Saika: But the disciple isn't supposed to surpass the master so fast like this.

Yui: Well, i'm still not that great with swords as you are.

Saika dropped her sword, then gave her first genuine smile at Yui.

Saika: HAAAA!!! FIRE SLASH!!!

Yui: Turbulence!!!

Yui's Turbulence absorbs Saika's Fire Slash and turns it into a fire hurricane, which converged into Yui's spear.


Saika: Tch...

Yui: GOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Yui fires a fire-elemental beam from her spear, nearly hitting Saika.


Saika: That was really close...

Yui: Gotcha!

Yui had her spear close to Saika's face.


Saika: ...

Yui: Now...what should i show you next?

Saika: How about...You lose?

They clashed weapons once more.


Saika: Grrrr...

Yui: This is probably going to be my first victory against you.

Saika: NEVER!!!

Saika started to attack, Yui stayed on the defensive.


Saika: I trained so hard...made myself being reconized into Lord Zeta's army...actually survived the destruction of his Netherworld after he was imprisioned into the Sacred Tome...And i kept working hard...I will never lose to you...NEVER! One day...i'm going to be stronger than anyone...so i need to keep winning...specially against you...the one i most hate.

Yui: (She still the same.)

Saika: I won't accept that someone like you will defeate me...

She repelled Yui away.


Yui: Ah!

Saika: MOON SLASH!!!

Saika jumped, then came down spinning at Yui's direction.


Yui: Lighting Spear!!!

She used the finishing strike of the Lighting Spear in order to clash with Saika's Moon Slash. The resulting shock made the earth shake.


Yuuri: ...

Saika: Argh...BESERKER!!!

Saika cancels Moon Slash, then throws her sword at the ground, creating earth spikes around her.


Saika: TORNADO SLASH!!!

She starts spinning, slashing everything around her, including the rocks, whose debris were sent at Yui, who jumped while executing an Asteroid Drop, clashing blades once more.


Nepgear: What?

The girls could see the silhoutes of Saika and Yui's demon forms.


Yui: Saika...i really admire your dedication!

Saika: Are you mocking me?

Saika attacked Yui once more, who blocked the slash. She felt like the sheer force of the slash was sinking her into the ground.


Saika: You big moron...

Yui: But...it is true... You know me...i wouldn't lie about this...

Saika: Because...you act too kind for a demon...

Saika increases the pressure.


Saika: But even still, that isn't going to make me go easy on you.

Yui: Yeah...i expect no less...That's the way you are...strong!

Then, Yui starts pushing foward.

As Sasha was covering herself in a sheet in order to sleep, Ralf, who was over a carpet, was digiting some numbers on his cellphone.


Sasha: What're you doing?

Ralf: I'm going to call Doctor Faust.

Sasha: Going to apologize after you ran away from the hospital?

Ralf: That too...Oh wait...i think i can ask you this...is Mina awake yet?

Sasha: Mina...Is it the one who is still in a coma?

Part 1 - The interference

In another world, in an unrelated story.

Cyber Space

In the year 21XX, two large reploid armies to combat the outbreak of Mavericks exist, the Maverick Hunters including, and the Repliforce. The two great organizations have worked together several times to counter Maverick activity. But one day, the aerial city of Sky Lagoon is targeted by Mavericks, causing it to crash to the earth causing thousands of causalities. As Repliforce was in the area during the attack, they are asked to disarm themselves and come in for questioning; however, the Colonel refuses due to his pride. To make matters worse, the Repliforce leader, General, launches a coup d'état to start a nation only for Reploids to exist, which soon causes him and the entirety of Repliforce to be labeled as Mavericks by the government, forcing the Maverick Hunters to turn against their once allies.

Right now, A Class B Hunter named Megaman X was invading a Huge Physichal Database known as Cyber Space, who was being controlled by a Repliforce Reploid named Cyber Peacock. During his run on the place, X was met with many materialyzed enemies, but he managed to pass through them without much trouble.

Music: Cyber Space


X: Alright, this is the last room. He's surely in there.

As he entered through a gate, he reminisced about his and Zero's fight against Magma Dragoon, the one responsable for the Sky Lagoon incident.

???: You're finally here huh?

Cyber Peacock suddenly appeared on the room using teleportation.

C.Peacock: Are you the one with the limitless potential? I still don't find it possible.

X: It doesn't matter if you can control this place at whim, you won't stop me.
C.Peacock: I'm still not convinced about your power...I was ordered to test your capabilities...but i guess materialyzing all these obstacles weren't much of a challenge.

C.Peacock: Too bad...we from the Repliforce are already way too deep into this...we won't let our goals be crushed by fools like you...So...i found quite the interesting data around here.

She attaches the weapons to his wrists, then, a holographic menu appears over his arm.

Sasha: For a DM Weapon to have an owner, it needs to know its name...or rather, the identity of the existence.

Fael: Hmmm...

Sasha: Although, some weapons can interchange between users, but those are usually from those big organizations.

Sasha: Impressive huh? They almost feel like an extra limb now right?

Ralf: Yeah...it's similar....but at the same time...diferent from the Excalibur.

Then, Sasha jumps far away from Ralf, then activates her DM Weapon.

Sasha: My DM-Skull Death Scythe grants me a fancy cool looking armor, but it is not an barrier jacket.

Ralf: Alright.

Sasha: (It looks like he understood.)

Ralf: Alright DM-Twin Blade, let's go!

Sasha: Come! I'm right here!

Ralf pulled two blades at once, then attacked Sasha with a flurry of slashes, ending up with a cross-slash.


Sasha: Nice speed.

Then, he tests the shooting mode of the swords, firing many energy bullets at Sasha, who was deflecting them while spinning her scythe, then he warped close to her and attacked some more.


Sasha: (He has a natural talent for this...no doubt.)

Ralf: (Tch, just as expected from a veteran...i can't land a slash...)

But he knew, he was stronger than ever, so he increased his speed, trying to overwhelm Sasha.


Sasha: (Coming from all sides huh? Then how about this?) Lotus Flower!

She jumps upwars, then swings her scythe in a spinning motion.


Ralf: Whoa! So close.

Sasha: There you are!

Then, she deals two dance-like slashes on Ralf, but he dodges them.


Ralf: Whew...

Sasha: Well, guess i don't have to teach you much in terms of combat.

Ralf: Yeah...Yukari already took care of that.

Sasha: I see.

Ralf: Guess we should go back now.

Sasha: So, you're staying with them?

Ralf: Yes, but i'll save them as trump cards.

He de-summon the weapons.


Sasha: Very well, back to the hotel them...but before that...i'll be staying with the bed.

Yui begins with a Winged Slayer move.

Yui flies at high speeds and clashes swords with Saika.

Saika does a movement that makes Yui lose balance.

Saika: Makes me wonder why are you using moves that i know how to avoid.

Yui swings her blade, but Saika jumps up and threws her sword to the ground, Yui jumps to avoid the attack then prepares a Blade Rush move.


Saika: C'mon, are you mocking me?

Yui: Blade Rush!

Yui seemly warps behind Saika, with her sword looking like she already dealt an attack.


Saika: Missed me! Alright, even as an Overlord, you're still so naive and inferior to me huh? Time to end this.

Saika throws her sword upwards, making it dissapear and it's place, four giant swords appear.


Yui: Whoa, is that a Sword Skill?

Saika: DARKNESS FALLS!!!

All the swords drop into Yui's location, causing an explosion.


Nepgear: M-Miss Yui!!!

Friday: Just relax Nepgear.

Saika: ...

Yui: Hiiiya!

Saika: I knew it! Hurricane Slash huh?

Saika pinned Yui on the ground before she could get closer.


Yui: Urgh...You really got better Saika...your sword skill is really better than i remember.

Saika: But of course, i need to defeat you after all...

Then, she kicks her rival away.

Saika: Now show me your true power. I know you're hiding something. Theres no need for a sword duel anymore.

Yui summons her custom spear.

Yui: That's right...thetype of weapon i used to graduate from our trainning.

Saika: HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! THAT'S IT! I'LL BE ABLE TO DEFEAT YOU WHEN YOU ARE AT YOUR BEST!

Yuuri: (And...she got fired up...maybe i shouldn't tell her that this girl isn't Overlord...or else she might explode.)

Saika launches a Fire Slash, Yui dodges it by jumping really high.

Instead of dropping down, she throws the spear at high speeds, surprising Saika.

She jumps back to avoid the attack.


Saika: Alright, that one was clo-
