Name: Anamaria De Lamarre

Appearance:

Looking at her face to face, she comes to an even 4’ 10” barefoot, feet planted on the ground. Her chocolate brown eyes, the windows to her soul, are inquisitive and adventurous, yet innocent and naive. Curly mahogany hair, which when untamed (more often than not), looks like a tumbleweed on her head, frames her face which is smooth as silk and milky brown. When straightened, it falls to her shoulders, yet she mostly keeps it up in a messy ponytail. Her ears are small, always hidden under her hair or headphones. She’s an average body type, not too thin, but not without a pudge here and there. Her arms and legs are small as well, with little muscle, although she’s very flexible due to studying dance throughout her life. She also has a tattoo of a four-leaf clover on her right thigh. She often wears short dresses or long shirts and short shorts to show off her figure.

Age: 19

Primary ability: Alchemy

Preferred magic: Botanokinesis, power to create, shape, and manipulate plants.

Personality: Anamaria knows she doesn’t have it all figured out, and she doesn’t pretend to do so. Instead, she takes every day as an adventure, while still clinging to the ones close to her for guidance. She’s cheerful about her life, and always asks questions, which can sometimes be mistaken for childish behavior. She hates being treated like a child, and will often try to prove herself if needed. When she messes up, she isn’t afraid to show how upset she is, though she is insecure about many things. She may be quietly staring at you from across the room at first, but by the first five minutes, she will have approached you and asked you at least three questions. Only later will she think about the negatives.

History: Anamaria has always looked up to her mother in life. Her mother gave birth to her at a young age, and it’s been just them ever since. Between running her bakery and raising her child, Sofia rarely had time to herself, but she didn’t care. Anamaria was her angel and miracle, and she wouldn’t change that for anything. Anamaria didn’t mind either; she enjoyed watching her mother work and even tried to help, but she did often feel bad for taking away her mother’s golden years.
These days, she always has her head in cookbooks of different kinds, though she does take time to hang out with friends and people around the neighborhood. Although sometimes her mother tries to be too involved with her friends, Anamaria tries not to be too hard on her since she’s not much older than her daughter. Now that she’s at Dreamworks, she can experience life from under her mother’s protective wing.

Major: Botany

Extracurricular Activities: Dancing and Yoga
How many days has it been now? I’ve started talking to myself to pass the time. If Dae-oppa was here, he would probably tell me to shape up and move out. Then again, I wasn’t sure where “here” was, but at least I didn’t have to worry about school. When I first arrived here, I couldn’t stop running. I took off my shoes, I tumbled, I rolled around, and I breathed in the air. It wasn’t exactly fresh, and most of the time, the wind didn’t feel like it blew on my face. In those first couple of days, if I could call them that, I constantly brought out my Botany notebook to draw the flowers and trees. I’m glad that I managed to bring that mini book with me. I recently bought it because my normal one was too bulky. Its leather cover made me remember my mother. Always her first. Always her nagging. Always her pride. She would be tending to her garden now. I missed her cooking.

Lately, I’ve had to find fish in the purple rivers that I’ve started to trust. Whatever this dream was, it lasted a long time. I’m starting to think it’s not a dream. The stomach pains didn’t feel fake, and the cuts and scrapes bled real blood. When I thought I would sleep, I didn’t. My eyes closed, but the thoughts that filled my brain, kept it moving, kept it awake. My body rested a bit, but my mind grew tired. My mind raced endlessly.

I sighed as days passed and the thrill disappeared. My body slowly filed with fatigue as I lost my nutrients. The flora began to spin whenever I stood up. I looked at my ghostly pale skin. I needed to learn how to hunt soon. I could only survive off of water and these berries for so long. I was just glad they were edible. I probably could have died, but they reminded me of berries I drew in my book before, so I took a chance in this topsy-turvy world, and I happened to be right. They were sweet, like honeysuckle, but the tang hit right after, and that part wasn’t favorable. Still, if I could properly learn to catch a fish or a squirrel, the rest would come easier. Halmeoni taught me, as her only granddaughter, how to skin and pluck and de-bone many things. She also taught me how to haggle in open markets. Turns out her advice was beginning to come in handy, if I could get my hands on something to eat.

I did try once. A large wolf tried to rip my head off my shoulders. That night, I rested in a tree, and I almost lost my shoes getting up there. I guess childhood tree climbing also came in handy. I’m almost certain I’ve never run that fast in my life though.

If only Dae-oppa was here. He would make jokes about me being a monkey. He would also get me food. I’m usually fine with being alone. It’s different when you had to survive. Now, I just wanted one other person around.

A week in, I thought, and I noticed a smoke signal in the sky. It wasn’t close, but it wasn’t far either. With my little bit of strength, I started the journey towards it. It had to mean other people. I didn’t think it was possible. I assumed I would just waste away here. Now, there was a gathering, and I actually hadn’t thought of that. Silly me! Stupid me, actually.

As I walked, I tried not to think about how my shoes weren’t for walking, how my berry supply needed to be replenished, how I was seeing shadows out of the corner of my eye that looked like deer antlers. No, I needed to stay focused. I didn’t want to run unless I had to. Mid-thought, I tripped on air. (It happens a lot, actually.) That’s when I saw that thing. A human/deer hybrid stared at me as I stood up, and I tried to ignore it and move on. I couldn’t unsee it, but when I turned around, it disappeared. I turned back to see it, a bow on its back, its eyes wide, staring past me. I wasn’t sure who made who freeze, but I carefully made a step before my ears picked up a twitch in the bushes. Another one appeared. I began to run past the first one. They didn’t follow, just watched until we became specks in each other’s eyes.

I pushed through a mess of bushes and branches, coughing and spitting out leaves and falling to the ground to catch an exchange in passing.

“Show me, I would love to meet them.”

I stood up to see two boys and the fire that was causing my eyes to sting. Its warmth felt oddly inviting. I brushed myself off before noticing I was missing a shoe. I crawled around, looking for it in the bushes I fell out of without saying a word to the new humans I’d found. Of course I was shocked and happy, but that shoe seemed very important at the time.
If possible, I would like to bring Marianna back as well. I didn't get to use her powers at all, and I was excited about using her sand divination. XD
As an update, I'm still working on it. My Internet is acting up. I'm actually posting this from my phone.
I'm going to try to get a post up today then! Thanks!
Hey, sorry, I'll try to get something up tonight. I pulled an all-nighter and I need a nap after my day of classes, so can I reserve Sun/light/energy as a god?
Name: Cateleya Sofia Herrera (Cat and Sofi are the most common nicknames)

Age: 18
Gender: Female
Code/Superhero Name: Parvati

Appearance:
Looking at her face to face, she comes to an even 4’ 10” barefoot, feet planted on the ground. Her chocolate brown eyes, the windows to her soul, are inquisitive and adventurous, yet innocent and naive. Curly mahogany hair, which when untamed (more often than not), looks like a tumbleweed on her head, frames her face which is smooth as silk and caramel brown. When straightened, it falls to her shoulders, yet she mostly keeps it up in a messy ponytail. Her ears are small, always hidden under her hair. She’s an average body type, not too thin, but not without a pudge here and there, although her powers keep her from gaining too much weight, a blessing and a curse. However, since she’s small chested, that tends to be a negative subject. Her arms and legs are small as well, with little muscle, although she’s very flexible, and her feet are hard and calloused from running barefoot since she was a small child.
For such a small person, she has a big voice, and high-pitched as well. When she gets excited or scared, she tends to squeak like a mouse, sometimes to the point where her words aren’t easily understood. She also uses her hands when talking, becoming more animated the more excited she becomes. Her clothing slightly matches her personality. She enjoys simple colors, not too bright, but not too drab either. Her favorites are reds, some pinks, and blues, but if it looks good, she’ll wear it. Her favorite pair of shoes is no shoes, but she’ll wear tennis shoes, sandals, and boots at the proper time.
Usually, she can be seen fighting crime in bright reds, oranges, and yellows, but she doesn’t have a superhero costume at this time. It’s just whatever feels comfortable.

Personality:
Cateleya isn’t new to the way the world works. She knows she doesn’t have it all figured out, and she doesn’t pretend to do so. Instead, she takes every day as an adventure, while still clinging to the ones close to her for guidance. She’s cheerful about her situation, and always asks questions, which can sometimes be mistaken for childish behavior. However, she’s cautious of new people and won’t quickly get close to them, but will consider them for the future and maybe temporarily latch on to them to find out more about them.
Cateleya hasn’t had an easy life, but she pretends that she’s just like everyone else, if for no other reason to keep the spotlight from being on her in a negative way. She also will get upset if people pry too much into her personal life. Her barriers aren’t bulletproof, but she will rarely share her history past a certain point with anyone, and will separate herself from people when they try to get too close. Despite all this, she’s managed her sanity very well, mostly because pretending everything is okay has become second nature to her, and she knows how to run away from her issues or distract herself with another’s issues.
Biography: Cateleya came into this world in late July, named for the flower that bloomed in their home. After that, Cateleya lived a fairly normal life, though her father died from a heart attack early on in her life, according to her mother. Her and her mother grew up and took care of each other in their middle class life. She made average grades, had average friends, and did nothing out of the ordinary. When her mother became sick and unable to care for her, she sent Cateleya away to her grandmother, who forced her to work hard and study hard. When people asked her about her parents, she didn’t know what to say. Her parents were shrouded in mystery; even when she asked her grandmother, she refused to speak her father’s name.

Powers:
Energy Manipulation. This includes causing particles to either speed up or slow down in movement, making heat or cold.
This also includes Chemical Energy Manipulation, such as making things grow, appearing slightly younger, and slight healing effects.
As of right now, the only abilities Cat knows of are the changes in temperature she can create around her, and slight healing effects on her body. The radius is on average 2 feet from her body, but depending on her emotional level and concentration, it can extend to up to 10 feet. When she is embarrassed or very excited, she makes the air warm or hot around her, without thinking about it. When she’s scared, sad, and even sometimes when she’s asleep for long periods, the air temperature can decrease drastically, sometimes even causing frost, but not an abundance of ice. She is also not capable of constantly affecting an area bigger than the average 2 feet constantly yet. Anything outside of that would feel pulses of heat or cold, like waves on the ocean, while inside of that radius would be the same temperature throughout. Once she moves, the particles would return to normal at a normal rate for that area, e.g. if she turned a flower frosty, once she moves away from it, the ice would melt depending on the temperature around it afterwards. This also means that if she were to use her powers on someone, she would have to stay near them at all times. Her healing abilities are limited to cuts and scrapes, but she hasn’t tested on anything bigger than that. She can’t regenerate body parts, nor can she reattach them to herself. She can only increase cell growth. Once she’s lost a body part, it won’t grow back, but the wound itself would heal faster than normal.
The drawback is having to use her own energy as well, and even though energy is never destroyed, once energy has left the user, it can't re-enter the user, so she will be weakened and in need of replenishment. Also, emotions are a huge factor in the control of her powers. Because the particles around her tend to move faster than normal particles, she runs a slightly higher body temperature naturally

Weapons: Throwing knives and basic fighting skills
Sweet. Sounds fun.
I'm interested, but are we creating new gods or playing old ones?
Interested.
