I would think it all combines, but to level it out, your chances of defending a counter or a direct impact would be decreased.
Thank you for that, Zomzoms and my Lord Hamster.

I assume it's okay to get a head start on character building, then?
What if my character uses a ranged weapon, such as a longbow, crossbow, shortbow, etc. and the enemy isn't aware of an incoming arrow/bolt? Do they automatically gain awareness, deflect the arrow/bolt and charge down the field while my character waits to be countered, checking the local news on his/her iPhone?
What I'm asking is about ranged bow attacks and sneak attacks. How are they implemented? What are the chances of a sneak attack being successful, and how does a sneak attack differ from a normal, face to face attack?
So, say I wanted to make a half-elf/full elf Archer character that uses Alchemy to make malign poison from the vegetation and animals that surround him, for example. How would the perk spread be lain out? Their descriptions are rather vague, as it's hard to decide what they encompass. Would Archery be decided based on Dexterity or Strength? Would Alchemy be based on Wisdom?
Also, shouldn't different races have different base perk spreads? For example, elves would have less Strength, but more Wisdom, inherently? Vice-versa for Orcs?
In addition, specialized abilities for different races may do this game some good, but I fear that leads to leaning on tabletop RPG territory.
Just throwing in some ideas willy-nilly.
I've never played an RP quite like this. It may prove to be a healthy experience. It has my interest and attention.
Oooh, goodie! Skyrim!
:D

I'd love to partake if there is room for me.
I wonder if this had officially died..
Herro.
I actually felt compelled to call it battojutsu, which is hypothesized to be an even earlier name for Iaijutsu. Though, I just stuck with Iaijutsu, since that hypothesis has not been proven, per se.
I think.
I feel special. I got a raise of the hat. Yay!

I was also thinking about using the sword from a seated position, which, if I am not wrong, is possible but not the most effective way of doing things. Still, if there ends up being a duel, one could catch their opponent off of their guard by still being seated and fighting, even making themselves able to do some sort of jumping or dashing attacks for surprise.

I just think it looks cool.

Also, some music:
