Not by a loooooong shot, no.
One of the earlier encountered monsters is girl who is a slug from the waist down. This is not the most nauseating monstergirl in the game by far. Uuuuuuuuuurgh...
If we DID do horror fantasy...
Can I recommend you a similar dragon adoptable site called Flight Rising? It's more along the lines of Neopets in terms of complexity, but doesn't use the views-to-grow mechanic. The sprites are larger and technically less diverse, but have customisable textures.
Here's some of mine.
I'm not too into the site I'm using now, I just like the look of the dragons. I'll check that out.
