Batman, would you like to trade my iron and art for foodstuffs? And permission for a trade route to Golem and Muse?
When's the IC gonna come up?

Also, Golem. Would you be willing to name the rivers / oceans for a bit of direction for us?
Finished up the nations with a detailed map of roads and cities, hope y'all like it.
(Page 3)
s are mid hostilities and the battles have just about begun and the player goes AWOL for a week, can we continue with our attacking roleplay as an NPC or can someone take over?

As Titanic said, there was a land agreement, I think he posted the pic on page 8 or 9, so you may want to update the map.

Damn you're pushy.

I actually prefer the political discussion over the warmongering, to be honest.

I prefer a balance. However, political discussion RP does get stale if its not accompanied by anything. GM, are you okay with private RP taking place in PM's or a place where the dialogue can be exchanged faster, and so it doesn't turn into a free-quality rp.

I'm just afraid the game will stagnate in political discussion if we don't limit time somehow. It's happened a lot before to these kinds of games.

I feel discussions between private parties can be taken to private messages to speed up roleplay. Plus, I think the amount of inevitable warmongerering will keep everyone chugging along.

Through the mountains, as it were... but maybe there's a pass or something it could be dug through. As for the passage of time in-game, I haven't figured that out yet. An idea would be to play the game in seasons; each player has, say, three actions per season (troop movement, delegations to other nations, construction, etc). The seasons will be played in three IRL day intervals. Didn't use your actions of the season? Your loss. Or something like that. What do you think?

I'd prefer seeing a year go by every 18 days or so, because battles that last a week in game could take 6 days to roleplay. This also allows more detailed roleplay such as delegations to move forward while an army training academies take 9 days.

Also, since there's gonna be 10 different storylines. It'd be cool if at the top of your post, you put which nations are affected by said post.

so, want to work on the land agreement? I wouldn't control the land outside the border. it would be neutral though.

It's no big deal Titanic, but if you have something to add can you please edit your first post if it hasn't been replied to? There's just a dozen discussions going on currently and its a lot to wrap my head around. xD

Also, GM / Co-GM. My factions "magical" sector has 6 priests that sometimes may get sporadic premonitions of the future when the Gods feel that it is right. Would you be willing to roleplay the god's will whenever these premonitions would come (you decide what they see and when)? (Their only use is longevity through magic and the contact with the gods.)

And to address the issue of balance. There are some Utopian societies, but that's fine. As long as they have "flaws", I can't see any issues surrounding it. For example, a head on attack by an advanced army would decimate my cities, bar the one single city that's walled. I'd just appreciate it if there was no "play to win" attitude.

Edit: And @Golem - I'm down with the trading proposal. *Shakes hand*

@Jonesy: We're not neighbors but... I think a trade agreement could be mutually benefitial, don't you?

We require fish, fruits/plants, and food preservation items (salts). Exchange for iron and pottery? (As long as the route between myself and Muse's country stays open, or you wanna sail around Menora xD)
Fallen Muse said
@Jonesy Well we mostly use ships, we do use caravans sometimes, but they are usually pretty well guarded considering leaving the country is very dangerous since their country is the only country that really has women in charge like that. So it could be interesting. We could trade I wouldn't mind, they would just have to be more accepting of trading with women lol.

I think I'd put in my NS that my Easternmost city was "progressive" and they were a liberal-ish trading hub. Which is really convenient, considering it is bordering your land. My nation has no navy, and since we share an East/West border, it'd make sense to trade directly.

I am willing to trade, my nation is interested in supplies that help with building towns and starting settlements, food and jewelry would be good to

My nation's main export is fine jewelery / pots / etc. Just sayin.
