Bio

I am a 29 year old male. It has been a while since I posted to this site, but I want to get back into it. I enjoy RPing fantasy mostly, with some interest in Sci Fi and certain fandoms. I am more likely to maintain an RP if my partner is skilled in RPing and posts at least once every few days. I have an active imagination and tend to post casual to advanced. I am looking forward to RPing with many different people, and I thank you for taking the time to read my bio. :)

Sadly, I think you're right. I've been waiting for a reply to my last post but I haven't gotten one.
Yes. Once someone post a reply to those two characters walking in, just so that I don't have to double post, then I'll post again and move things along.
Interested! I've been waiting for a good super hero RP to crop up. ^_^
Eyrie

Eyrie Goldmoon dismounted her small pony and strode confidently toward the guards at the gate of the palace. Her shop was on the other side of the capitol city, but when she's received the letter from the king she couldn't let herself delay. This was the opportunity she had been waiting years for. Her father had once had his brief shining moment of glory when he was asked to make a ceremonial sword for the king's coronation. The result had been strong and beautiful, and had awed many who attended the grand event. However, her father had never once been summoned to the castle. Eyrie loved her father, but there was still a part of her that was jealous of her father's skill with crafting weapons and armor. So, when she's received the letter she could think only that the king wished to commission some enchanted item from her, something apparently so important that the job must be given in person. She smiled lightly to herself as she held out the letter with the rune for the guards to examine. They looked at it, then at her, the one raising his eyebrow, but then he said simply, "Follow me." With that, the two guards walked into the castle, Eyrie close behind. They walked through the main throne room, up a flight of stairs and through an open door into a large chamber. Eyrie was quite taken aback by the sight within. There were many other people here, people who were so out of place in the room that it was obvious this was not what she'd thought it would be. She dropped her hands, staring at all of the strangers gathered on one end of the room, while the King, Queen, Lord General, and another beautiful woman stood on the other end. She didn't know what to do and her confusion was making her angry, her light smile fading into a disappointed scowl as she leaned against the wall right next to the door, staring at all of the other people gathered there. What would the king want with so many odd fellows?

Sebastian

Sebastian wandered towards the gate of the castle, his eyes staring up at the large beautifully crafted and strong building, following it's lines as if he were looking for something. The guards there, looked at each other, bewildered, then back at the odd looking man approaching. Sebastian paid them no heed, simply attempting to walk past them towards the castle. The taller guard said, "Hey!", and they both placed their spears in his way, but to their astonishment the young man walked right through their spears, and as he passed them a small piece of paper with a rune on it seemed to fall out from under his cloak onto the ground behind him. The young man didn't even pause for a moment, simply walking straight through the door to the castle and heading upstairs, almost as if he already knew which way to go. He arrived at the door to the room and walked in straight for the window on the far side of the room. His eyes clamped onto those gathered in the room, roaming from one to another, a curious smile on his lips as his head turned rapidly from one to another, apparently enamored by all of the people. However, as he walked across the room he passed right through several of the others gathered there, a red haired young man, a young girl with a large hammer, and a man holding a large book. He sat down on the windowsill at the far end of the room, saying nothing. However, when he saw the brooding form of a man in full armor, dark and devilish, he broke out into a wide grin, his remarkably clean teeth showing as he simply stared at the brooding man and grinned.
Name: Sebastian "The Broken Man" Keen
Gender: Male
Age: 21
Magic User Type: Warlock
Appearance: Sebastian
Personality: Sebastian has quite a broken sense of humor, finding funny what most people would find frightening or sad. He tends to laugh or smile at most acts of destruction, intimidation, fear, mourning, death and the like. However, whenever he actually sees someone die, while he still smiles, for reasons he doesn't know himself, he will also cry uncontrollably through his smile. He has a deep seated delight for pain and suffering, yet will almost never actually cause physical harm himself, though he loves to induce emotional turmoil in others. When interacting with others he is generally non responsive, tending to dwell in his own little world, but every once in a while he will answer questions directed at him, though often when he does his answers are rather obscure and may not make sense. The only exception to his twisted sense of humor is children under the age of 15. If a child is hurt or crying or sad, he tends to do all he can to try to cheer them up, normally unsuccessfully as his strange methods tend to only make the child more frightened. If the child is actively in danger, he will almost always have one of his focused moments and will use his abilities to protect the child or defeat the danger until it is passed. Even then, however, he simply remains focused, not angry. The only time he will ever become angry is if someone tries to touch his feathered cloak. If this happens, he will immediately attack that person with an unmatched ferocity, though for some reason he never uses his powers when he is this angry, becoming almost rabid. He is erratic and quite unpredictable, and tends to be a bit of a wild card in almost every situation.
Powers: Though his personality may be wild, strange, and broken, Sebastian's abilities are quite under his control, though most often how he uses them cannot be predicted. He is a very powerful warlock, having mastered hexing and reality manipulation, while leaving his cursing to a minimum, though he can perform them quite well. He tends to prefer the indirect turmoil of hexes to the direct harm of cursing. As for reality manipulation, he is known for using for anything from having someone wake up half buried in their floor, to literally blowing his own face up like a balloon in order to elicit a smile from a child(which normally doesn't work.) Sometimes, however, he leaves destruction and death in his wake, normally unintentionally.
Skills/Talents: Unknown
Equipment/Weapons: Sebastian is unlikely to fight directly with someone unless a child is in danger, preferring to watch. However, when he does fight, he uses only his abilities and the enchantments from his two enchanted items. The first is the gemstone collar around his neck, which he has never explained how he acquired. The collar cannot be removed from his neck until his death, and it grants him the power of an insubstantial form if he wishes it. He becomes completely incorporeal, unable to receive or deal damage of any kind until he reverts back to normal. Secondly, he has his raven feather cloak, which he refers to simply as "She". While he is almost always wearing it or using it as a blanket, it can be removed from him. However, any attempt to do so would draw his unmitigated wrath. The cloak's enchantment is simple, it allows the wearer to be comfortable in any kind of weather.
Bio: Little is known of Sebastian's past, but rumors say that his parents would beat him harshly when he did something wrong, but be sweet and kind when he did something right. However, because of the nature of his abilities, the things he did were more often perceived as wrong. It is said that when he was 9 years old he caused an accident that killed both of his parents, and that he simply stood there, staring at their bodies and smiling and crying at the same time. After that people say he was taken in by a kind young woman who found him wandering the streets in the cold of winter. This was who gave him the feathered cloak, or so people say. Sebastian was very attached to her, loving her greatly, however, she too had a terrible accident, though this time it wasn't clear whether it was Sebastian who caused it, as he wasn't nearby when it occurred. After that he simply wandered from town to town, becoming something of a myth and a legend, gaining the moniker, "The Broken Man".
Stupid site double posted again.
That isn't so, WanderingSpirits. Your character isn't a smith, she's a sculptor and a craftswoman. I actually find it very likely that the two characters will get along very well.

On another note, it seems that I am The Black Wizards will not be posting in time. However, I'm actually really wiped out so I'll have to delay my next post until tomorrow, but no later than that.
Name: Eyrie Goldmoon
Gender: Female
Age: 26
Magic User Type: Enchantress
Appearance: Eyrie Goldmoon
Personality: Eyrie is rather guarded and stoic, normally not associating with others unless she knows them. She is rather mistrustful of most people and has a tough exterior, tending to be straight forward and a bit harsh even. However, if she grows to know someone she will begin to soften towards them, giving them advice and being generally helpful. Her loyalty is not given easily, nor her friendship, but if earned she is fiercely protective of her friends. She tends to be a bit judgmental of others, and she also tends to speak her mind when addressed but keeps her opinions to herself otherwise, unless she believes they need to be voiced. She is very moral, unwilling to participate in most dubious dealings and tasks or to hurt innocent people, but she also doesn't tend to go out of her way to help others, believing that people have to make their own way in the world. She has forged a tough countenance and exterior to hide her inner turmoil and certain self doubts.
Powers: Eyrie is a highly enchantress whose specialty is creating enchanted jewelry, trinkets and objects that are made with glass, metal, or both. She is quite inventive, creating and forging many useful objects with even more useful enchantments. She prides herself on creating enchanted objects that are useful or imaginative, though she also creates toys with simple enchantments that cause them to move or whatnot. She is well known to create some of the most powerful enchantments in the kingdom and is considered a prodigy in that area. She is not very skilled with illusions, however. Most of her attempts at creating them do not last long and are rarely anything more than visual illusions.
Skills/Talents: She is a master craftsman, devoting her time to creating simple jewelry and other metal and glass objects. She also is fairly good with long knives, which she dual wields in close combat. In addition, she is quite skilled with throwing daggers, able to throw them with extreme accuracy up to 20 feet away, and with a relative likelihood to connect with her target at up to 30 feet. She has a keen eye for detail and intricate patterns and is knowledgeable about many kinds of craftsmen from ages past. She can look at a weapon or piece of armor and tell much about who forged it and what or who it was made for.
Equipment/Weapons: She carries with her a set of six throwing daggers and two long knives, as well as an enchanted spyglass that is able to see a person's true nature as an aura of varying colors. The spyglass was one of her finest creations, made from silver and iron. She keeps it strapped to her thigh most of the time, and will not let it out of her sight. She also has a silver ring that she wears on her right hand with a decent protection enchantment that protects her from any cuts made with slashing weapons like swords and axes.
Bio: Eyrie was born to a respected weapon and armor smith who was also an enchanter and his wife. His skill with enchanting was not as good as his skill with forging armor and weapons. He is well known as one of the best weapon smiths in the land, having created armor and weapons for many lords, nobles and knights and even a ceremonial sword for the king himself. However, his enchantments were never very good. From a young age, Eyrie always admired the work her father did and planned on taking up the forging of armor and weapons herself, but she found that her own attributes were not suited for it. She found that her skills were the inverse of her father's, excelling at enchantments, but poor in crafting armor and weapons. She earned much pity from her father and other smiths and she took it very hard herself, hating the pity. She decided to make a name for herself and prove herself a true craftsman and outshine the smiths with her skill and the power of her enchantments. Since then she's devoted her life to creating wondrous enchantments and objects, from toys and trinkets to jewelry. She eventually reconciled with her father, but she maintains a stern dislike for most other smiths.
Okay, so Molach posted as the Wizard, Fellsing has decided she has to leave, so I will likely be creating my own NPC enchanter, and I am the Black Wizards has asked if he is still in,(he is our Warlock) to which I have replied that he is in if he can post soon, as in, today or tomorrow. So, I am going to create new Enchanter and post for that character, then all we have to do is wait for our Warlock to post. Even if he doesn't post, by tomorrow night I'm going move things along.
I'm interested in this. I would like more info on the types of characters or creatures that would fall under the heading of "yokai". Are we simply talking about people who are half demon, or can they be partly descended from other sorts of mythilogical creatures, such as fae or something?
