Vicar Dennison
Strength Prevails
Full name: Vicar Von Dennison
Titles: Baron of Brightmoor,
'Big Von Dennison'
Social rank: Baron
Job or societal position: Vicar was one of the many barons called to arms by late Rikard
Age:31
Gender:Male
Appearance: Face looks like first picture but with no baldness, armoured up looks like second pic
Personality: Deceptively smart, Vicar prefers to carefully weigh up the situation in front of him before acting. He has a strong belief that everyone should be treated equally and fairly and has a soft spot for those that can't defend themselves. His usually calm, cool and collected nature gets thrown out of the window if he witnesses injustice though, he just can't control himself and typically doesn't respond well towards the instigator. After being at war for so much of his life in the name of someone he's only met once Vicar doesn't want to fight anymore, he feels undervalued by his peers and would rather just spend the rest of his days in Brightmoor fort in solitary than join those he views as pompous, arrogant and ignorant.
History: Vicar was raised in the very understated, quiet fort of Brightmoor to be like any other noble; despite their low rank his parents always wanted the best for him and often went without luxuries in order to provide his education fees. He inherited the small, mountainside holding from his father, who inherited it from his father, who inherited it from his father and so on. Yet as other nobles increased their power, wealth and lands he Dennisons always seemed happy with what they had.
Due to his enormous size and strength he was drafted into military training from a young age. During his years there he didn't make too many friends, the other boys instead used to play a game called 'Tame the Beast' where they'd hit Vicar with sticks and try to wrestle him to the ground. Needless to say if he ever caught one of the smug little pricks he'd come out on top and left many young lords bloodied and bruised.
Then everybody grew up, Vicar continued growing and his once tormentors had a newfound respect for the giant behemoth of a man. Still, Vicar was usually left to his own devices by the more important nobles of Whitehall who usually didn't realise that he was much more intelligent than he let on. Vicar just never felt the need to prove himself to them, or anyone for that matter.
Constantly at war, family was something Vicar could rarely spare a thought for. After his many years of watching on helplessly as dame after dame would marry the the more widely recognised nobles of Whitehall Vicar's all but given up on creating a legacy of his own and the desire to be loved. His parents left on a lengthy sea voyage while he was seventeen and they never returned. Since then the only company Vicar needs is that of his hound; Titus, a mangy, runty little creature that seemed to be the only one to realise that Vicar needed a friend. The pair have been inseparable ever since, the only time they found themselves apart is when Vicar would go to battle and Titus found himself chained up.
On the rare occasions Vicar doesn't find himself on the battlefield he spends a lot of his time visiting Whitehall and learning from the local blacksmith as he has a fascination with the process in which armour and weapons are made from.
Skills: Vicar is probably twice as strong as a typical man and doesn't suffer the same weaknesses of other large warriors he's faced in the field. He's fast and athletic for his size and has an advanced expertise of weaponry meaning he's equally as capable with a long sword as he is with the lengthy, small-headed warhammers he prefers to take to combat. Throughout his years he's acquired a pretty decent knowledge of armour and weapon smithing.
Dreams and fears: Dreams of a world where he doesn't have to fight anymore, fears deep water/the sea.
Favored Equipment: Vicar wears as much armour as he can afford to before becoming too sluggish. Heavy iron plate mail with thick chainmail beneath the only thing more terrifying to a foe than seeing Vicar's massive metal mountain charging towards them was to see the oversized Baron atop a horse. Luckily for them though Vicar never could really get the hang of horseback warfare, instead preferring to slay his enemies with his collection of varying sized warhammers on foot.
Extra: Has a rather useless pet dog; Titos. Sigil is a white, roaming bear with black and grey chequered background.
