Jax walked through Engineering, checking everything, at least once. She wasn't going to fire the engines until she was certain there would be no issues, she'd spent so much time with them, they were like her children, she couldn't risk anything happening to them so early." I hope you girls are ready for your big girl panties, nap times over."

Jax flipped the switch on the power core's link to the Engines, and watched as the Ionization chambers came to a full charge." Hmm, a little slow on initial startup, but you'll be purring like a kitten once you have some time to warm up." Jax walked back to the control panels and flipped the master switches for the engines. A smirk crossed her face as the Powerful engines came to life. She cycled the power up slowly to 60%, the lights getting a bit brighter througout the vessel as the engines take over the strain from the central power core. After a few checks, and double checks, and no signs of problems, Jax powers the engines up to 75% power, their standard running level, and puts in a call to the Captain. " Engineering to Bridge, Engines at optimal levels, power and life support levels holding, everything looks good here."

Personality: Jax is an Exceptionally talented Engineer, highly intelligent, and social. Very close to those she works with, the crew of the station being the only family she's ever known.
Job: Engineer
Past Job(s): Engineer since she could lift a tool

-Exceptional Mechanical aptitude
- Cybernetic right arm is stronger, faster, and more agile than her human arm was, and includes built in tools.

Disability: -Young and inexperienced in most things other than Engineering
-Due to its design and its advanced features, her cybernetic arm is only usable a few hours a day. Jax usually does without, off shift.

Bio: Orphaned from a very young age, Jax knows nothing of her true origin, but proved from a young age to be a natural Engineering talent. At the age of 12 she was brought to the station with a group of travelers, and by showing her skills was able to secure a place in the Enginering department, quickly rising through the ranks. When she was 16, a power core overheated due to the miscalculations of another Engineer. Jax was able to contain the explosion to the core itself, and save many lives, but lost, her Right arm and several months of her life, spent unconcious and healing, in the process. After returning to work, Jax built her own cybernetic replacement, with a bit of help from the medical department. The arm allows her even more function than she had like tool attachments and storage compartments, as well as being stronger than her human arm. Due to it not being permanantly attached, it must rely on its own power, making her unable to use it for more than 6-8 hours a day.

Reason for joining the station: brought to the station by chance and earned herself a job by fixing a broken probe she found.

i'm just bumping this to add a few 1x1 ideas i've had, feel free to hit me up if these interest you. all of these could go different ways, none is designed to specifically be romantic, but could be, they are open to interpretation.

A recent amputee, alone in a new city meets a hospital employee that doesn't just see her as a room number.

for almost 10 years a modern day Bonnie and Clyde, developed a fortune and made countless enemies during their decade long crime spree across the United States, until a shootout with the police caused the destruction of their hideout in a massive explosion. their deaths made the entire country rest easy. It has now been 5 years, and there are rumors, they survived the explosion and are returning to their life of crime.

Modern Day, small to mid sized town.
after several months of being on the market, the for sale sign on the house next door, comes down. For a few weeks there is a constant flow of workers as the house undergoes several upgrades, the new owner finally moves in. being alone, disabled, and new to town, she keeps to herself at first, until you finally get the courage to introduce yourself.

for those that don't heres a little about me.

I'm a female, RPer/Gamer in my 20's, yes we exist.

i'm open to any RP, for me its about what catches my attention, not a particular genre or Fandom.

i like both 1X1 and group, and will probobly have both going when I can, feel free to hit me up with any suggestions or ideas.

my only real quirk in character building is that I prefer to give my character some sort of physical disability, because its a unique character trait that is rarely used and aids in in the character maintaining a sense of realism, that keeps them from becoming some sort of Mary Sue. Usually i choose an amputation or a spinal injury, though it always depends on what makes sense for the character. other wise i'm open to pretty much anything, and always willing to hear ideas.
