Looking forward to staying behind the front line as far as the commissar will let Khalid and praying the grenade launcher doesn't blow up in his hands - I'm thinking he'll have been one of the lucky members of a forlorn hope regiment who mostly got eaten, shot, stabbed, run over, or simply warped out of existence.
