1x1 DnD-based RP?

Hello. I have a lot of interesting ideas set in the DnD universe that will go well with a one-on-one play style. Since I am a newbie to D&D 3.5, I would like to also hone my skills by keeping things simple. Which is why the one-on-one.

Now, on to the plot ideas:

No one escapes Reachwater Rock
This will basically be an escape run from deep in the bowels of a deadly dungeon.

The Princess on the Hill
The evil sorcerers have kidnapped the princess for a necromancy ritual. And the king beseeches you to rescue her.

The Elven Book of Prophecy
A slightly longer adventure involving the search for a legendary book of prophecy.

And many more...

We can do play-by-post, PMs or RP through discord.

Wheel of Time RP

I have a plot for an RP set in the fantasy world of Wheel of Time by Robert Jordan. You need to have read at least the first three books of the series.

The RP is set before the events of the first book. That means that the Bore is sealed, the Forsaken are imprisoned, and Rand al'Thor has not been recognized as the Dragon. The RP will start in Illian where a group of people (your characters) take the Hunter's Oath to become Hunters of the Horn. The RP will basically follow their story as they embark on the quest to find the Horn of Valere.

I plan to run this with some DnD elements thrown in, like stats and dice rolls for combat and other challenging situations. Don't worry if you don't know DnD. I plan to keep it simple and in the background, with full transparency of course.

More people are certainly welcome, @Tengri and @Ollumhammersong. I too am a newbie to DnD3.5, so that shouldn't stop you from joining, @Tengri.

I plan to start this in a day or two. I am still pouring over the DM manual to get used to the rules. And I am building a monster collection for this world. I will also share a map with you guys so you know where everything is. So I would say we still have some time.

@Joshua Tamashii - Considering how proficient you are in the rules, I suggest you continue to take the responsibility of vetting everyone's numbers in the CS. I will take care of the political/personality aspect of the character for now. I would really appreciate it if you can continue to scan the other CS. People, please take @Joshua Tamashii's suggestions as you would a DM's when it comes to building your characters.

@LordofthePies - I will wait for you to fill skills, feats and your correct numbers before approving your character.

Joshua and @knighthawk - both your characters are approved. I will update the Characters tab myself.

@Joshua Tamashii wanted to also start a new character. The roll was followed by a reroll.

The final attributes are: 12, 13, 16, 16, 13, 18 (My, my!)

can I play a gnome?

Not right now. There are no known gnomes in this world and, until I am educated better in the lore of DnD, they are going to stay unknown. I may let a gnome/halfling come in at a later time as a new character. But for now, see if you can find another race that might interest you.

And everyone, please follow @joshua Tamashii's CS format, with Skills, Feats, Spells, God/Religion, Alignment, and your stats like HP, Will, Fortitude and Reflex saves etc. My apologies for not including it in the initial CS template.

As I said, all of you have one free re-roll should you choose it.

And, knighthawk, don't include weapons in the Character Sheet. I know yours is WIP, but still, no weapons. You will be given basic weapons based on your class. And armor too. Forgot to mention that in the OOC.

@Joshua Tamashii, I noticed the same thing. I would have re-rolled myself, but thought some of you guys might think it some sort of challenge. But I completely agree. Let me generate new attributes for you and @knighthawk. It won't be considered a re-roll since, as you have stated, you are eligible for a legitimate reset.
