"Anzvíti..."
"Oú ert Bienmǫgr?"
"Gleymdu því, Það mun vera langt ferðalag, ef við erum í hár saman."
"Isk år hvågur."

All of the northern language Agnatus heard was foreign to him. The names he heard weren't though. Elden, Ghisronia, Lilianna, Jarin, and Jobe were the ones he had heard so far.

"Wine?" asked a servant boy who walked by, making a hand gesture towards the three bottles on a tray in his hand. Without saying anything he took the red wine from the tray and popped the cork. He caught himself going for a swig from the bottle and grabbed a glass from the table. After pouring himself, his fourth glass of wine Agnatus was chatting and laughing with a group of people by the names of Opie, Klaus, and Riya. Even through the wine he was thinking of Aurelia. He soon faded away from the conversation and thought of back home. The waves of the ocean bouncing off the beach sand and rolling back around. Laughter. He and his father were walking down the beach, talking of the current war while he was on his short leave. Agnatus treasured this memory, the last he remembers of his father, they were so busy they don't even notice the crabs scuttling towards their feet. Ouch!. His father starts to laugh at the baby crab latched onto Agnatus's big toe. He snapped out of the daydream and heard a voice, the voice of a boy he had heard before, The wine boy, he knew him. From back home, he was one of the lords servants. The boy was still walking around handing wine to people, but he noticed him look over every 30 seconds or so. What was he doing here? The lord wouldn't allow this, would he? Was the wine just a little stronger than his home brew? All he knew was he was getting a bit tipsy and a boy from his home village was here watching over him.

"Excuse me" Agnatus excused himself from the conversation and went over to the fireplace. He added some more wood to the fire taking some from a nearby stack of logs and started to prod the fire. He started to see something strange in the flames. It was Aurelia's face. The wine, it was the wine, he took the rest of the bottle and threw it in the trash, immediately walking over to the table and getting some food. He had to get sober before he did something irrational. Luckily for Agnatus he was tipsy, not drunk and quickly started to see straight after sitting down to eat.

After Agnatus felt alright he stood back and up and found his small group and join the chatter once again, he could still feel the slight push on his word from the wine but everything he said was all from him. He started to feel self-consciousness start to creep up in the back of his brain. Before he could mess anything up he just started his next sentence with this,

"Have any of you heard of the southern marbled quail?"
Leo looked at Agnatus carefully.

"Sir, I still don't get why you should leave, if you go the whole guild could be found out."

"And no lord to save us this time" Chia chimed in.

"Guys, if I don't go the punishment could be worse, I could be criminalized or be split in two parts, one rolling away gently to the foot of the executioner."

"Agy, please...please stay"

"Aurelia, don't."

"Agnatus, think about what you are doing, it doesn't sound like the Agnatus I met." The first thing Agnatus noticed was that Leo called him his full name. He can't remember the last time that happened. He thought about what he was doing like Leo asked.

"Leo, I give you the leadership of the guild." Everyone was quiet. "I feel... I won't be coming back...no debates..." Agnatus walked away.

Agnatus walked into Highmont and witnesses all of the stories he had heard. The city was dazzling, just like his father had told him. The next thing he noticed was how large the pockets of the citizens in the city were, he almost tried to steal some but caught himself. This isn't a little village, this is Highmont, I can't do anything stupid, he thought to himself. He saw the castle, Dragonstead was it? The line that was next and it was HUGE. Did all of these people witness the Sounding as well? Surely not.

The line took about a half an hour, but he was finally reached. The court mage motioned him forward. He stepped up and looked at the ground. He felt the wrinkled hand grab his chin and lift it.

"You may pass, but you... you watch it." Not knowing what the wizard was meaning walked into the colossus. He was directed into a dining hall where he saw many other guests conversing. He walked over to the table and took a piece of bread, took a bite, then walked next to the fireplace and leaned against the wall. Ready for the night to pass.

Appearance: Agnastus stands 5 foot 11 inches. He is in great shape from the training from home. He has a nice appearance and has a long scar going down the left side of his face.

Name: Agnatus XXI (Twenty-First)

Age: 23

Gender: Male

Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual

Occupation: Owner of a moderately sized thievery guild.

Weaponry: 2 stabbing daggers, good for stealth.

Apparel: Has light weight leather armor with a cloak, has one knife sheath on his chest, another on his right-hand side hip.

Equipment: Basic supplies,(Food, water, etc...)has his pet parrot,(Not magical this time) and his weapons

Skills: He is good at stealth, dodging and parkour. He is trained in using a sword but prefers daggers for their speed. He isn't very good at cooking. Has very high intelligence.

Magical Abilities: Has a minor illusionary spell that lets him make a shadow appear for a few seconds.

Personality: He grew up being taught to fight, not love. He can be a bit harsh in even basic communication, but he tries his best to say the correct thing for the situation. His intelligence almost matches his lethality with daggers with the training in his village with his master. The only thing he loves more than money is his parrot, he doesn't even speak to the parrot very often, they already know what each other think. But overall he enjoys money sometimes more than contact with other creature.

Backstory: He grew up in the southern part of Ecen on the beaches. He was part of a richer family and never had problems with educational fees. To take it a step further he even studied with his mother (Who too was intelligent). His father was part of the Royal Guard and was slain during the civil war. After his father died he switched from studying during the nights to practicing with a sword. Soon his relationship with his mother started to diminish. After two months of backyard training, he signed up for the local training group. He started way ahead of the group and was transferred to advanced training. He slowly progressed enough to graduate from the club at 19 and went off into the world with his high intellect and amazing sword skills.

After a year of wondering, Agnatus started to get into thieving. He started small with pickpockets and stealing off the bread cart, but it turned into full on break-ins. He started up his guild of "sword training" when he was 20. He recruited the people who he taught in sword combat for his underground thieves guild, and took the best in the classes. He met his pet parrot when he was looting a village early on, it was just sitting on a fence with no one around. He befriended the parrot and now his parrot and him travel together. His guild now has 15 members and sort of "own" a city by having the ultimate influence over it. The influence mainly comes one of the guild members blood line. A young women by the name of Lisanne is in direct relation to the lord of the city. Anytime a guild member is caught, she asks that they are excused, usually it works. Only once was it bad enough it didn't, One of the guild members killed someone, which was against the code of the guild, we threw him to the wolves. The lord asked us if he was with us, but we told him no, he was executed the next day. Suspicion came over the town on who ran the thieves guild and who was in it. He just kept on training with his students and he was left looking innocent. Nobody else knows that he owns the thieves guild of course, but some could assume.

Other: Loves birds and has lots of knowledge about most of them.
@Jpp188 Alright it looks good now. Accepted!

@MelonHead Also accepted!

Make sure you both post your sheets to the Characters tab.

Sweet, see you on the flip side.
@Heat

Changelog on CS: Added age, added backstory to make the guild influence problem more believable.
@Heat

Oh, I forgot to take it out, and no its not. Sorry about that.
@Heat

My bad, somewhere in there I missed the memo of only humans, I will write a new one. I will have it up tomorrow.
I think that I would enjoy doing this, count me in unless I say differently.

I would like to join this, I think I can create a cool character that is pretty well balanced, can you tell me how some of the mechanics are going to work? Like is there a gold system, a leveling system, or just basic RP?
