I am interested
why does everyone put "To be Roleplayed" in their history slot? I mean Kudos to those that actually gave their character a back ground but every one else I mean come on, I know it is a free role play but that just shows your complete lack of effort to make an interesting character.

Personality: She has a calculating mind, reading others actions before making her own she likes to have the full story and as much information on her opponent as possible so that she can read their movements before hand.
History: Her father is a Sergeant in the Vale Police force, an only child she was pushed by her father to follow him and join the VPD, attending Signal Academy for her training, but her teacher focused her more towards moving on the be a Huntress when she showed potential.
Weapon: Beam Wing; A dueling sword and crossbow, it has two forms but multiple uses, unsheathed the blade is a regular sword relying on Lena's strength to make slashing attacks and block her enemies blows, the sheath however is a solid form, held in a reverse grip she can use it to block and also make blunt blows, often using her forearm to re-enforce the strength of her blocks. when re-sheathed though she can activated the weapons secondary form, a crossbow that folds out from the sheath using the swords hilt as the grip. She carries a quiver of arrows on her belt, each tipped with a different form of dust, when the trigger is held down the weapon and charge the force of the shot to a certain point to add more penetration to the arrow when it hits the target. Stored away it sits on her left hip opposite of her arrow quiver.
Semblance: Lena has a passive Empathy for the aura of others, allowing her to "feel" their presence and movements, seeing them as (in her own words) "ripples on a pond". The true potential of her power is revealed when she allows herself to go into a trace like state, keeping her eyes closed she can no longer see the physical world around her but is allowed to see the aura of others seen as a colored mist in the shape of their body. The color that she sees is personal to each persons aura, for example her own is purple.

Other: The Beam Wing is is modeled after a sword style known as the "Backsword", it is a single edged blade with a triangular tip, it has been sharpened on the tip to allow for thrust attacks so she is not limited to slashing with the blade, the flat edge lets her make sharp blunt blows that can incapacitate an opponent by only breaking limbs. the weapon forgoes a proper guard in favor of a simple cross guard to allow her to switch hands in combat, she does however wear a metal gauntlet on her dominate hand for protection.

I am going to make a character for this, I ran a RWBY rp a while back before RPG got the update to a new server but mine was more focused on story, I like this one cause it has a focus on combat.
I spotted this and thought I would give it a go since I loved the borderlands series.

A quick thinker who can plan ahead and see how things will work out in the long run, she is effective and organized in any task she is given. In most aspects Tek is a good person to work with, she can get a job done with maximum efficiency with few to no problems, however her abuse of drugs and alcohol are almost crippling as this can make her unreliable at times. She dislike being alone, being around others mean drinking buddies in her mind but most cannot stand her as she is egocentric and most times ignores the feelings of others, not realizing her words can cause more harm than help, however if someone can keep her on task she is a valuable asset to any team she is on.
Equipment:
- Double Adder: A twin barrel revolver. set side to side like a classic double barrel shotgun the firearm has two chambers and fires both shots at the same time using two separate hammers, it can fire one after the other but it takes too much effort to cock each one individually.
- Knuckle Bombs: Using a special gauntlet she can set shaped charges into the her fist that detonate with heavy impact, it is a very effective weapon combined with her instinctual and brawler type combat style..It has a quick load build in, letting her drop the explosive cartridges into the top of the wrist and pulling back on a lever to load the bombs into place.
- Army Carbine: Her fathers old gun it is a reliable bolt action rifle, still using the standard iron sights she has a pretty good shot with it and prefers to use it only for long range.
- The Ol' Leather bag: A satchel she keeps on her belt that hold several items that are vital to her well being; A pack of smokes, matches, a silver flask of any alcohol she can find, a old tobacco tin with Zmalt tablets inside (A drug used to focus the mind, it has a military history) and her favorite compass.
Ability/Magic/Technology:
Tek is a cross between a engineer and a alchemist, she combines the two most times and as a result she created her weapon the knuckle bomber, however she also has a slight affinity for pyromancy, nothing fancy beyond making a few sparks or a small flame but it has it's uses.
