I was thinking about having it be a piece of his soul, maybe half, making him unable to use his soul wavelength much in autonomous combat, but while keeping all of his limbs. If not, then he can lose his arm.
Sooo...mortgage literally means death contract...
Jacholaus nodded and smiled, saying, "Okay, then. Not that far of a walk anyways." Jacholaus had always been surrounded by high-class people who requested a lot of odd things. Especially from the rich ladies to the rich gentlemen. With that in mind, he was only trying to please Melody by accommodating for any need or desire she had at the moment, without her requesting him for it. He was just attempting to be a good partner. "I agree. Yes, there is plenty of space for training. If you wish, we can go out there and train at any time of day. Preferably before dinner."

After a leisurely walk and a couple of minutes, Jacholaus and Melody found themselves at the gateway of Jacholaus's large, manor-like home. He would lead her through the gate and up a path to the front doors of the home. He would, then, open the doors for Melody and invite her in. When she came in, he grinned and gestured around the large entry room. "Welcome to my humble abode," he said, jokingly, smiling. It was anything but humble. Everything was ornate and elegant, expensive-looking. And this was just the entry room. "Would you like me to show you around, Melody?"
Indeed, welcome. And I agree with you at every turn.
Jacholaus smiled and would hold a finger to Melody's lips. "Shh, say no more. I won't ask further than that," he said. Jacholaus was becoming more and more aware of how he was making her flustered. He would then say, "I have a lot of space in my home, so don't worry about having your own room. Already taken care of." Jacholaus would then think. "Well, I guess school is over for the day...," he said, training off a bit. He would smile to her and ask, "What say you and I go to my house and I'll show you around, introduce you to everyone, and figure out how to lay out your bedroom?" Jacholaus smiled and would take her hand gently.

After a minute or so, he would start guiding Melody out of the DWMA, gently holding her hand. Melody would receive even more glances of jealousy, holding hands with Jacholaus. Jacholaus either didn't notice or didn't mind it all that much. When he and Melody exited the building and were going down the stairs, he turned to her and said, "Like I said, it's not that far from here. The most work you have to do is these stairs." Jacholaus would then giggle a bit and say, "Unless, if you want me to carry you there, az én szép(my beautiful)," smiling even more afterwards.

I'm glad someone recognized the swords :D
I thought the look of the Ebony weapons were the perfect balance between suitability and practicality, unlike the paddle-like shapes of other weapons.
Name: Elijah (Eli)
Age: 15
Gender: Male
Role: Student
Class: NOT
Weapon Form: 2 forms, one small and one large. Both blades. The small one is the one he most uses, as he can use it autonomously. The larger one is for when he wished to take full Weapon form so a Meister may wield him.
Small Blade (Einhander):

Large Blade (Zweihander):

Abilities: Autonomous Blade: Able to wield himself as a Weapon and Meister as a smaller blade.
Appearance:

Brief Personality: Quiet and melancholy, but will become depressed and may even practically break down into tears is someone mentions his parents, family, or his past in general, as well as parents in general.
Background: Eli was raised in a broken home with an abused mother, abusive father, and younger sister. His father beat his mother, his sister, and Eli, constantly, even as infants. And no one did anything, for thirteen years. He had been told by his mother that he was a mistake, and she wouldn't be in this mess if it weren't for his conception, which was due to rape by his father. She was forced to stay with his father for care of Eli. His younger sister was the event of another rape that happened right in front of Eli. After thirteen years, it took to a new level. His father had taken Eli's mother, younger sister Amie, and Eli, and tied Eli's mother up. With the two children watching, he got a knife and stabbed his mother repeatedly. In the arms, eye, stomach, and her heart. After the murder of Eli's mother, Eli's father came after the two children. One slash was all it took to kill Amie. While his father was distracted, Eli had grabbed a chair and hit his father with it, knocking him to the ground. He, in a fit of rage and fear, had formed his Einhander form in his hand, and began stabbing. He must have stabbed his father about 20 times before stopping, his blade disappearing. His mother's and sister's blood was on his father's hands, and his father's blood was on his.

After a day or so, a Meister and Weapon pair was sent to go terminate the Kishin Egg that was Elijah, apparently. When they found him, though, he wasn't violent or aggressive at all, like other Kishin Eggs. He was crying, apologizing, and begging, and broken. He was sitting in a corner in the same room as the decaying corpses of his family. The Meister and Weapon negotiated with and talked to the young boy and, instead of exterminating him, took Eli back to Death City. There, he stood in front of Lord Death, receiving judgment from him. After a few trials, and some legal work, Eli was allowed to stay in Death City, but would reside in a cell on the basement level of the DWMA, as punishment for the incident, but would be counted as self-defense for all things legal. He was allowed to stay because, as a Weapon, and an Autonomous one at that, he could prove a valuable asset to the school, if guided on the right path. He was changed to being under the care of the DWMA Staff, and had forsaken his last name, having it officially changed to just Elijah. For all things legal, though, he had gotten "Death" as his last name, somewhat adopted into the Death family.
Hmm...I think I'm going to make an Autonomous Weapon/Meister. I have an interesting idea for one, methinks.
"Oh, allow me," Jacholaus said, taking the glasses from her and pulling out a fine handkerchief from his suit coat's pocket, which bore his family crest on it, cleaning the glasses for Melody. Afterwards, he would put Melody's glasses on her face correctly, brushing her hair out of its path. "There, much better." He smiled and refolded his handkerchief, putting it back into the pocket. "I wanted to talk to you about your current state of residence," he would say.

Jacholaus would place a hand on Melody's shoulder and lead her to a more private area of the classroom, guiding her to sit. He would sit right next to her. He would face her and ask, "Do you have anywhere to lie your head tonight, Melody?" It was a very serious question. Even though Jacholaus was extremely rich, he was aware of the poor conditions many people faced, and how poorly they fared. He would then continue. "If you need a roof over your head, I own a residence here, in Death City, with an easy route to and fro the DWMA. It's...," he said, trailing off. He would finish that thought a moment later. "Well, it may be better to see for yourself."
