Sure Night, thought if you have Kik that would be better a quick messenger for me, I have problems with the latest skype update not being compatible with Win7. As for free or Casual I say set it up as a low casual. I am going to be playing like a d&d DM for you guys and using my character more as a quest giver than actually having them participate, so something where you guys can post a varying amount of content but still be required to make each post have meaning.

Okay guys, I am going to admit I skipped a lot of the conversation because I was reading during my break at work but if you have not found someone to GM I can volunteer (As tribute). I read the first couple of post and you guys kentioned the problem of these roleplays being mainly based in the school. Well I have a concept I have been concerned about proposing because it has been previously rejected on other sites (not gonna name any). Instead of student you will be taking on the role of a fresh graduated hunter/huntress, your team is assigned with investigating a town that had been expirancing a lot of unporvoked Grimm attacks and travel there to deal with the problem which leads into the deeper plot. Dunno if you guys find that interesting but it would provide a way to travel and discover more about the RWBYverse.

-Bladesinger- An ancient art magic a Bladesinger combines the fluid movements of a Swordsage and the raw power of a Spellblade into a single art. The graceful movements of dance and the harmony of song are incorporated into a bladesingers spells as well as their swordplay, making them a spectacle to watch when they use their magic.

Weapon

A masterwork Rapier at a quality only seen used by those of royalty and noble birth. While devoid of any enchantments the metal itself is a magical element known as mithral, making it hard as diamond with the flexibility of a regular steel sword. On her off hand is a Gauntlet of Shadowstrike, it is not a weapon by traditional means but is enchanted to allow Kyne to disappear into shadows to hide or move quickly between them.

Short Biography

Born in the underdark of Lucis Kyne is a member of the Avuryurden clan and one of many daughters of Lararyne. Her mother is the queen and head matron of the Avuryurden and raised Kyne to be a part of the Shadowsingers. A company of bladesingers dedicated the queen and act as royal guards and military elites. Kyne attended lessons via a private tutor and was kept away from most the other children until Lararyne received a letter asking if she would like to enroll her daughter into the Academy. Seeing the benefit of having one of her daughters as a Gatekeeper she chose Kyne and enrolled her immediately.

Personality

One would assume a Drow to be quiet and keep to themselves but Kyne is the opposite, while shut in and shy because of her upbringing she quickly warms up to those who approach her and many will immediatly see her cockyness and blunt attitude.

The majority of Kyne's magical power comes from her bladespells. The are signature magic moves that can only be used when a bladesinger strikes their target with a one handed weapon. She cannot be holding anything in her off hand to cast a spell and her weapon has to hit the target first. Her greatest fear is to lose her power or be rendered helpless in a situation where she must defend herself. Because she was born in darkness Kyne's eyes are vulnerable to harsh light sources, they can leave her dazed or temporarily blinded for a few moments.

Strange Attributes/Abilities/Traits

Having some training with the Shadowsingers when she was young Kyne has taken to memory Drow sign language, a form of military code used by warriors in the underdark when they need to be silent. Her eyes are also a light pink, Drow usually have deep red eyes. Being born a resident of the underground Kyne has the Drow gift of darkvision, She can see much better in dark area than anyone without this trait.

Kyne carries or wears her Shadowsinger Mask at all times. Within her clan it is known as a "Mask of Song" and used to belong to her oldest sister. Being a Bladesinger Kyne is very adept at song and dance and can learn a new song or form of dancing with only a single lesson, however she rarely performs outside of the dances and songs needed for her magic.

Short Biography

Coming from the mystic land of france. Her mother from france and her father from England. She lived a normal life with her parents but in school while most found a fascination in the evolving technology around them Senka became enthralled in the limits and abilities of the human body, testing her own with parkour, making friends whom introduced her to the way of an adept. At first it seemed no different from that of a shaolin monk, martial arts, sparring, extreme training that pushed her limits but it was the introduction of Chi changed what it was about, it was an unlock of the true potential of the human spirit. Specialized in the Ghost fist school Senka was asked to join the academy when it became known she was studying to be an adept, asked to continue her studies in the school.

Personality

Senka is quiet and keeps to herself, she will talk around friends but never goes out of her way to introduce herself beyond being polite. She escapes into her music to remain solitary and focuses more on her training and meditation. The rare times she will come out of her shell are when she meets someone like herself who is focuses on the physical ability of the body. She shows an interest in speaking with these people and seems more comfortable around them.

Having only just recently unlocked her Chi Senka is not as strong in the Ghost fist style of fighting. She can have trouble mustering up the spiritual strength to cast her attacks. Senka is also allergic to milk.

Other than her rare spiritual unlock Senka appears normal. She knows two languages, french and English and can speak fluently in both.

"Oh my god this suuuuucks." Aalis mumbled to herself, slumping over now that Mr. Q had stopped talking to her. She glanced over at Catheryn whom of course had fallen asleep in her chair on top of her homework. Aalis kinda wished she could fall asleep that easily but she was always restless as an Aspect of War, if she was not fighting or training she was bored out of her mind, video games seemed to be the only other thing that kept her from going nuts at times like these.
Pushing her glasses up onto her forehead she started doodling on her page, decorating the corners with random designs and patterns to pass the time until lunch. Catheryn kept moving around and muttering as she drifted in and out of sleep and Aalis looked over at her, pocking the girls side just as the lunch bell rang and she jumped up out of her chair and ran for the door, making Aalis nearly topple out of her chair as the smaller girl waved to her from over by the door and ran for the cafeteria. "How do we even know each other?" Aalis thought to herself before pushing her glasses down over her eyes and picking up her bag, heading out to try and get her lunch before the lines got crazy.

The cafeteria was of course packed by the time Aalis got there and she looked around for Catheryn to maybe get a chance to cut in line hopefully but she could not see the blue haired girl anywhere. Sighing she just got in line for the soup and sub sandwiches, not wanting to wait an hour for a slice of pizza. At least she could find a table to sit at with her friend and eat, then maybe find someone to fight. Aalis had been itching for one since she woke up.

Chowdah and lettuce on bread. was the lunch of the day for her and Aalis looked for an empty table, walking over to one over by the wall she finally spotted Catheryn and also saw Helena beside her, "Hey guys over here!" Aalis yelled, putting her tray down and waving to get their attention. there was no ways she was sitting alone and getting bored like she was in class.
