The house always wins! Viktor's married to his own love of maiming but that could be a bonding point.
Flip a several side coin or as I believe it's commonly known, a dice.
I like the whole armored berserker thing he's got going on, expect banter from Victor considering how they're both heavies.
We've got a lot of weird powers here, none of the standard ones you see. I like it!

Personality: A selfish and pessimistic man Victor spends most of his time when he's not in prison drinking in bars or fighting in bars. Originally only motivated by a twisted sense of justice to bring corrupt officials to their knees Victor started out robbing banks however he has now descended into hedonism acting only to fulfill his own urges. Rash and impulsive Victor prefers to rush into his problems head on punching his way through anything that tries to stop him. Victor has anarchist views believing that if people really want something they should do whatever it takes to get it. Contrary to his reputation Victor is no brute however, he is surprisingly resourceful and isn't one to be fooled, those that try to fool him usually end up with limbs missing.
Ability/power/s: Manipulation of kinetic energy: Being able to infuse his blows with energy.
Being able to absorb the kinetic energy from his enemies attacks and redirect it into his own.
Altering the kinetic energy of the particles within objects causing them to explode.
Can store energy from received attacks to release it in his own.
Weakness: Has no mental defenses, can only defend against attacks he sees coming.
Extra: Victor unwilling served in the military in order to earn enough money to pay for his sister's tuition. For extra pay he would often volunteer for practice with experimental weaponry and medicines, while testing a prototype gun that harnessed the energy around it the weapon malfunctioned altering Victor's very molecular structure and imbuing him with his strange powers. Resigning from the military immediately he took to a life of crime to get back at the establishment for making him into a monster.
Victor's cell has specialized walls designed to negate any kinetic energy preventing him from becoming any stronger than an ordinary man.

I'm still really into this idea.
Avery was starving, he hadn't eaten a proper meal in days and the effects of hunger were beginning to set in. Clutching his stomach the young man walked through the streets of Engine City keeping his head down desperate to avoid being seen, if anyone saw him they might tell the police and then he'd have to go back to 'the men in white coats'. A baseball cap pulled tightly over his head to conceal his amethyst eyes, Avery made a beeline for the nearest news stand. Picking up the Engine Gazette a single story dominated the headlines. "Super-villain Tox's death leads to quarantine." Avery disliked the term 'super-villain' things were rarely so black and white in the world.
The paper noted the quarantine zone as being 'Carter Hills' what was once a 'friendly' part of Engine City had become a bio-hazard. Towards the back of the newspaper there was another story more close to home for Avery. 'Eldritch still on the run after gas-station hold-up' The paper painted him to be a monster, sometimes Avery believed them.
The truth was that Avery was confronted by the police for the destruction of a government facility and had to take a cashier hostage, since then Avery had gotten nothing but bad press.
A five by five free block meant that there was bound to room for some looting, perhaps even some food if Avery was lucky he'd even find enough food to get him through the week maybe even more. It wasn't that Avery was a evil person, he understood what he was doing was wrong, it was simply that there wasn't an alternative for the boy who had been dealt all the wrong cards.
Reaching the district Avery was halted by a uniformed SWAT officer a gun slung across his chest. "I'm sorry! I have to get in." Avery whimpered as a single tentacle wrapped around the man's neck from the ground holding him until he fell unconscious. Weaknesses - Avery is cowardly and is afraid of conflict or being hurt. Avery can't take people into the dimension without their consent. Avery has no exceptional physical attributes.

Appearance - Avery looks like a rather scrawny boy with jet black hair, his entire build is rather gaunt. Eldritch is often seen simply wearing blue jeans and a black T-shirt not opting for a costume due to his desire to be normal. The only physical abnormality that Avery bares is the entirety of his eyes are a deep royal purple that flares whenever he is channeling his abilities.
BRIEF Bio - Born to a devout Christian family Avery was cherished, this was until his powers developed. Upon summoning a tendril of darkness during kindtergarten his parents believed him to be possessed and who could blame them, he was a monster. Avery was transferred to an orphanage where he spent a week before 'the men in white coats' came for him. For several years Avery was subject to several cruel experiments to test the extent of his power. One day during a particularly brutal experiment Avery lashed out destroying the entire facility with a mass of extradimensional tendrils.
Now that Avery's escaped he's a wanted man for the destruction of the facility and won't be able to get his ultimate wish to just be left alone. On the run and trying to clear his name the newspapers have taken to calling him 'Eldritch'
Notes - Although he is essentially a villain at the moment he may have a change of heart if someone were to set him on the right track.
