You graduate when you make Death Scythe, don't you? o 3o

I meant going from NOT to EAT.
Oh, and is Eli accepted now that we've figured everything out?

...which remained nameless. It was simply "the creature". Doctor Frankenstein's name was Victor.EDIT: What I mean is, how did he get that name? Did he read the book and change it, like Soul changed his? Does the book even exist in the Soul Eater universe?

Yeah, I know, But his last name is Frankenstein. And he created the monster.
Not sure. But when it showed flashbacks of him, Spirit called him Franken. And they looked like they were both around 11. Maybe born with the name. Although, he could have changed his last name to Stein later on. What I want to know is, how did he get that giant friggin bolt stuck in his head? O.o

I, um, I don't get it. What do you mean, Jivusa?

People say they'll fight on the internet all the time, but most really won't if they had the chance.

Heh. I love the ridiculous names some of the characters have... I mean, in what other story would a character literally named "Franken Stein" play such an integral and emotional role in the plot?

The Frankenstein Monster.

I want to go to Death Robins and get some Ice Cream.

If he's NOT, I don't think it matters. He isn't going to be fighting anyone or going on missions anyway, so having a Meister is more of a formality.

Yeah, he's just starting education with it due to Lord Death's approval and supervision.
But, when he graduates, and becomes stronger, he can make his mind up about having a Meister or remaining Autonomous.
So, my conclusion:
Eli will remain Autonomous, mostly, though will be weaker as Autonomous. No use of soul wavelength at all. He will remain a sword, because 'dat backstory tho'. Will not really have a Meister because 'do not want'. If someone is dying to make a Meister for him, though, I guess he can be their partner, as well as fighting himself, Autonomously.

Is everybody happy?

And, voila, the original argument comes back. Justin's a Death Scythe.

I wasn't referring to that. I was just saying that Autonomous Weapons do, in fact, use their soul wavelength in combat.

By the way, why not make Eli something outrageous, like a Guillotine, if you want him to be autonomous? He doesn't seem to have any reason to NOT have a Meister...

Because he's somewhat of a prisoner. Not much, but somewhat. Either not allowed to have a Meister, no one want to even be his Meister, or he prefers to not have one because it reminds him of the incident with his family. Maybe just the last two.

Giriko wasn't totally autonomous. He could form his chains by himself, but to use his soul wavelength he needed his gollem, which contained part of Arachnae's soul.

Okay, well, maybe not Giriko. But Justin Law did. Law Abiding Silver Gun.
