"It looks like we're paired up. Not very surprising considering our skills. I have no doubt that with your ferocity and intimidating appearance disheartening these kids should be relatively easy. But you can never be too sure with these hero types..."
Utterly serious, focused, Zion held silence over the majority of the beginning to their mission. Only supplying a nod of acknowledgment as Aya spoke of being paired up. Even as they arrived to the mountainous region Zion stayed relatively in the background. That was, until the 'wolf-boy' started throwing insults and furthermore an attack was made upon Aya. Speaking quietly, Zion occasionally casts glances between the targets, and Aya.
"
Dats a good plan, shield-man. Aya. Jump on meh back, darlin'. I'll do my best and take any attacks directed towards us, along with deliver yah straight to these bastards. I can climb a mountain with ease, and i'll punch anyone you can't touch."
Flick of the wrists and claws were unveiled from his fingertips. Golden hued gaze of the Lion hosted rage, anger. Gritted teeth allowed his fangs to be completely visible through his expression. Slowly Zion walked out from behind the group while shouting loudly, PROUDLY! Stopping among the frontlines of their little group, standing in away so Aya could quickly dart over and onto his back. If she so wished.
"
Yah speak tough for a bunch of over-glorified brats. I'll be sure to remembah dat as I send yah tumblin' down dis 'ere mountain!"
Zion awaited for one of two things. For Aya to deny the offer presented, of climbing upon his back. Or for her to do exactly that. Whispering, he spoke again to his group. To Aya.
"
Don't be afraid to grab my mane, or hair, for support. Also, don't be shocked if these boys are settin' us up for an ambush... I doubt 'dey are alone."
Shouting again, Zion drags a claw against the ground creating a notable gash in the mountain floor beneath his feet. This also provided a perfect time for Aya to leap onto his somewhat knelt figure. Zion was also attracting as much attention, as long as he could, so other villains could act or leap into action.
"
I hope yah didn't do sumtin' as foolish as tell yah friends to escape as yah stayed behind. Yah both would be signing a suicide contract, if dat be dah case. Wolf-boy..."
Gaze of the lion was shifting between eye contact with the wolf-boy, and the messy haired kid who fired a laser. One thought crossed the lion's mind as he contemplated the latter boys power. If that laser hits his fur, would it ignite? Despite the fear surrounding that possible thought, Zion upheld his angered expression perfectly.
