stared at the ground while Amelia went on, and was silent for a while before he knew how to reply. Should I tell her it's me? he wondered hesitantly. He gave the tiniest shake of his head, deciding against it for now. He turned and looked her straight in the eyes, and, avoiding her question, said cautiously, "Sacha ordered me not to converse with any of the Rabins. Why do you care so much anyways, Amelia?" Jett froze, immediately realizing that, in his anger, he had called her by name.
