"I'm not telling you what to do," Vera sighed. "But you'll deal with a whole lot less heartbreak if you just keep quiet for now. If you leave again without talking to Fabine, you know he won't take that very well," she pointed out. She shivered slightly at the thought of ending up on his bad side. "I'm suggesting that you calm down and don't do anything irrational."

Destin keeps pulling, trying to slow their progress to camp, but failing since he was so small. He sighs heavily. "I like that girl...She and I like each other..." He looks down "we've been meeting at the river a few times in the past months..." He kicks at the ground. "I just....I'm not happy inthe Broms anymore."

Vera let out a long sigh. "Well, I don't have much experience with love, but that does make it difficult." She paused and glanced down at the small, struggling healer and her eyes glazed over with sympathy. "I had friends that used to say this much though: sometimes you need to let the things you love go. But if it comes back to you, then it's yours." She chuckled slightly. "I never really understood that much, but maybe it'd mean more to you."

"I can't be of much help while I'm holding on to you," Vera pointed out irritably, her mind racing as she tried to think of a Brom in camp that could keep Destin in the camp until Fabine returned to speak with him. Maybe Elauna? she thought, or pretty much anyone that would respect Fabine's orders at this point. As they hurried, Vera glanced at Destin out of the corner of her eye. "Destin... why did you leave? Honestly. Was is Fabine? Or was it that girl, or something else...?"

Destin watches the fight out of the corner of his eyes. His eyes widen and he puts his hands over his mouth. Knowing Vera, he figured she would go after Fabine, and he could go back to the rabins, even if he should stay and help...

Vera sighed, wincing as she watched the fierce battle between Kianna and Fabine. She knew it wasn't her place to intervene, but she still felt personally responsible if her leader went and got himself hurt. She turned back to Destin and nodded towards the Brom camp. "C'mon, I've got to get you back," she said briskly and hurriedly pulled him away from the river.

Vera attempted to silence him with a fierce gaze. Her eyes became worried as she turned her attention back to Fabine and Kianna. "Fabine, do you, should I...?" she began, referring to whether or not she should help, although he seemed pretty personally invested in this battle. And I need to keep this kid from running back to those Rabins the first chance he gets.

Destin whimpers and tugs at his arm. "Please Vera...I don't want to go back to the Broms. Fabine's going to kill me! You know that! I'm a traitor..." He looks down, tears in his eyes. "I just want to be happy, and you know i'll never be happy with the Broms!"

Vera looked at Destin sympathetically. "Look Destin, I know Fabine is insane sometimes, but the reason that he was so insistent on bringing you home was because he needs you. All of us do... And you can't just disappear on us like that and expect us to just be okay with it," she pointed out frustratedly. "I'm not the one to be bargaining with. You're here now... So you'll have to talk to Fabine back at camp."

Fabine scowls. "Not happening." He smirks, seeing the blood stain the water. "Aww, is the poor little wolfie injured?" He mocks, before shoving Destin towards the Brom border. "Vera can you come grab him?" He smirks at Kianna. "I'll take care of the Rabin bitch."

Ptelea squeals happily and hugs her. "Thank you thank you!!" She hurries into her own room. "Okay, I'll be ready soon!" She begins grabbing all her important things. She grabs her favorite clothes, a few markers and pens, papers, and anything Ambrose had ever given her. She hums happily, so glad to be leaving this hellhole.

Vera nodded wordlessly, running over and hauling Destin out of the river. She pulled him away from Fabine and Kianna, holding onto his wrist firmly.

Kianna pushed herself forward, seeing Fabine and Destin begin to cross the river. She huffs and follows after, snarling as she moved. "He doesn't want to stay!" She snaps, moving towards Fabine.

Bold wants Kianna to attack Fabine a little bit, so :3c))

Reina nods. "Of course, Ptelea. You have to get away from here. But if you need me I'll be waiting." She says, holding the girl close. "You have to be careful. The world is a scary place, and this house is just apart of it."

Vera's eyes widened slightly as she didn't stop or slow down, but continued racing towards Fabine and Destin. "Fabine, watch out!" she cried, firing another arrow, but knowing it wouldn't slow her down much.

Kianna felt a second arrow hit her, and she snarled once more. She shook off the impact and narrowed her eyes. She's trying to waste my time, she thought to herself, glancing around for Fabine again. Before Vera could hit her again she changes her direction and heads for the river.

Reina nods, "Oh, I guess you have a point." She looks down at Ptelea before speaking again. "You really should leave... you should go talk to Dem and find out a plan. This place isn't for you."

Vera saw her change course and hissed frustratedly. She shifted into a hawk and quickly soared over to the Brom side of the river. She landed and shifted human again, bow drawn, watching for Kianna. She felt a pang of relief when Fabine and Destin crossed the river. "I swear to God if you set foot on Brom territory..." she snarled into the forest to Kianna.

Kianna snorts and nears Vera, lunging for the same leg. Her shoulder burned but the adrenaline she was feeling eased it some. It's a surprise he hasn't tried leaving sooner, she thinks to herself.

Vera gritted her teeth and managed to fire off two arrows before diving out of the way and rolling onto the ground. She leaped to her feet and sprinted away from Kianna, trying to gain some distance to fire off a few more arrows.
