My name is June. I'm a nineteen (19) year old, introverted, college student looking into returning to the Forum Roleplay Community. I'm very fond of music, and musicals, and try to incorporate music and ambient sound into my stories as best I can. I've invested/wasted a lot of time and money in/on numerous video games (mostly MMORPGS), over the years, but if you need a hand I might be able to join you (I typically play healers if possible).
While I'm pretty shy, I'm very social, and tend to be pretty talkative if you can get me onto the right subject, so it might help if you initiated conversation.
Roleplaying Interests:Casual Slice of Life, Some Combat (though typically not PvP), Magic, Mysterious, Dark, Family, etc. I particularly enjoy social roleplay environments (magical or otherwise), like schools, cabins etc. If you have a roleplay you think I might be interested in, please give me a shout!
This character skeleton was designed to be only detailed enough for a quick sketch of each character, so that I could determine if they would be appropriate for the setting. I deeply encourage everyone to take their time and allow the details and history of each character be explored in a natural way throughout the story.
I do require a personal theme for each application, and I am fine with your character being the daughter of the local-store owner, on the condition that she invites herself upon hearing Tori's situation when they meet briefly at the store, prior to the start of the RP. Other than that, your character sheet is splendid.
I believe we should limit the group to eight players maximum, but I am open to suggestions. However we presently have a significant amount of interest.
Very much so, both you (The Scotsman) and Prints Avoid are accepted (however, Prints Avoid, before adding your CS to the character window, please edit your height into the appropriate location as seen in the updated CS Skeleton, I apologize for the inconvenience).
So far it looks fantastic, however you need to include both examples of Speech and Action for consideration. Also, I'd like to update the CS to include height now that you've reminded me; it shall be between Gender and Major. Ex: Height:
The OOC is now active and awaiting. Please post your CS applications in the OOC page and await approval / critique before posting them in the Character section.

"-Why does that evening’s memory Return with this night’s storm — A party twenty years ago, Its disappointments warm?
There are so many might have beens, What ifs that won’t stay buried, Other cities, other jobs, Strangers we might have married.
And memory insists on pining For places it never went, As if life would be happier Just by being different." - Excerpt from "Summer Storm" by Dana Gioia Introduction:
Welcome potential applicants to "Summer Storm", a social roleplay hosted by the Roleplayer Guild and 'GMed' by yours truly. Our story is that of a group of college students who are given the opportunity to spend their summer vacation in a lake-house that is paid for by my own character's (Victoria, or Tori) family. Having spent nearly their entire lives in the city, these young adults will not only be getting to know each-other, but perhaps themselves.
Our story starts as Victoria's parents surprise her by renting out the cabin and suggesting she bring a few friends (though it's more than likely that they just want her to leave the internet alone for a little while). Unfortunately, Tori and her ex-best friend (WHO MUST NOT BE NAMED) parted ways after several fights transpired between the two, and despite her personality, she hasn't made any other lasting friendships. So, in an attempt to not be judged by her family, she opts to invite a few close(r) acquaintances to join her in the cabin over summer break, and encourages them to bring someone else along if they'd like to.
The cabin will be fully stocked upon arrival, and a small store (simply named: "Ben's") is within reasonable walking distance down the long dirt road through the forest which completely surrounds the property, save for the east side of the cabin which leads down to a small beach on the lakeside.
Please look into each of the hiders below for more information, including a map of the cabin itself complete with brief descriptions of the rooms therein, general rules, and the skeleton for your Character Sheet. Thanks so much for your interest and application.
The Number #1 rule is to please respect your fellow roleplayers, the forum itself, and the GM (myself) and their/my decisions.
Please avoid use of exceedingly vulgar language or imagery, if you aren't sure about something qualifying, it probably is too much.
Do not "God-Mode" or attempt to manipulate the story outside of your own character's actions.
Keep the IC appropriate, if you and another character become "too intimate" please move that conversation to Private Messages. But please do allude to what you are doing, so that other characters are aware of the situation.
Please do not "Speed-Post" if possible, conversation should happen at a fluid rate, but give other characters a chance to participate.
Please, PLEASE, do NOT vanish without warning, if you MUST leave the story for any reason please either message me or post in this OOC as a warning, we can work around your absence, but it throws the whole project off if you simply vanish.
Please take note that the front entrance is to the south, and the side entrance is to the east (facing the lake).
