Name: Giuseppe Alighieri
Age: 15
Gender: Male
Appearance:

Element: Wind
Powers: An offensive, defensive, and a passive: Giuseppe can use highly-concentrated air to make projectiles that are both difficult to spot and really hurt to get hit by. He can also use air in the sense of making its particles, atoms and such, vibrate, which can disrupt someone's focus and magic usage. Something passive he can do is manipulate sound, amplifying it or muting it, a skill that can be used strategically.

Personality: Giuseppe is a sensitive, sweet person. He is also pretty optimistic and caring, loving, given some time to form a bond. He enjoys music, writing, and poetry as well as the visual aspects of arts, and is usually found either writing a song or poetry, or working on some type of drawing or painting. He doesn't play favorites, and is very friendly, usually saying, "Se non sei mio nemico, allora sei mio amico," which means, "If you're not my enemy, you're my friend." Giuseppe would gladly sacrifice anything for a friend, even if they may not do the same for him. With Aria, he feels safe and loved, knowing that she would do the same for him.

History: Giuseppe Alighieri was born in the city of Venice, in Italy, to an upper-middle class family. His family was one of musicians, his father being a pianist and his mother, a vocalist. From a young age, Giuseppe would take up music himself, choosing to learn how to play guitar. Of course, this was done alongside his normal schooling. Throughout his childhood, he learned bits and pieces of a foreign language known as English, spoken in both England and America, mainly. It went from just one to two words to full devotion to learning the language. Successfully and fluently bilingual, he was able to communicate with tourists and foreigners. This would come in very handily later on.

When Giuseppe first discovered his powers of Wind-using, it was his fifteenth birthday. He didn't know how, or why, or exactly when, but he awoke in a daze in the middle of the night. He was woken up by a strong gust of air. Though, it was not normal wind. It came from his hands. Somehow, they stopped, and he went back to bed, too tired to realize that there was something off. The next morning, he blew it off as a wild dream, though quickly realized it was reality. He was greeted by men at the door of his home, telling him what he was, and that he would go to a special academy to learn about it. Neither him nor his parents knew what was going on, but he decided that he would attend. So, he packed his things and left for his destination.

Upon arriving to Quae Academy, he was greeted by a man holding a cage. Giuseppe realized it was for him, and accepted it. He was told to look inside, that he had a friend in there. He opened the cage door and was greeted by a bird- which was really big considering how young it was. The men explained that it was a female, and what she was. Apparently, she was something called a Familiar, and was Giuseppe's. The Winged Tempest stepped out and looked at Giuseppe for a minute, and Giuseppe looked back. Suddenly, the Winged Tempest came closer and nuzzled Giuseppe affectionately with her head. Being told to name her, Giuseppe would call her Aria. So began a compassionate friendship that would last for the rest of eternity.

Familiar name: Aria
Familiar species:

Powers of familiar: Same as Giuseppe, but with the addition of flapping her wings to create strong gusts of wind, helpful both in flight and in combat. Currently, just little pushes of air.
Any other familiar info:

Other: Enjoys sharing cookies with Aria.

Finally edited. Is this good, Gilgex?

And, I feel like I may be the only one who actually put "cookies"..

Also, Gilgex, nice Daedric swords. Skyrim is amazing.
Something like a mix between a songbird and a bird of prey, about as big as a person with a wingspan of the height of three, that can control and manipulate the air around it using its screech/call, claws, and wings.
Jivusa said I'm also curious if our familiars have to be actual mythological creatures, or if we can create our own.

Me and datadoggy were talking we think a Pegasus would be a cool familiar.

A Pegasus may work.
Though, it may be hard finding space for it later on...

I'm also curious if our familiars have to be actual mythological creatures, or if we can create our own.

Sorry ace already has a griffon first page rule number 9.

Oh, sorry. I thought that meant that among one person's characters.
Now, I need to find another mythological being of grace that has linkage to air. And, also isn't game-breaking.

Personality: Giuseppe isn't the most outgoing of persons; he would rather stay stationary, thinking about things such as lyrics, notes, progressions, and et cetera to songs. Really, Giuseppe's most outstanding feature is that he plays mainly guitar, and is quite skilled at it. Although he may not talk as much as some of the more rambunctious people, he uses self-expression through song and sing, which he believes to be expression enough. He would play something for people if they asked, though people would rather go about their day without it. Which was fine by Giuseppe, as he didn't really mind. That's not to say as he doesn't have friends. He is still very much social, kind and sweet to everyone he can be to. It only takes some time, as do all great things.

He opened the cage door and was greeted by a small creature, a gryphon. The gryphon would walk over to Giuseppe and nuzzle his leg with an affection of friendship. Being told that he was to name her, and keep her as a best friend, he named her Aria. Aria, not wanting to go back into the cage, would jump up to Giuseppe's shoulder and perch itself there. So began a friendship for the rest of eternity.

Familiar species: Gryphon

Any other familiar info: The odd charcoal and blue color is a rarity among gryphon-kind.

In my personal opinion they could but it would be a little bit harder, and maybe for the more elite of water users. But I will ask Gilgex her thoughts when she gets back on. Sorry if I am seeming cautious but I don't want to tell you one thing while the other GMs have another opinion. I hope you understand ^^'.

Oh, that's fine~ I've been through the same things, so believe me when I state that I know that feeling ^^
Anyways, I'm probably going to make a Wind-based character, since music will be important to him.
Well, technically, his music is more string-based, like piano and guitar, than the winds, like flute.
But, air vibrations. Caused by shaking. Makes noise.
Internal conflict.
Another question: if I were to choose Water as my element, could my character focus on using Ice?

Like electricity, lighting, and stuff like that. I hope this helps and you join soon ^^.

Ah, thanks! That did help.
I will start work on a CS, and will hopefully have it up soon~
This is interesting, and I shall make a CS. But, I have a question: When you say Energy, what do you mean? Like, electric energy or psychic energy?
